Emelianenko has established Team Fedor, which features several top Russian fighters including BELLATOR’s Light Heavyweight World Champion Vadim Nemkov and BELLATOR’s Interim Heavyweight Champion Valentin Moldavsky. Fans of international boxing can wake up to boxing for brunch this Søndag, Juni 27, på 9:00 am ET (6:00 am PT), som Salita Kampagner proudly presents another marathon 14-fight matinee of Russian boxing on their popular YOUTUBE CHANNEL, free of charge from the Soviet Wings Sport Palace in Moscow, Rusland. 30-year-old Potapov has bounced back nicely from his highly controversial “loss” to fellow contender Josh Greer by scoring two big victories, inklusive hans sidste udflugt, a shutout unanimous decision over Ukraine’s then 16-2 Oleksandr Hryshchuk in December 2020 i Moskva. In his 11-year career, Potapov has already held the WBA Asia and WBO NABO Bantamweight Championships.


“I look forward to returning to the ring and putting on an exciting performance for my fans in Moscow and worldwide,” said Potapov, who has steadily moved back into contention for another big fight, whether a rematch against Greer or a challenge of one of the division’s champions.

NUR-SULTAN, Kasakhstan (Oktober 20, 2019) – Kazakh Power was on display at yesterday’sM-1 Challenge 105, in Nur-Sultan, Kasakhstan, in which they won five of six fights, including a pair of M-1 Challenge titles, and a draw.

In the main event and a rematch, Sergey Morozov (16-4), Kasakhstan, fended off American challengerJosh “The Finisher” Rettinghouse (16-5), winning a five-round unanimous decision to successfully defend his M-1 Challenge bantamweight title.

Morozov won his fifth straight and sixth fight in his last seven since his original match and loss to Rettinghouse. Morozov captured the M-1 Challenge bantamweight title last June atM-1 Challenge 102, also held in Nur-Sultan, when he stopped previously unbeatenalexander Osetrov i fjerde runde.

Almabaev (11-2), fighting out of Kazakhstan, was a relatively late replacement for his fellow countryman, former M-1 Challenge Interim flyweight championArman Ashimov, who was forced to withdraw due to an injury suffered during training camp.

Improving his M-1 Global record to 3-0, Almabaev took a five-round unanimous decision from Kelades, who was making his first title defense. Almabaev has positioned himself for a showdown with undisputed M-1 Challenge flyweight titlistAlexander Doskalchuk, who is recovering from an injury.

SHENZHEN, Porcelæn (August 4, 2019) – Canadian mixed-martial arts fighter Chris Kelades became the M-1 Challenge Interim flyweight champion by taking a decision from Alexander Pletenko last night at WKG and M-1 Challenge 103 in Shenzhen, Porcelæn.

M-1 Challenge “regular” flyweight championAlexander Doskalchuk was supposed to defend his title atM-1 Challenge 103 against Kelades, dog, the champ suffered an injury that forced Doskalchuk to withdraw.

Pletenko versus Kelades was a rematch of a fight back in June, 2018, in which Pletenko won a decision atM-1 Challenge 93.  Pletenko, dog, came in overweight and he was ineligible to win the title.

This true International MMA event included 20 professional fighters from 10 different countries: Rusland, Porcelæn, U.S.A, Brasilien, Ukraine, Canada, Aserbajdsjan, Sverige, Georgia and Germany.

The judges were busy all night as eight of the 10 fights went the complete distance.

I main event, Kelades (14-4) and Pletenko (14-5) battled tooth and nail with the Canadian avenging his earlier loss with a five-round unanimous decision to his Ukrainian opponent.

Chinese fighters had won only one of four fights going into the final match of the evening, in which fan favoriteHuoyixibai Chuhayifo (12-3) sent everybody home happy, knocking out Georgian bantamweightBeno Adamia (5-5) with a punch in the opening round.

LOS ANGELES — Bellator is proud to announce that Russian MMA great Fedor Emelianenko (38-6, 1 NC) has signed an exclusive multi-fight contract extension to finish his career inside the Bellator cage.



Emelianenko’s farewell tour continues in Bellator’s stacked heavyweight division on the heels of a finals run during the promotion’s eight-man Heavyweight World Grand Prix.Fighting out of Stary Oskol, Belgorod Oblast, Rusland, “The Last Emperor” recently earned first-round knockouts over Chael Sonnen og Frank Mir in the tourney’s semifinals and opening round, henholdsvis.



“I am pleased that we were able to sign Fedor, the greatest heavyweight of all time, to a new contract extension,” Bellator President Scott Coker said. “He is someone that I consider a friend in this business and am even more pleased that he has decided to finish his storied career with Bellator. With a career resume that stands as one of the most impressive in the history of the sport that includes victories over Antônio Rodrigo Nogueira, Mirko Cro Cop, Mark Hunt, Mark Coleman and Andrei Arlovski, at nævne et par. The 30-year-old Landwehr (11-2-0, M-1: 3-0-0), fighting out of the Nashville suburb of Clarksville, Tennessee, captured the coveted M-1 Challenge featherweight title belt this past June at M-1 Challenge 95 in Nazran, Ingushetia, Rusland. The entertaining American fighter stopped defending champion Khamzat Dalgiev om slag i anden runde. “I would love to have a tournament with all the contenders. We’d all fight multiple times on one night against everyone and the last man standing is crowned King. Men, for nu, I will fight who M-1 feels is the next contender. If you have a problem with that, then it means you are not as impressive as a fighter as you think. Because I convinced them in two fights that I was the one for the job and I got the job done in my third (M-1) kamp.
Fighting out of Ukraine, Lezhnev (18-7-0, M-1; 6-3-0) earned this title shot by winning nine of his last 10 slagsmål, including the last three in a row. His victims include another U.S., Lee “Amerikanske Bulldog” Morrison, who lost a unanimous decision to Lezhnev at M-1 Challenge 69 i 2016.

“Landwehr is a typical brawler with nice cardio,” Lezhnev commented. “Everybody who plays by his rules loses. He is also very provocative, he loves creating the hype around him. NAZRAN, Ingushetia, Rusland (November 17, 2018) – The first and only M-1 Challenge flyweight champion, Aleksander Doskalchuk, made his second successful title defense last night in the M-1 Challenge 99, main event, when he decisioned his Finnish challenger, Mikael “Hulk” Sila, at Nazran in the Republic of Ingushetia in Russia.
Doskalchuk (10-1-0), kæmper ud af Ukraine, made his first title defense against then-Interim M-1 Challenge titlist Arman Ashimov, who Doskalchuk defeated this past June at M-1 Challenge 92, when his opponent suffered a hand injury and was unable to continue in the third round.

I co-featured begivenhed, Brasiliansk sværvægter Klidson Farias de Abreau (14-2-0) turned in an impressive M-1 debut, using a straight armbar to force his Russian foe, Anton “Cherepovets Giant” Vyazigin (11-3-0), into submission in the second round. Abreau usually fights in the light heavyweight division, but he took on heavyweight Vyazigin, who was coming off a no-contest fight against living legend Sergey Kharitonov.
