Team USA middleweight Troy Isley was named Most Outstanding Boxer of the night

USA Boxing Announces Rosters for USA vs. IRL Northeast Boxing Tour

COLORADO SPRINGS, Лап. (Март 7, 2018) — USA Boxing announced today the tentative rosters for the three-city USA vs. IRL Northeast Boxing Tour that is kicking offМарт 12 во Ројал забава комплекс Бостон. All three stops will showcase top USA boxers that have won numerous international medals.
Boston’s stop, which is presented by Budweiser, will feature three World Championship medalists, Вклучувајќи 2017 Elite World Championship bronze medalist Troy Isley (Alexandra, VA.), who just earned a silver at the 2018 Strandja Tournament in Sofia, Bulgaria last month, како и 2016 Youth World Champions Delante Johnson (Кливленд, Охајо) и 2016 Youth World Championship bronze medalist Richard Torrez (Tulare, Калифорнија.). Headlining the women is Virginia Fuchs (Kemah, Тексас), who won four international gold medals in 2017 and began her 2018 with a bronze at the Strandja Tournament.
Team USA’s second dual at Springfield’s MassMutal Center on Март 15 will be headlined once again Isley and Johnson, as well as their 2017 World Championship teammate Quinton Randall (Humble, Тексас) will join them on this leg of the tour, заедно со 2017 National Champion and Continental Championship silver medalist Oshae Jones (Толедо, Охајо). Field set for 2017 USA Boxing Men’s Elite National Championships

COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO (Ноември 28, 2017) – Following a year of highly-competitive national events, US amateur boxers are set to compete in the 2017 USA Boxing Elite National Championship, Декември 5-9, in Salt Lake City, Utah.
With up to six spots in each division already secured, based on the results of the 2016 Elite National Championships, 2017 Elite Western Qualifier and 2017 Elite Eastern Qualifier, the remaining spots have been filled based on the wild-card application process to complete the field of elite boxers.
A total of 88 boxers applied for a wild card qualification with 35 allocations awarded to finalize the Elite National Championships brackets.
“With this being the first year of the new elite athlete selection process, we are excited to see the top talent in the country compete to represent Team USA in 2018,” рече Matt Johnson, USA Boxing High Performance Director. “We are looking forward to a high level of competition during these championships, and are confident that the increased competitiveness at the national stage will translate to further improvement of USA’s performance internationally on the road to Tokyo in 2020.”
