Oscar Cantu vs. Aston Palicte Twin-title fight headlines Dec. 17º “Knockout Night at the D” targeta

LAS VEGAS (Desembre 1, 2016) – A super flyweight twin-title fight between undefeated Iscar Cantú i “Fort” Aston Palicte headlines the final 2016 installment of the popular “Knockout Night at the D” sèrie en dissabte nit, Desembre 17, serà transmès en viu (7 p.m. PT / 10 p.m. I) a CBS Sports Network from inside the El centre de Las Vegas Events Center instal·lació interior, situat al cor del districte de casinos del centre de Las Vegas, a una quadra del famós carrer Fremont (200 S. 3rd St.).

Cantu will defend his North American Boxing Federation (NABF) super flyweight title against Palicite. The vacant World Boxing Organization (OMB) Inter-Continental super flyweight championship will also be contested in the 10-round main event.
“The Cantu-Palicte fight is a classic match-up between a boxer and puncher,” Roy Jones Jr. Boxing Promotions co-founder/CEO Keith Veltre dit. “It’s for two title belts and the winner will be positioned for a possible world title shot in 2017. Our final event of the year promises to be our best yet with evenly matched, entertaining fights that our ‘Knockout Night at the D’ series is known for with de demà stars up-and-down the card.”

The 25-year-old Cantu (14-0, 1 KO), fighting out of Kingsville, Texas, is a pure boxer who is the reigning North American Boxing Federation (NABF) campió, No s'ha classificat. 3 by the WBO North American Boxing Organization (TAMBÉ) i n. 6 by the NABA. Palicte, who will be making his US debut Dec. 17 having resettled in Los Angeles, where he’s training at the famed Wild Card Gym, to enhance his boxing career. Palicte has fought only once outside of his native Philippines as a professional. He has an experience advantage over Cantu in terms of fighting higher quality opponents. Live Coverage To Be Available Octubre. 1Exclusively To U.S. Boxing Fans Starting At12:45 p.m. I
Austin, TX (Set. 27, 2016) – FloSports today announced it has agreed to terms with MP & Silva, an international sports marketing agency, for the live media rights in the United States to the WBA Light Heavyweight title fight Octubre. 1 between Juergen Braehmer (48-2) and Nathan Cleverly (29-3). The fight in Hamburg, Alemanya, començarà a les 12:45 p.m. I between Braehmer, the current title holder, and the former champion Cleverly. The event will stream on FloBoxing.tv.

The main event will be the seventh defense of Braehmer’s WBA regular light heavyweight world title. It is the first title opportunity for Cleverly since being defeated for the WBO title by Sergey Kovalev in August of 2013. The promotion is presented by Team Sauerland.

The German-born Braehmer has won 17 consecutive fights since his last loss in 2008, while British-born Cleverly is coming off a “la baralla de l'any” performance in a narrow defeat to Andrzej Fonfara in October 2015. The two fighters were originally scheduled to meet in 2011, but Braehmer was forced to withdraw after suffering a cut in sparring.

A win for either fighter would put them in the conversation for potential unification fights with either WBC champion Adonis Stevenson or the winner of November’s Andre Ward vs. Sergey Kovalev matchup.

Live coverage of the Braehmer vs. Cleverly fight will follow the undercard fight between WBA Intercontinental Light Heavyweight champion Enrico Koelling (21-1) and contender Ryno Liebenberg (17-3).

After the conclusion of the card in Germany, FloBoxing will be live streaming an eight-fight card from Grand Casino in Hinckley, De., that is headlined by a fight between two of America’s top cruiserweights in Atlanta’s Brian Howard (11-1) and Minneapolis’ Phil Williams (15-8-2).

En Octubre. 14, FloBoxing will live stream the WBO International Cruiserweight title fight between Noel Gevor (21-0) and Mirko Larghetti (24-2).
