The 23-year-old Batara of Las Vegas, Nevada, a former high school cheerleader turned grappling expert, is coming off a stellar, segona ronda (3:46) submission of 12-time Spanish national judo champion Vanessa Rico at “Combate Clasico” in Miami, Fla. a Juliol 27.
