Las Vegas (Juliol 16, 2025) – Three-division world champion and Hall of Famer Shane Mosley has confirmed that he will appear at the Eighth Annual Box Fan Expo on Saturday September 13, 2025 at the Las Vegas Convention Center from 10 a.m. a 5 p.m. The Expo will also coincide with the mega fight between Canelo Alvarez vs Terence Crawford, that will take place later that evening at the Allegiant Stadium.

Mosley will hold a Meet & Greet with his fans at his 2nd Chance Boxing Promotions booth during the fan event held over the Mexican Independence Day weekend.

The Box Fan Expo is an annual fan event that coincides with some of the sports’ llegendari, classic fights in Las Vegas, including Mayweather vs. Maidana II, Mayweather vs. Berto, canelo vs. Chavez Jr., canelo vs. GGG II, canelo vs. Jacobs, canelo vs. GGG III and Canelo vs Munguia.

Centered in boxing’s long-time home – Las Vegas – this year’s Expo is a must-do for fight fans coming in for this legendary weekend, with dozens of professional fighters, promotors, and companies involved in the boxing industry. About Shane Mosley

“Sucre” Shane Mosley, is a globally respected boxing icon and Hall of Famer. He competed from 1993 a 2016. Mosley held multiple world championships in three weight classes, including the IBF lightweight title, the WBA (Súper), the WBC welterweight titles, and the WBA (Súper) as well as the WBC and The Ring magazine light middleweight titles. He was also known as the lineal champion at welterweight (dues vegades) and light middleweight.

En 1998, the Boxing Writers Association of America named Mosley as their Fighter of the Year. He was also given the same honor by the International Boxing Hall of Fame in 2000. European Super Featherweight Champion Samir Ziani calls out Tevin Farmer: “Farmer has chickened out” of WBC Eliminator

PARIS, França (Abril 18, 2021) – European Super Featherweight Champion Samir Ziani (32-3-1, 7 KOs) has called out Tevin “American Idol” Farmer (30-5-1, 6 KOs), former International Boxing Federation World Super Featherweight Champion, to fight June 5º for the WBC Silver belt in a World Boxing Council (CMB) eliminació lluita. Teofimo Lopez obliterates Mason Menard in 44 seconds with “Knockout de l'Any” candidate in front of large viewing audience in ESPN

NOVA YORK (Desembre 10, 2018) -Top lightweight Teofimo Lopez scored an explosive 44-second knockout over Mason Menard this past Saturday night at The Hulu Theater at Madison Square Garden in a scheduled ten-round bout that was viewed by a massive audience on ESPN.


Lopez landed a crushing right hand that had Menard plummeting face-first on to the canvas, in what was the opening televised bout on the Vasilly Lomachenko – Jose Pedraza lightweight unification card.

Lopez is now the NABA, NABF and USBA Lightweight champion.
The knockout, was featured on ESPN SportsCenter, and all over social media, took place on an event which was the 2nd highest rated boxing card on cable television this year

Amb la victòria, Lopez pushed his perfect mark to 11-0 amb nou nocauts, and now he feels he is ready for anybody in the lightweight division.

Nova York, Nova York (Juliol 18, 2018)–It was a perfect weekend for Split-T Management, as six members of Boxing’s deepest management stable remained undefeated with impressive victories.
Teòfimo López announced himself to the lightweight division with an impressive 6th round stoppage over William Silva.
La baralla, which was the co-feature bout on ESPN, took place en dissabte night at The Lakefront Arena in New Orleans.
Despite breaking his hand, Lopez was dominating in taking out Silva, who came into the fight with a 25-1 registre. Silva, who had never been knocked down in his career, hit the canvas three times, including the end which came 15 seconds into the 6th frame.

2016 U.S. Olímpic Charles Conwell (8-0, 6 KOs) was equally as impressive by stopping Travis Scott in the 2nd round of their junior middleweight bout.
In a bout which was supposed to be a step-up contest for Conwell, saw the undefeated Cleveland native land a perfect left hook to the body that sent Scott down for the ten-count in the 2nd stanza.
Undefeated and world ranked Erick De Leon showed guts and heart to win a 10-round unanimous decision over Adrian Young in a super featherweight bout.
DeLeon dislocated his shoulder when he fell in the 1st round, and then came back to dominate and win the remaining nine rounds, with final scores of 98-91 i 97-92 dues vegades.
De Leon was able to fight on despite the severity of the shoulder injury which required hospitalization following the fight.

De Leon of Detroit remains undefeated at 18-0-1. Young Los Mochis, MEX falls to 25-5-2.
Also in New Orleans,súper mitjà Tyler Howard of Crossville,Tennessee made it 15-0 amb 10 knockouts by registering a 2nd round stoppage over Javier Frazier.
Raquel Miller remained undefeated by winning a six-round unanimous decision over Tifffany Woodard in a middleweight bout. The fight took place at the Fairmont Hotel in Miller’s hometown of San Francisco.
Miller won by shutout scores of 60-54 on all cards to raise her unblemished mark of to 7-0.
Anthony Barnes won a six-round majority decision over Dwayne Williams at The Motor City Casino in Barnes’ hometown of Detroit.
Barnes is now 11-0.
“It was a great weekend for Split-T Management. I am proud of these six fighters. They all rose to the occasion, and stayed undefeated. Teofimo Lopez shines with 6th round stoppage over William Silva in ESPN co-feature

NOVA YORK (Juliol 16, 2018)–Teofimo Lopez shined in a major step up bout as he dominated William Silva by scoring a 6th round stoppage in their lightweight bout that was the co-feature on ESPN.

The bout took place on Saturday night at the Lakefront Arena in New Orleans.

A la primera ronda, Lopez dumped Silva with a left hook. Silva was bleeding from the nose, En la cinquena ronda, Lopez landed several hard hooks to the bloodied Silva, and then dumped Silva to the canvas in the corner.

Lopez came out in round six by landing three left hooks and a right that dropped Silva and the bout was called at 15 segon.

Silva who came in with a record of 25-1, and is only loss was to Felix Verdejo on HBO, had never been knocked down before the fighter known as “Gros” dropped him three times.

Lopez is now 10-0 amb 8 nocauts. Silva is 25-2.

“I know everything is set up by the jab,” va dir López. “The jab is the most important punch. I was playing with his mind. I was setting him up by letting him get comfortable and then to land the big shot. I hurt my hands, early in the fight but you prepare yourself for the worst possible. I just put everyone on notice that I’m coming for those world title at 135lbs!”

“I can’t remember ever seeing such a dynamic young performer as Teofimo Lopez. He’s going to be the best in the world,” said Split-T Management CEO David McWater.

Nova Orleans, LA (Juliol 12, 2018) - Quan el pes lleuger William "Baby Face" Silva va arribar a Nova Orleans ahir a la tarda, va baixar de l'avió i va aixecar les dues mans en l'aire.

 

 

 

Cada vegada que un avió aterra a Nova Orleans, els viatgers feliços aixequen les mans de manera prèvia a la celebració del que vindrà durant el seu temps al Big Easy. La postura de Silva, però, és una que espera repetir dissabte al vespre després de derrotar al potencial potencial Teofimo López quan els dos s'enfronten al Lakefront Arena de Nova Orleans..

 

 

 

Silva, 25-1 (14 Nocauts), va completar un intens camp d'entrenament amb l'entrenador principal José Rodríguez a Plant City, Florida. Silva ready to shine against Lopez

Ciutat Planta, Florida (Juny 26, 2018) – Lightweight William “Baby Face” Silva has an outstanding professional record of 25-1 amb 14 triomfs per nocaut. The Plant City, FL based Brazilian won most of his bouts comfortably and has been top 15 Qualificació.

 

 

 

Teofimo Lopez is considered a blue chip prospect though he’s yet to face a stiff challenge as a professional.

 

 

 

The talented 20-year-old represented Honduras at the 2016 Olympics and is 9-0 amb 7 triomfs per nocaut. Following a recent ESPN televised first round KO, Lopez received much attention for a victory dance he did honoring the popular game Fortnite.

 

 

 

Al juliol 14, Silva and Lopez square off over ten rounds for the WBC Continental Americas lightweight title. The bout will air live on ESPN and ESPN Deportes at 7 p.m. ET from the Lakefront Arena in New Orleans, LA. A large crowd is expected.

 

 

 

With just over two weeks until the opening bell sounds, Silva’s sharpening his tools in an intense camp with head trainer Jose Rodriguez at Plant City Boxing Gym. Between extra time in the gym, world class sparring and an added motivation from the public viewing him as an underdog, Silva is confident July 14 will elevate his career, not Lopez’.

 

 

 

“I feel great and our preparations have gone exactly as planned so far,” Silva said following a training session at Plant City Boxing Gym. “Lopez is a good fighter but this is a great opportunity to show that I’m also a top talent. My team and I will be prepared for victory July 14.”

 

 

 

El promotor de Silva, Jody Caliguire of Fire Fist Boxing, has seen a significant improvement in his fighter in the last six months and believes that Lopez is in for a surprise.

 

 

 

“I believe some people are probably expecting to see the William Silva they did against Felix Verdejo but they’re in for a major surprise. He’s a totally different fighter now and improvements have been made across the board that I’ve seen firsthand in the gym. If Lopez and his supporters are viewing Silva as a stepping stone with a good record it’s not only motivation for our side but a major mistake on theirs.”

 

 

 

The card is headlined by a battle of unbeatens between New Orleans’ very own Regis Prograis and Argentina’s Juan Jose Velasco for the World Boxing Council (CMB) interim super lightweight title.

Ciutat Planta, Florida (Maig 16, 2018) – Fire Fist Boxing Promotions’ William “Baby Face” Silva will challenge undefeated Olympian Teofimo Lopez in a ten round lightweight contest Saturday, Juliol 14 at the Lakefront Arena at the University of New Orleans.

 

 

 

Silva-Lopez opens a Top Rank promoted ESPN telecast headlined by New Orleans’ own Regis Prograis, 21-0 (18 Nocauts), against Argentina’s Juan Jose Velasco, 20-0 (12 Nocauts), for the WBC interim junior welterweight championship.

 

 

 

Hailing from Sao Paulo, Brazil and fighting out of Plant City, Florida, Silva has an outstanding professional ledger of 25-1 amb 14 nocauts. En el seu combat més recent, Silva shutout Rogelio Casarez to capture the IBO Continental and NBA World lightweight championships. The 31-year-old Silva trains under Jose Rodriguez at the Plant City Boxing Gym and made significant strides since his lone setback against Felix Verdejo in 2016.

 

 

 

Widely regarded among America’s best young fighters, Lopez is a perfect 9-0 amb 7 triomfs per nocaut. Al maig 12, Lopez demolished once-beaten Vitor Jones Freitas in 64 segon. Born in Brooklyn, NY and based in Davie, Florida, the highly-touted Lopez represented his parents’ home country of Honduras in the 2016 Olympics but lost in the opening round eventual silver medalist Sofiane Oumiha of France.

 

 

 

The Silva-Lopez bout is for the NBA World and IBO Continental lightweight titles.
