SANTA MONICA, Califòrnia. (Abril 5, 2016) – A duo of Bellator MMA’s top welterweights, Chidi “Chidi Bang Bang” Njokuani (14-4) i Douglas “The Phenom” Lima (26-6), will square off in the co-main event of "Bellator 156: Galvao vs.. Dantas 2 " a Juny 17 dins de Save Mart Center a Fresno, Califòrnia.

“Chidi Bang Bang” has not lost in his past six fights dating back to March of 2013 and finished last year strong, recording a unanimous decision victory overRicky “The Sniper” Rainey in his Bellator MMA debut at "Bellator 146: Kato vs. Manhoef.” The 27-year-old Las Vegas native is now looking to solidify himself atop Bellator’s always-competitive welterweight division when he takes on “The Phenom” in the co-main event of "Bellator 156: Galvao vs.. Dantas 2.”

Douglas Lima will be entering the cage for the 11º temps sota l'estendard Bellator MMA, having already won eight of his 10 bouts with the Viacom-owned organization. MULVANE, Maig. (Febrer 26, 2015) – A week removed from the most watched Bellator MMA event in company history, the Scott Coker-led promotion returned to action on SPIKE with "Bellator 150: Kongo vs. Queiroz,” an event that delivered five spectacular main card fights.

MULVANE, Maig. (Febrer 25, 2015) – Over the course of fight week, Marcos "Loro" Galvao (17-6-1) has been battling an illness. After consulting physicians, Bellator officials have decided to to pull him from his Bellator MMA Bantamweight Title defense against former champion Eduardo Dantas (17-4).

 

After making weight inside Kansas Star Arena at 10 a.m. Connecticut, Dantas was paid his show money. The fight will be rescheduled in the near future.

 

Com a resultat, Cheick Kongo (23-10-2) contra Vinicius Queiroz (8-3) will now serve as the headliner and David Rickels (16-4) versus Bobby Cooper (12-5) is the new co-main event.
