Las Vegas (Iulie 16, 2025) – Three-division world champion and Hall of Famer Shane Mosley has confirmed that he will appear at the Eighth Annual Box Fan Expo on Saturday September 13, 2025 at the Las Vegas Convention Center from 10 a.m. pentru 5 p.m. The Expo will also coincide with the mega fight between Canelo Alvarez vs Terence Crawford, that will take place later that evening at the Allegiant Stadium.

Mosley will hold a Meet & Greet with his fans at his 2nd Chance Boxing Promotions booth during the fan event held over the Mexican Independence Day weekend.

The Box Fan Expo is an annual fan event that coincides with some of the sports’ legendar, classic fights in Las Vegas, including Mayweather vs. Maidana II, Mayweather vs. Berto, Canelo vs. Chavez Jr., Canelo vs. GGG II, Canelo vs. Jacobs, Canelo vs. GGG III and Canelo vs Munguia.

About Shane Mosley

“Zahăr” Shane Mosley, is a globally respected boxing icon and Hall of Famer. He competed from 1993 pentru 2016. About Roy Jones Jr.
Roy Jones Jr. is an American professional boxer who has captured numerous championships in the Middleweight, Super Mijlocie, Light heavyweight and Heavyweight divisions. He is the only boxer in history to start his career as a junior middleweight, and go on to win a heavyweight title. He is also noted for holding the WBC, WBA, IBF, IBO, NABF, WBF, and IBA light heavyweight championships; a record seven belts at the same time. Jones left his mark in boxing history when he won the WBA heavyweight title, becoming the first former middleweight champion to win a Heavyweight title in 106 an. As of February 2018, Jones holds the record for the most wins in unified light heavyweight title bouts in boxing history, at twelve. USA Boxing Alumni Association tribute & fundraiser for N.E. greats Vinny Paz & Micky Ward a major success

Colorado Springs, Poală. (Februarie 26, 2019) – USA Boxing Alumni Association’s tribute this past weekend to two of New England’s all-time greatest amateur boxers, Vinny “The Pazmanian Devil” Paz și “Irlandez” Micky Ward, was a major success at Twin River Casino in Lincoln, Rhode Island.

A sold-out fundraiser to benefit the USA Boxing Alumni Association was held at Fred & Steve’s Steakhouse on Friday evening, honoring Paz and Ward, in addition to Hall of Fame referee Steve Smoger, who officiated numerous fights for both fighters.

Paz and Ward held a meet-and-greet Saturday night, prior to a CES Boxing event, as the popular boxers signed autographs and posed for pictures. They were brought into the ring, along with Smoger, and received a standing applause from the large crowd in attendance.



USA Boxing Alumni Association’s back-to-back nights at Twin River raised $3,000 (including proceeds from Sportsworld’s memorabilia auction) and added 20 new alumni members, including Paz, to its growing ranks.

“We were part of a magical weekend,” a spus Al Valenti, USA Boxing Special Projects Consultant. “Vinny and Micky greeted so many of their fans. It is without question that these two warriors define what the USA Boxing Alumni Association is all about: bringing together so many members from so many years past that built the future for so many young boxers. It was especially rewarding to see past boxers, coaches and officials flock to Vinny and Micky. The entire two-day experience at Twin River Casino was packed with memories that we will all hold onto for years to come. We’d like to thank Jimmy Burchfield (CES Boxing) for his hospitality and hosting Saturday evening’s event.”

Topping this outstanding evening of action is a ten round cruiserweight title showdown between NABA champion “Slick” Nick Kisner of Baltimore and former champion Alex Guerrero.
Fighting out of Baltimore, Kisner has an impressive 19-3-1 registrul profesionist cu 6 Lui KO. This week on the FNU Combat Sports Show we discuss a fantastic month of November as far as fighting goes. We only had two shows last month, so we kick off this week in catch up mode. We discuss Ward vs. Kovalev at length, go off on a few tangents and then get to Tony’s review of “Bleed For This.” We then go back to MMA for Rich’s commentary on Miesha Tate telling Dana White, “FU, you’re not my boss..” after his request that she go to the hospital after her fight with Raquel Pennington. Tate retired earlier in the evening after a stellar career. Rich also gets going about the fighter union front and some new developments with Georges St. Pierre, Ex-Bellator CEO Bjorn Rebney, Cain Velasquez, T.J. Dillashaw and other UFC notables breaking new ground in the niche with the founding of the Mixed Martial Arts Athletes Association. We also manage to preview the upcoming weekend’s boxing schedule before the end of the broadcast tonight.

American Legend Set To Descend On London Boxing Gym In Celebration Of Film About His Career

On Monday 28lea Noiembrie, Vinny Patience, the subject of forthcoming Hollywood movie BLEED FOR THIS, will descend on pro boxer Ben Day’s Ringtone Gym in Euston, London for a series of press interviews, ahead of a special private screening of the film that evening. BLEED FOR THIS goes on general release in the UK on Friday 2nd Decembrie.

 

BLEED FOR THIS is based on the incredible true story of Vinny Pazienza, who is played by Miles Teller in the movie, one of the few American boxers to hold World Titles in three different weight categories, who suffered a near-fatal car accident at the peak of his career. Told he would never walk again. Vinny spent months recovering in a neck brace until, against doctors’ orders and without their knowledge, he returned to the gym. With support of trainer Kevin Rooney, played by Aaron Eckhart in the movie, “The Pazmanian Devil” made a triumphant return to the ring just over a year later.

 

Written and directed by Ben Younger (Boiler Room), BLEED FOR THIS is executive produced by RAGING BULL director Martin Scorsese. Miles Teller (Whiplash, War Dogs) stars as Vinny alongside Aaron Eckhart (The Dark Knight, Păta) as Pazienza’s trainer Kevin Rooney. The Supporting cast includes Ciarán Hinds, Ted Levine and Katey Sagal.

 

On a quirky side note: Sâmbăta 3rd Decembrie, the day after BLEED FOR THIS is released nationally in the UK, Ringtone Gym owner Ben Day will be back in Championship action himself, as he looks to secure his third title, the Southern Area Lightweight, against Michael Devine at York Hall in Bethnal Green, Londra.

 

Speaking earlier Ben said “I’m really looking forward to Vinny and the stars of the film coming to the gym pe luni. I can empathise with Vinnys struggles we’ve both had struggles in similar areas, his physical and mine mental, following an extremely tough upbringing, however against all the odds I now hold an International Masters Belt and the Southern Area Super-Lightweight title, and I’m fighting for the Southern Area Lightweight Title on 3rd December!”

BOSTON (Octombrie. 21, 2015) — Statele Unite ale Americii Box New England, cu sediul în 1880 ca de fi cial organismul de conducere al box amator din regiune, va onora fi ve foști standouts amatori, care a devenit campioni mondiali ca boxeri profesioniști, Duminică, Noiembrie 8 la Anthony în Malden.
Vinny Paz (Cranston, RI), Micky Ward (Lowell, MA), Joey Gamache (Lewiston, PE MINE), Jose Antonio Rivera (Worcester, MA) și John Ruiz (Chelsea, MA) vor primi premii pentru realizarile lor remarcabile în lumea boxului.
Statele Unite ale Americii Box New England va prezenta, de asemenea, sa inaugural Skeets Scioli Lifetime Achievement Award. Scioli a servit ca președinte al SUA Box New England, inchis si deschis, într-o perioadă de 70 de ani iconic. El a murit în 2010 la vârsta de 97.
