BILOXI, EM. (Maig 25, 2019) – Former super welterweight champion Austin “No ha Dubte” Truita (31-5-1, 17 KOs) battled former title challenger Terrell Gausha (21-1-1, 10 KOs) to a split draw (96-94 for Trout, 99-91 for Gausha, 95-95) in a 10-round super welterweight bout that headlined Premier Boxing Champions on FS1 and FOX Deportes on Saturday night from Beau Rivage Resort Casino in Biloxi, Mississipí.

“We need to do that again. That wasn’t right,” said Trout of Las Cruces, N.m. “Tornem a fer-ho. That was after a year layoff. Timing is going to be off. Now that I am a little more active. I need an immediate rematch. Immediate.

“You never know how the judges are seeing it, but I know 99-91 per (Gausha) wasn’t right. I was definitely in there more than one round,” continued Trout. “But I didn’t feel good in there tonight. I had to force a lot of things, and I had to close the gap in the later rounds.”

“I felt like I won the fight,” said Cleveland native Gausha. “That’s boxing sometimes. You don’t get the decision.

The opening bout on FS1 featured Ahmed Elbiali (19-1, 16 KOs), an Egyptian-American who lives in Miami, Florida, scoring a technical knockout victory over Marlos Simões (13-2-2, 5 KOs) of Curitiba, Parana, Brazil who was unable to continue due to an injured jaw. Elbiali knocked Simões to the canvas and referee Keith Hughes stopped the contest 2:12 al segon quadre.

“When he went down, I clipped him with a left hook,” Said Elbiali. “I knew right away that I could hurt him, and that hook felt like it landed well. He was a tricky and really awkward opponent, but I just went for it and got the job done.

“I don’t really like calling out individual fighters, but I feel like I’m ready for a world title shot,” continued Elbiali. “We’re getting better with every fight and I’m ready.”

The swing bout on FS1 saw Chicago’s Shawn Simpson (10-0, 3 KOs) derrota Sergio Quiroz (6-2, 1 KO) of Los Angeles by unanimous decision (60-54 X 3).

The PBC Prelims on FS2 and FOX Deportes featured hard-hitting cruiserweight prospect Efe Apochi (8-0, 8 KOs) of Nigeria continuing his perfect knockout streak as he stopped Brooklyn’s Earl Newman (10-2-1, 7 KOs) 2:17 into round seven.

The FS2 co-main event showcased a welterweight attraction with top prospect Amon Rashidi (7-0, 5 KOs) de Dallas, Texas scoring a sensational knockout over Mexico’sJuan Jesus Garces (19-25, 13 KOs) 2:12 a la quarta ronda.

Elbiali has recently began working with a new trainer in Gamber, who also trains super middleweight champion Caleb Plant, and will look to show his improvement in the ring this Saturday night. Here is what he had to say about his new trainer and more:

On training with new coach Justin Gamber:“I’ve been learning a lot since I started training with Justin Gamber, which was about six weeks ago. Nothing against my old trainers, I just felt I needed a new look. Justin and I work well together and I’ve improved tremendously. I’m learning how to relax more in the ring, which has helped me keep my power in the later rounds of sparring. Justin is a great coach and together we are going to make some noise in the light heavyweight division.”

Al seu recent camp d’entrenament:
“I’ve put in a lot of hard work for this training camp and I can see the difference compared to other camps I’ve had in the past. I’m working on the fundamentals of boxing, using my jab more and setting up my combinations. I know I have the power to knock out my opponents, but now I’m learning more how to set it up. Living and training in Las Vegas has been a big boost to my career because the sparring out here is second to none. I’m having a great training camp.”

On his matchup with Marlos Simões:
“I know Simões is a durable opponent who’s only been stopped once in his career. I’m expecting him to be in great shape. He’s had a lot of success in the ring, so I’m preparing for a guy who can really fight. I’m just going to go in there and execute my game plan.”

On when he will be ready for a world title shot:
“I want to get as many fights as possible this year and make a world title run in 2020. Per descomptat, everything is predicated fight to fight, but that is the goal.”

On making his televised return on FS1:
“Fighting on FS1 is always fun and exciting. FS1 is the platform where us fighters get the most exposure while we’re coming up. You can’t compare any other network to FOX, where the whole world can tune in. It’s truly a blessing for me to be fighting on FS1.”

PBC Prelims on FS2 and FOX Deportes will begin at 6 p.m. ET/3 p.m. PT and be headlined by Puerto Rican Olympian Carlos Negrón tenint en Daniel Martz in an eight or 10-round heavyweight match and top prospect Amon Rashidi competing in a four or six-round welterweight attraction. The 28-year-old Elbiali (18-1, 15 KOs) is coming off an exciting third round knockout victory over Allan Green on Jan. 13 en FS1. Elbiali, an Egyptian-American who lives in Miami, Florida, knocked down Green in all three rounds before scoring the victory. It was his second straight victory by knockout – the other coming against Zoltan Sera last June 10 – since losing the first fight of his career against former world champion Jean Pascal in 2017. Simões (13-1-2, 5 KOs) is coming a stoppage victory over Jefferson Luis De Sousa in December. The 30-year-old of Curitiba, Parana, Brazil suffered the only loss of his career against Manuel Ceballos last June.

After representing his native Puerto Rico at the 2008 Jocs Olímpics, Negron (20-2, 16 KOs) was unbeaten in his first 13 baralles com a professional. Now residing in Miami, the 32-year-old carried a seven-fight winning streak before losing to Dominic Breazeale in December on FOX. He will look to bounce back in his 2019 debut al maig 25. Negron will face Clarksburg, West Virginia’s Martz (18-6-1, 15 KOs), who enters this contest the winner of his last two and three of his last four outings. The 28-year-old lost to Luis Ortiz in December 2017 en FS1.

Rashidi (6-0, 4 KOs), who was born in Dallas, Texas and now lives in Desoto, is coming off an exciting TKO victory over Gabriel Gutierrez at AT&T Stadium on March 16. The 26-year-old is unbeaten since turning pro in 2015 and has scored knockouts in three of his last four fights.

An accomplished amateur from Nigeria, Apochi (7-0, 7 KOs) turned pro in the U.S. a 2017 and has racked up knockouts in each fight since. The 31-year-old trains in Houston and scored more four knockouts in 2018 abans de fer la seva 2019 debut in February and stopping Raymond Ochieng.

Truita (31-5, 17 KOs) has tangled with some of the top super welterweights of this generation, including Saul Alvarez, Erislandy Lara, Miguel Cotto, Jermell and Jermall Charlo and Jarrett Hurd. The 33-year-old from Las Cruces, Mèxic, will look to rebound from a majority decision defeat to Jermell Charlo last June. His knockout victory over Joey Hernandez in 2015 headlined the first PBC show on FS1.

“I’m excited to be back in the ring,” va dir Truita. “I’m ready to take another chop at the world title and this is my way back. I’m really motivated to get that championship belt again. Gausha is a strong, technical fighter with an Olympic pedigree. I’ve got to get in there and take care of him and look good doing it. A good win over him will get me right back in the mix.”

Gausha, de 31 anys (21-1, 10 KOs), a member of the 2012 U.S. Olympic boxing team from Cleveland, Ohio, will look to put himself back into title contention with a victory over Trout. He came up short in his first title fight against Erislandy Lara, losing a unanimous decision in 2017, before rebounding with a knockout victory over Joey Hernandez in his last fight in December.

“I feel good about this fight and I think it’s the perfect fight for me,” va dir Gausha. “With Austin Trout being a former champion and having experience fighting all the top guys in the division, it gives me a chance to show where I’m at. It’s not only about winning, but it’s the way I’ll win that will put people on notice.”

Booker (14-0, 7 KOs) is coming off a unanimous decision victory over Juan De Angel in January on FS1. The 27-year-old southpaw from Stamford, Conn., was busy in 2018, anant 5-0 amb tres nocauts. Booker is very active in his Stamford community as well, running his charity for at-risk youth and training amateurs for the Golden Gloves.

“My expectations for myself are to put on the best performance I’ve had in boxing period – amateur or pro,” said Booker. “I’m looking to showcase every ability that I have, not just brute strength. I want to show people that I’m championship caliber. What I see from him is that he’s a game fighter and comes to fight. He likes to come forward. He’s going to try to take it to me. But I can do a lot of things, box going forward, backwards, sideways, or anything it will take to get this win.”

The 33-year-old Omotoso (27-3, 21 KOs) is a hard-nosed veteran who will present Booker with his toughest test to date. Born in Lagos, Nigèria, Omotoso learned to fight in the streets before honing his skills in the boxing gym. He calls himself “Suertudo” because he feels fortunate to have made it off the streets alive and become a successful professional boxer. Now training in Los Angeles, Omotoso most recently defeated Freddy Hernandez in December 2017.

“I got the call to fight a young, undefeated fighter in Booker and I said bring it on,” said Omotoso. “I’m really happy he took the fight because most people say I’m too dangerous and too tough. I will give it all I got. When I go to the ring I put all my effort and training into the fight. That’s the way this sport is. I know he’s going to come in with all he’s got, but the toughest man will win.”

Stanionis (8-0, 5 KOs) is from Kaunas, Lithuania and was a member of the 2016 Lithuanian Olympic boxing team. The 24-year-old, who now lives in Oxnard, Califòrnia, and trains with Ronnie Shields in Texas, is on the fast track toward being a top contender. He’s continued to impress with victories over durable veterans Levan Ghvamichava and Samuel Figueroa in his last two bouts.

BILOXI, Senyoreta. (Abril 6, 2019) – Former UFC veteran Artem Lobov defeated former UFC veteran and Mississippi native Jason Knight per decisió unànime (48-47 X 2, 48-46) to win the main event of “BKFC 5: Lobov vs. cavaller” in a Fight of The Year candidate on Saturday night at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum in Biloxi, Senyoreta. and live on pay-per-view.

Knight started off fast, knocking down Lobov just 10 seconds in to round one. No obstant això, Lobov quickly popped up and came back to knock down Knight later in the first frame, again in round two, and for a third time in round three. The fourth and fifth stanzas showcased furious exchanges with both fighters leaving every ounce of themselves in the ring.

“I thought he was conquered many times,” said Lobov. “I dropped him three or four times. És un dur, tough kid. He kept coming and coming. That was a great fight.”

Ferea had Hart in trouble midway through the second round as referee Dan Miragliotta called for time to have Hart’s severely bloodied and bruised left eye checked. The ringside physician stopped the contest moments later at 1:09 in to the second round.

“I’m the first woman to ever have this belt,” said Ferea. “I’m going to rep it strong and I’m super happy right now. The first round I was feeling (Hart) a fora. “Estar al gimnàs cada dia m'emociona. D'aquesta manera, Em sento renéixer mentalment. Estic segur que hi haurà dies difícils, però això és normal per al curs. Crec que mentalment pots trobar la motivació que t'estimuli a perseguir determinats objectius.

“Vaig començar a parlar amb David Feldman primer sobre estar involucrat en l'aspecte de la transmissió de BKFC. Però després em va llançar números per lluitar que em van cridar l'atenció. Un cop superem la primera part de la conversa, les coses van començar a avançar i aquí estem.

“Sempre hi ha ajustos a fer en una nova disciplina pel que fa a com llançaràs i rebràs cops de puny.. Farem petits ajustaments, però la teva base és la teva base. La meva base és la boxa i ens quedarem amb les coses que volem.

“Sóc un lluitador real i lluitaré contra Paulie en una lluita real. Vull guanyar diners per això. Ell sap que estic avall. Si ets un veritable lluitador, lluitem al ring.

“Siguem sincers, Paulie no vol barallar-se amb mi al carrer, perquè sap que el trencaria en segons. Però vull demostrar-me a mi mateix al ring de boxa. Per això estic fent això. Vull que Paulie estigui a salvo fins el dia que per fi pugui posar-li les mans a sobre.

A 32-year-old fighter from Russia, Lobov made his name on Season 22 de The Ultimate Fighter as part of Team McGregor, where he worked his way to the finals of the tournament before losing to Ryan Hall. He challenged Cub Swanson in a UFC main event in 2016, after picking up victories over Chris Avila and Alex White. While he lost his last three UFC bouts by decision, he owns 13 professional MMA wins and will take that experience into BKFC action.

Representing his hometown of D’lberville, Mississipí, Knight has a 20-6 professional MMA record since turning pro in MMA at just seventeen-years-old. He made his UFC debut in 2015 when he stepped in on two weeks’ notice to face Tatsuya Kawajiri in the Ultimate Fighter 22 finale, dropping a unanimous decision. Knight went on to win his next four UFC bouts between July 2016 and May 2017. He then lost four consecutive contests, the final three coming by decision.

“No crec que fos una decisió dividida,” va dir Rawlings. “Quan vaig iniciar la sessió per lluitar per BKFC, ens van enviar les regles i em van dir que no podreu sortir del vostre oponent. “Em va aconseguir amb alguns bons trets, una mena de darrere del meu cap que em va enderrocar, Però només vaig tornar a aparèixer i vaig seguir lluitant,” Va afegir Shewmaker. “La derrota no em va molestar realment, Acabo de colpejar una mica de balanç. Em vaig sentir bé poc després.”

 

 

 

Les victòries de Adams i Shewmaker van establir les finals del torneig de pes pesat amb la parella que s'espera que s'enfrontin a BKFC 3.

Al juny 2, 2018, Campionat de lluita de Knuckle Bare Knuckle amb seu a Filadèlfia (BKFC) va fer la història de l’esport de combat quan va promoure el primer legal, Des de llavors els Estats Units van sancionar i regular els nusos nusos als Estats Units 1889. “BKFC 1: El començament” va tenir lloc a Cheyenne, Wyoming i destacat 10 baralles professionals, Tot sota els auspicis i el control de la Comissió Esportiva Combativa de Wyoming.

 

 

 

BKFC només utilitza combatents establerts que anteriorment han competit professionalment en boxa, MMA, Kickboxing i/o Muay Thai. Tots els atacs de BKFC estan sancionats i regulats per les comissions atlètiques del membre ABC.
