NAZRAN, Ingushetia, Rusland (December 9, 2016) – Rising Russian MMA star Magomed Idriosov knocked out Ivan “Dette er den” Buchinger in the opening round of aftenens M-1 Challenge 73: Slaget ved Narts main event to become M-1 Challenge bantamweight champion.
I co-feature, M-1 Challenge middleweight champion Ramazan Emeev won a hard fought three-round split decision over Anatoly Tokov in Ingushetia, Rusland.
Feared as a striker, Idrisov ((7-0-0, M-1: 4-0-0) lived up to his reputation and remained undefeated as a professional, putting Buchinger to sleep with a devastating punch in round one. I sin 2013 MMA debut, Idrisov knocked out current M-1 Challenge lightweight champion Alexander Butenko in a non-M-1 Global fight. The Russian is now undefeated in four M-1 Global fights having previously defeated Yuri Maia (KO1 – punches) in the M-1 Challenge 49 Knockout of the Night, Max Coga (DEC3) and Sergej Grecicho (DEC3) in his last fight September 20, 2015 på M-1 Challenge 51.
Idrisov (R) put Buchinger to sleep to become M-1 Challenge Featherweight champion

Undefeated Russian Moysar Evoloev remained undefeated (6-0-0, M-1: 6-0-0) by taking a three-round unanimous decision over American Lee “Amerikanske Bulldog” Morrison (15-8-0, M-1: 2-5-0) at a 140-pound (63.5 kg) catchweight.
Russian lightweight Khamzat Dalgiev (8-1-0, M-1: 5-1-0), fighting at home in Ingushetia, chocked British-invader Christian “The Animal” Holley (10-3-0, M-1: 0-1-0) into a submission in the second round.
Closing out the Main Card, American bantamweight “The Punisher” Josh Berigtigelse House (14-4-0, M-1: 2-0-0) stopped his Kazakh opponent, Sergey Morozov (6-2-0, M-1: 3-2-0), i første runde.

Morrison (15-7-0, M-1: 2-4-0) and Rettinghouse (13-4-0, M-1: 1-0-0) are both fighting out of the state of Washington.
Morrison faces undefeated Russian prospect Moysar Evoloev (5-0-0, M-1: 5-0-0) in a fight contested at a 140-pounds (63.5 kg) catchweight. Morrison is a grappler (see photo below with him in top position) who defeated current M-1 Challenge bantamweight title-holder Pavel Vitruk by decision at M-1 Challenge 58.
Fighting at home in Ingushetia, Evloev is also a grappler who is coming off a first-round knockout of Alexander Krupenkin this past May at M-1 Challenge 66 (afbilledet nedenfor).
Rettinghouse, den King of the Cage mester, tager på Sergey Morozov (6-1-0, M-1: 3-1-0) in a bantamweight with future title implications for the winner.
A submission master who has a strong Brazilian Ju-Jitsu background, Rettinghouse is coming off his successful M-1 Global debut this past May at M-1 Challenge 66, in which Rettinghouse stopped Vadim Zhloboch in the opening round due to an injury.
Morozov, fighting out of Kazakhstan, is an outstanding striker and well-rounded MMA fighter. He was on the wrong end of the M-1 Challenge 68 Fight of the Night last July in a loss by decision to Rafael Dias.
På M-1 Challenge 59, Morozov (afbilledet nedenfor) was awarded the Knockout of the Night award for his demolishing of Andy Young a year ago July.
An impressive victory will position the Rettinghouse-Morozov winner for a potential M-1 Challenge bantamweight title fight with defending champion Vitruk.

The previously announced main event is a super showdown between M-1 Challenge middleweight champion Ramadan Emeev (14-3-0, M-1: 8-1-0) and knockout specialist Anatoly Tokov (24-2-0, M-1: 9-1-0).

Buchinger (31-4-0, M-1: 6-0-0), kæmper ud af Slovakiet, is riding a 10-fight win streak into M-1 Challenge 73 since he lost to Conor McGregor i 2012. He captured the vacant M-1 Challenge title October 17, 2014 på M-1 Challenge 52, standsning Tural Nizami (se billedet nedenfor) in the fourth round on punches in their Fight of the Night. Buchinger made a successful title defense 13 months ago at M-1 Challenge 62, taking a 5-round unanimous decision over Mansour Korobkov. BAKU, Aserbajdsjan (Juni 5, 2016) — Ukrainian fighter Alexander Butenko won a hard fought 5-round decision over Artiom Damkovsky last night to become the new M-1 Challenge lightweight champion in the M-1 Challenge 67 main event in Baku, Aserbajdsjan.
Butenko (41-11-2) and Damkovsky (20-10-0) battled from start to finish with Buntenko winning a unanimous decision to capture the vacant M-1 Challenge lightweight title.
I co-feature, M-1 Challenge fjerlette mester John “Dette er den” Buchinger (31-4-0), of Slovakia, used a North-South choke to submit his late replacement opponent, Russisk Mikhail Korobkov (9-2-0), i en kamp uden titel.
Red-hot Kazakh welterweight Shavat Rakhmonov (6-0-0) kept rolling, knocking out Brazilian Marcelo Brito (13-8-0) i åbningen runde. Hometown favorit Etigat Adakishniev (1-1-0) won his first professional fight, submitting Spaniard Adrian Perez (3-2-0) by way of a guillotine choke.
Czech Republic had two winners on the main card as middleweight Talekh Nadzhafadz (5-1-0) won a 3-round decision over his Spanish opponent, Felipe “Biggi” Nsue (11-10-0), while heavyweight Zauer Gadzhibabayev (5-1-0) used a rear naked choke to submit Bulgarian Lazar Todev (2-3-0).

Mikhail Korobkov (9-1-1, M-1: 0-1-1), Rusland, is the late replacement for Idrisov but, due to Korobkov coming off of a loss in his last fight (decision to Timur Nagibin last Friday atM-1 Challenge 66), his fight versus Buchinger (30-4-0, M-1: 5-0-0) is a not for the title and it has been downgraded from main event to co-feature. Buchinger, kæmper ud af Slovakiet, has won his last nine fights dating back four years.

ST. PETERSBURG, Rusland (Maj 5, 2016) – M-1 Global has announced that M-1 Challenge featherweight champion John “Dette er den” Buchinger will defend his title against undefeated challenger Magomed Idrisov, hovednavn M-1 Challenge 67, Juni 4 at Baku, Aserbajdsjan.
Also announced is a fight between undefeated Kazakh welterweight prospect Shavkat Rakjmonov and Brazilian veteran Carlos Alexandre “Indio” Pære.

Buchinger (30-4-0, M-1: 5-0-0), fighting out of his native Slovakia, captured the vacant M-1 Challenge featherweight title 1-½ years ago at M-1 Challenge 52, standsning Tural Nizami (se billedet nedenfor) in the fourth round on punches. His lone title defense last October was a decision win over current M-1 Challenge lightweight championMansour Barnaoui på M-1 Challenge 62. Undefeated in his last nine fights, dating back four years, Buchinger is 5-0 i M-1 Global konkurrence.
Fighting out of Russia, Idrisov (6-0-0, M-1: 3-0-0) is the European Wu-Sanda champion. He has three wins in M-1 Global fights, including a pair of notable decisions over Max Coga maj sidste år på M-1 Challenge 57, and in his last fight this past December against Sergei Grecicho (se billedet nedenfor) ved M-1 Challenge 61.

Pære, 37, won Submission of the Night in his only M-1 Global fight to date, last September against Ruslan Zhemuklkov (se billedet nedenfor) på M-1 Challenge 61.

M-1 Global extends contracts with Ivan Buchinger, Stephen Puetz & Lee Morrison

PETERSBURG, Rusland (Januar 27, 2016) – M-1 Global præsident Vadim Finklechtein has announced contract extensions for M-1 featherweight championJohn “Dette er den” Buchinger, former M-1 Challenge light heavyweight titlist Stephan “T-800” Puetz and top American featherweight contender Lee “Amerikanske Bulldog” Morrison.
“We’ve prolonged the contract with M-1 Global veteran fighters Buchinger, Puetz and Morrison,” Finkelchtein said. “We constantly work on our roster to have the best possible fighters.”
Buchinger (30-4-0, M-1: 5-0-0), the 29-year-old from Slovakia, captured the vacant M-1 Challenge featherweight title in 2014, via a fourth-round knockout of Tural Raginov på M-1 Challenge 52. In his last fight this past October, Buchinger successfully defended his title with a unanimous decision over current M-1 Challenge lightweight champion Mansour “Tarzan” Barnaoui på M-1 Challenge 62.
Puetz (13-2-0, M-1: 4-1-0), fighting out of Germany, is an electrifying fighter who won the M-1 Challenge light heavyweight champion in 2014, træffe en afgørelse fraViktor Nemkov på M-1 Challenge 46. Barnaoui (12-3-0, M-1: 2-2-0), kæmper ud af Paris, will be making his first title defense against a dangerous challenger.
