LAS VEGAS (Febbraio 27, 2020) – Undefeated super lightweightKendo “Tremendo” Castaneda (17-0, 8 KO) flew into Orlando from his native San Antonio this past Tuesday night on his first visit to Florida.

Unlike millions of people who go to Orlando for Disneyworld, anche se, Castaneda’s initial look at palm trees is simply part of his business trip. Last October in Reno, Nevada, Castaneda stoppedStan Martyniouk (20-3) nel sesto round, after which he was installed by the World Boxing Organization as its No. 15 rated super lightweight in the world.

WBO No. 8 ranked Alamo, fighting out of Puerto Rico, is coming off the only blemish on either fighter’s pro record, fighting to a draw withAntonio Moran (24-4-1).

Alamo, 24, is the former World Boxing Council (WBC) Youth World and FECARBOX super lightweight champion, who has made three successful NABO title defenses.

SAN ANTONIO, TX (Dicembre 17, 2019) – WBA super lightweight champion, Mario “L'azteco” Quartieri (25-0, 16 KO), continues to receive accolades from his hometown of San Antonio, Texas. Nel settembre 28, 2019, Barrios defeated Batyr Akhmedov, winning the vacant WBA World Title, becoming the first world champion from San Antonio nell'ultimo 25 anni.

Oggi, Barrios was honored with a special recognition at the Commissioners Court. Commissioner Justin Rodriguez from Bexar County, Precinct 2, who sponsored the ceremony, was joined by his colleagues on Commissioners Court in San Antonio and presented Barrios with a proclamation.

“It’s an honor to be recognized by the Commissioners Court here in my hometown of San Antonio,” Detto Barrios. “It’s been a nice ride since winning my world title. I’ve been meeting some very influential people, and these are individuals that are making a difference in San Antonio. Today was incredible and I want to thank everyone for all their support.”

Barrios has been active in his community since becoming a world champion. In Ottobre, Barrios joined Shoe Palace and gave way shoes to thirty families at the Boys and Girls Club.

“I think being a positive role model is important, so I’m going to join forces with everyone, to help make San Antonio a better place for our youth,” Barrios continua. “Building a strong community is what’s important at the end of the day, and I’ll be here to help out. Presto, I’ll be having a big fight in San Antonio, and I’m going to make sure tickets are priced reasonable so everyone can come out and enjoy the fights. It would be nice to see the support from the fans, that’s what gets me excited. I cant wait to fight in San Antonio.”

DAVIES ENTERTAINMENT ANNOUNCES JAMES KIRKLAND CO-PROMOTIONAL DEAL WITH WARRIORS BOXING

San Antonio, Texas – Davies Entertainment is proud to announce that knockout artist James Kirkland (34-2, 30 KO) has signed a two year, six fight co-promotional deal with Warriors Boxing (who have worked on previous fight cards with the likes of PBC, Top Rank, Golden Boy, Etc) . After a four year layoff, Kirkland returned to the ring in August of 2019 and has won his first two fights convincingly by way of knockout.


Kirkland has been one of boxing’s most explosive fighters with his sights set on lining up a huge fight with major contenders in 2020 and gradually working his way back into world title contention. This deal will provide the vicious southpaw the opportunity of achieving that and more.


“My only goal has been to get back on top and with this kind of team surrounding me I feel like it’s only a matter of time before it happens,” said Kirkland.


Kirkland will be in attendance at tonight’s Terrence Crawford fight in New York.

MATAMOROS, MESSICO (Maggio 30, 2019) – Boxing Prince Ranch 18-year-old featherweight sensation, Ricky Medina (3-0 2KO) di San Antonio, Texas, will return to the ring this Friday for his fourth professional bout at The Casa Ahida Cafeteria Gourmet in Heroica Matamoros, Messico.


For Medina, who is promoted by TMB & PRB Entertainment, this will be his first time fighting outside of his home state of Texas, let alone the United States.

“I am very excited to fight for the first time in Mexico. Mexico has a lot of great world champions over the years including Julio Cesar Chavez, Juan Manuel Marquez, Marco Antonio Barrera,Erik Morales and many more that I looked up to. For my promoter and manager to be able to put me in a situation to fight in such a boxing rich country and build fans out here, it is quite an honor.” said Medina about his upcoming fight on Friday night.


Medina, who faced an undefeated fighter in his last bout is looking to challenge himself in the professional game of boxing, early and often.

SAN ANTONIO, TX (Dicembre 1, 2018) – Last night at the Scottish Rite Theatre in San Antonio, TX, TMB & PRB Entertainment e Roy Jones Jr. Promozioni di boxe, presented, “Whose ‘0’ Will Go 2”, dove Kendo Castaneda (15-0, 7 KO) captured the NABA super lightweight title with a unanimous decision victory Gilbert Venegas Jr. (10-1, 6 KO), handing him his first loss as a professional.
Nei primi turni, both fighters were having their moments, landing hard shots, but as the fight progressed, Castaneda started to get in a grove by going to the body. Venegas held his own but couldn’t get his punches off like he wanted too, and Castaneda started to take over the fight. Nelle fasi successive, Castaneda was landing three punch combinations, while boxing from a distance, finishing the fight strong. Local hero, Luey Villareal (4-0-1, 1 KO) captured the ABF middleweight title with a stunning TKO against Michael Klekotta (2-4, 1 KO). Villareal broke down Klekotta for the first three rounds before stopping him with a barrage of punches in the fourth round. The time was at the 1:20 contrassegno.

4-Round Middleweight
In a battle of middleweight prospects, Washington Luiz (1-0, 1 KO), who was making his pro debut, scored a fourth round TKO against David Godley (1-1). Luiz was circling to his right, landing accurate counter punches throughout the fight. A right hook, straight left combo hurt Godly, knocking him out on his feet, forcing the referee to stop the bout at the .45 marchio del quarto round.

RICHARD “EL CASTIGO” MEDINA READY TO SHINE IN 2ND PRO FIGHT

SAN ANTONIO, TX (Novembre 8, 2018) – Amateur standout and 5-Time National Champion, Ricky “El Castigo” Medina (1-0, 1 KO), che è gestito da Prince Ranch Boxing’s Greg Hannley e promosso da TMB & PRB Entertainment, is scheduled to return to the ring on December 1, 2018, at the Scottish Rite Theatre in San Antonio, TX. At only 18-years old, Medina, who is a senior at Lanier High School in San Antonio, gives his thoughts on being a professional fighter while still attending high school.

 

 

 

“It’s great that I’m able to fight professionally while I’m still in high school, because I have a lot of friends that come to see me fight.” Medina continued. “I’m hoping to have a bunch of teachers attend as well. I’m starting to build up a nice fan base. I’m hoping it grows with each fight.”

Daniel “La Bestia” Baiz Returns This Saturday in San Antonio

SAN ANTONIO, TX (Ottobre 25, 2018) – Prince Ranch pugile Daniel “La Bestia” Baiz (12-1, 5 KO), will return to action this Saturday, Ottobre 27, 2018 at the San Antonio Shrine Auditorium in San Antonio, Texas. Baiz will face Leonardo Esquivel Carrizal (5-4-1, 2 KO) in a 4-round bout and vowed to fight at welterweight by the start of 2019. This fight will be at a catch weight of 150 lbs.

 

 

 

“I know what I have to do to become one of the best fighters in the world and part of that is making the right choices to fight at the right weight,” said Baiz. “I know that fighting at welterweight will give me the best possible chance to win a world title. I’m looking forward to fighting in front of my hometown fans once again this Saturday.”
