Nova York (Desembre 5, 2018) – Some of the biggest names in boxing will be on display as Ring 8 will host their annual Holiday and Awards Ceremony at Russo’s on the Bay (162-45 Cross Bay Blvd, Howard Beach, Nova York 11414) a partir de les 12:30 p.m. and lasting to 5:30 p.m.

Highly ranked heavyweight contender, Jarrell “Beu Gran” Miller will be honored with the New York State Fighter of the Year.

WBA Super Middleweight champion Alicia Napoleon won the New York State Female Fighter of the Year.

Has lluitat al pes supermitjà 168 i recentment en pes mitjà 160 lliura. Com és la teva formació, dieta i qualsevol altre esforç diferent a fer 160?

 

 

 

Entrenar sempre és dur i estic aprenent constantment. Aquest campament he tingut una dieta completament diferent: un canvi real i positiu per a mi. M'he unit amb Perfecting Athletes per als meus àpats diaris, i em sento genial. Sempre he intentat menjar sa, però aquestes persones són professionals i són més educades en aquest camp que jo mateix. Tinc aquesta beguda màgica que em fa somriure l'estómac: m'encanta! És síndria barrejada amb una verdura verda. No et diré de quina verdura és, però l'he begut cada dia, i em sento genial.

 

El vostre nombre d'espectadors ha estat molt fort. Per què creus que la gent se sent atreta per tu??

 

 

 

Crec que la gent se sent atreta per com sóc real i honest, tant dins com fora del ring. Dic el que vull dir i vull dir el que dic. Sóc dur però també tinc un costat suau. I crec que la gent està atreta per com lluito — no només parlo un bon joc sinó que lluito contra el meu a– apagat també! jo dono 1000% cada vegada: vull canviar el joc i portar una nova generació de fans a la boxa i la boxa femenina en general.

 

Què saps de la teva oponent Hannah Rankin??

 

 

 

Sé que el meu oponent Rankin és molt dur i està decidit a ser campió del món. M'agrada la seva conducció, M'agrada el seu cor. Sé que ha estat al ring com a companya de sparring de molts campions, una és Christina Hammer. Així que Rankin ha vist alguns bons lluitadors. Però una cosa és segura: mai no ha vist un lluitador com jo. I com que Hammer no va poder lluitar per la seva condició mèdica, En molts aspectes, el millor és lluitar i vèncer al seu company d'entrenador i deixar que Rankin li digui a Hammer què està fent quan torni.!

 

Què cal fer per resoldre la crisi de l'aigua de Flint?

 

 

Per resoldre el sílex Crisi de l'aigua, Crec que la gent hauria de seguir donant aigua i també mantenir-la a la notícia que hi ha una ciutat a Amèrica on, increïblement, Els ciutadans nord-americans no tenen aigua neta. Quin és el secret per convertir-se en el millor dels millors en qualsevol esport??

 

 

 

Crec que el secret comença per creure en tu mateix, sent dedicat, treballant dur i esforçant-se sempre per ser millor. Sento que sóc el meu crític més gran quan entreno i boxo. És difícil veure pel·lícules de les meves baralles perquè tot i que ho estic fent 97 les coses són correctes, no suporto veure-les 3 coses que estic fent malament. Sóc una persona que s'esforça per treure tot el meu potencial. Es necessita coratge per ser genial. Res no impedirà assolir els meus objectius, que inclou ser el GWOAT i crear igualtat per a totes les dones lluitadores quan es tracta de diners, oportunitats i cobertura que reben els homes.

Jesse Angel Hernandez Cements Himself as a Super Bantamweight Contender with Impressive Unanimous Decision Over Glenn Dezurn

The Fort Worth, Texas, super bantamweight express named Jesse Angel Hernandez continued to pick up momentum last Saturday night, as he took his second consecutive undefeated record away, this time from Baltimore’s Glenn Dezurn.
Fighting on the Danny Jacobs vs. Luis Arias i Jarrell Miller vs.. Mariusz Wach undercard at Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Uniondale, Nova York, Hernández (ara 10-1, 7 KOs) used his height and reach advantages to maximum effect while scoring an eight-round unanimous decision over Dezurn (ara 9-1-1, 6 KOs).
Despite a game showing from Dezurn, 26-year-old Hernandez was able to keep Dezurn at bay while landing long power shots. When Dezurn was able to make it inside, Hernandez would simply push him back. While both fighters say this fight will be just another day at the office, Hernandez’s promoter, Dmitriy Salita, says there is considerably more on the line for both men.

BROOKLYN (Juliol 30, 2017) – Campió del món de tres divisions Mikey García kept his undefeated record intact with a dominant 12-round performance against four-division world champion Adrien Broner en l'esdeveniment principal de SHOWTIME CHAMPIONSHIP BOXING, Saturday on SHOWTIME from Barclays Center, la casa de BROOKLYN BOXA®.
In what could be considered one of the best performances of his career, García (37-0, 30 Nocauts) won a unanimous decision by scores of 117-111 i 116-112 dues vegades.
“Entrenem per 10 setmanalment, we had a great training camp and great sparring, we knew it was going to be a tough fight,” va dir Garcia.
Garcia took the lead early on, showcasing fundamentally sound technique and backing Broner into the ropes midway through the second frame. A flurry of body shots put Broner in trouble in the second round. While Broner was able to stay on his feet, Garcia emerged with another round in his favor.
“I think I controlled the fight in the early rounds and I kept the activity up,” va dir Garcia. “Broner is a great fighter and he has great skills but I was the superior fighter aquesta nit.”
Garcia showed a combination of jabs, power punches and body shots all night long. He cornered Broner on the ropes with a huge left hook halfway through the third frame, and backed him in to the ropes again with 39 seconds remaining in the round. While Broner showed some movement in the fourth round and hit Garcia with a succession of 1-2 combinations, Garcia’s bodywork kept Broner at bay.
“It was part of the strategy to be a little busier in this fight than in the fights I have previously had,” va dir Garcia.
Broner (33-3, 24 KOs) looked to get back in the fight as he started the eighth round with a succession of sharp combinations, however his lack of consistency couldn’t withstand Garcia’s phenomenal body shots and overall punch output. Through eight rounds, Garcia had thrown a total of 500 cops, while Broner had just thrown 291.
“It was a good fight at the end of the day, I come to fight I come to win and I put my heart on the line,” va dir Broner. “But it was Tom & Jerry; I had to catch the mouse.”
Although Garcia had amassed an early lead from the first three-quarters of the fight, Broner continued to walk through heavy fire from Garcia in an attempt to connect with a big punch and change the tide of the fight. While he was able to ignite the crowd and land several big punches over the final three rounds, none of it proved to be enough to slow down Garcia.
“It was my timing, I’ve always said I have very good timing,” va dir García. “It is underestimated when you are outside the ring but once you get inside the ring with me, I’m a step ahead.”

Heiland, of Buenos Aires, Argentina, had issues with his left leg after injuring his knee in the first round. His discomfort was clear in his awkward footwork and lack of power behind his punches. Referee Benjy Esteves had the doctor examine him twice throughout the fight, once before the third round and then again before the fourth.
“I turned my left knee in the first round, but I did not want to give up,” said Heiland. “Vaig tractar de donar tot de mi, but it was not my night. I had bad luck but I am going to work harder than ever to get back and get another opportunity to achieve my dream and win a world title.”

With this win, Charlo becomes a mandatory challenger for the WBC Middleweight World Championship.
“I’m ready for anyone. I’m ready for whoever wants to fight me,” Charlo added. “Bring on the biggest names at 160. I’m the real Tommy Hearns. I feel it’s my turn and I’m going to go get it.”

“It was a fantastic experience being my first time competing here in the U.S,” va dir Taylor. “There were definitely some nerves before the fight. It was great to go in there and get a stoppage.
“I hope that I made some fans aquesta nit. I loved hearing the Irish fans in the crowd. I hope that there will be even more next time I fight here. The more fights I have here in the U.S. la millor.

“I feel really good at this weight. Now it’s time for me to go get a strap. I haven’t been at this weight since the Olympics. I want to get these titles and then go down to 112 pounds for another title. First I want to take care of Jerwin Ancajas.”
