DAVIES ENTERTAINMENT ANNOUNCES JAMES KIRKLAND CO-PROMOTIONAL DEAL WITH WARRIORS BOXING

San Antonio, Texas – Davies Entertainment is proud to announce that knockout artist James Kirkland (34-2, 30 KO) has signed a two year, six fight co-promotional deal with Warriors Boxing (who have worked on previous fight cards with the likes of PBC, Top Rank, Golden Boy, Etc) . After a four year layoff, Kirkland returned to the ring in August of 2019 and has won his first two fights convincingly by way of knockout.


Kirkland has been one of boxing’s most explosive fighters with his sights set on lining up a huge fight with major contenders in 2020 and gradually working his way back into world title contention. This deal will provide the vicious southpaw the opportunity of achieving that and more.


“My only goal has been to get back on top and with this kind of team surrounding me I feel like it’s only a matter of time before it happens,” said Kirkland.


Kirkland will be in attendance at tonight’s Terrence Crawford fight in New York.

MINNEAPOLIS (Febbraio 24, 2019) – Anthony Dirrell (33-1-1, 24 KO) sconfittoAvni Yildirim (21-2, 12 KO)mediante decisione di scissione tecnica (96-94 X 2 per Dirrell, 98-92 per Yildirim) per il vacante WBC Super Middleweight World Championship nell'evento principale dei Premier Boxing Champions su FS1 e FOX Deportes dall'Armory a Minneapolis. The 22-year-old southpaw from Nashville, Tennessee most recently scored a TKO victory over Carlos Padilla last August.
Colbert (7-0, 2 KO) has one of the most decorated amateur careers in New York City as he fights out of the renowned Atlas Cops and Kids Gym in Brooklyn. The 21-year-old is noted for his blazing hand and foot speed and he enters this fight coming off a unanimous decision victory over previously unbeaten Titus Williams last November.

Jessica McCaskill Gets Her Wish to Face Katie Taylor: Social Media Challenges Turn to Women’s Super Fight on December 13 a Londra

Christmas comes a little early this year for hard-punching Warriors Boxing lightweight Jessica ‘CasKILLA’ McCaskill.

All year, she and manager/trainer Rick Ramos have been expressing their wish, via social media, to face Irish gold medalist turned professional world champion Katie Taylor.
Su Mercoledì, Dicembre 13, they will get their wish, as Chicago-based McCaskill (5-1, 3 KO) will challenge Taylor (7-0, 4 KO) for her WBA Lightweight Championship at York Hall in London, Inghilterra, and live before a massive audience on Sky Sports.
“I’m relieved. I’ve been working toward this fight for a long time,” said McCaskill, nominale #2 in the world at 135 lbs and #1 in the United States in women’s boxing. “We have been training for this fight since my last fight because we knew it was coming and we’ve definitely bumped up the intensity.”
Before turning professional a year ago, the popular Taylor, from Bray, won lightweight gold at the 2012 London Olympics, as well as an impressive assortment of world and European amateur championships. Known as the Irish athlete of her entire generation, Taylor is regarded as a superstar in the UK because of her aggressive and crowd-pleasing style.
“I’ve never watched a full fight of hers,” professed McCaskill. “I’ve seen some highlights. I see mistakes she makes, but it’s not so much what I see in her. It’s what I see in all her opponents. They’ve all been scared of her. I am not. You won’t see any fear in me. Everybody else was terrified to engage her. They just showed up. I’ll be fighting to the last bell.”
Much of the credit for landing the fight must go to Ramos, who doggedly pursued Taylor and her promoter, Eddie Hearn of Matchroom Boxing, on social media.
“I felt like offended about comments Katie and Eddie made about how no one wants to fight her,” explained Ramos. “I remember thinking, ‘well, NO ONE called Jessica. We would love to fight Katie!’ That kind of started everything. Eddie Hearn finally did contact me via Instagram and things started getting real. I was happy that my social-media tactic worked!”
McCaskill, who also works full-time in Regulatory and Reporting at R.J. O’Brien & Associates investment bank in Chicago, says she’s not intimidated about stepping into Taylor’s home field for this fight. Infatti, she’s expecting a number of her fans to be there as well.
“It’s funny because of my job and my previous investment banking job, I have a lot of contacts and friends over there who are excited to show up for me. My company I work for has a branch that is three miles from the venue. I’ll be expecting a lot of fans there for me as well that night. It would be incredible to headline over there and to break her undefeated record and get my first world title in one night in front of them. Non vedo l'ora!”

Originally from Michoacan, Messico, ma combattimento da Houston, Flores will look to bounce back from his first pro defeat in February to veteran contender Dat Nguyen. Avals has also been triumphant over previously unbeaten fighters Yenifel Vicente and Khabir Suleymanov.

Warriors Signs Undefeated Middleweight Kalvin Henderson to a Promotional Contract

Warriors Boxing proudly announces the signing of Arkansas-based middleweight Kalvin “Salsa piccante” Henderson to a promotional contract.
With brains to back up the brawn, 26-year-old Henderson (6-0, 3 KO) ha conseguito una laurea in educazione musicale presso l'Università dell'Arkansas, con specializzazione in percussioni. A boxer who can punch, Henderson cites his education as a major factor in his ring success. “I have a great jab, but it’s my boxing IQ that is my strongest asset. I am very smart in there. Boxing is a chess match. Opponents are quick or strong or sometimes both, but they can’t think like I do in the ring. I break them down mentally.”
“I am beyond thrilled to have Kalvin sign with Warrior’s Boxing,” said Henderson’s manager, Shane Shapiro. “Kalvin has a large following in his area. He is a hard worker with rare talent and I believe with Leon’s guidance he will become world champion.”

Henderson says signing with Warriors is not only good for his boxing career, but also a road to a better place for he and wife Danielle and their kids.
“My main goal is to take care of my family. I’m going to use my skills and talent to make sure they are financially ok. Con questo, of course I want to win numerous belts. 32-year-old power puncher McCaskill hails from St. Louis, but now lives in Chicago and trains under Rick Ramos. The first woman to ever sign a promotional agreement with Warriors Boxing, the popular slugger has earned her fan-favorite status with a series of UIC Pavilion barn burners.
She was last seen in April at the previous Windy City Fight Night, scoring an exciting unanimous decision over then 4-1 Brenda Gonzales.
