DETROIT (JULI 15, 2025) – Embodying the Detroit fighting spirit, Harrison boasts a highly decorated career that spans over fourteen years. Boxing is in Harrison’s blood as he is a third-generation professional fighter. His grandfather, Henry Hank, fought from 1955 till 1972 and retired with a record of 62-31-4, 40 Kos. Henry’s son, Ali Salaam – Harrison’s father and former trainer, now deceased – was a professional welterweight who fought from 1984 till 1989 and retired with a record of 11-6, 5 Kos.

QUINCY, Mäss. (Januari 26, 2022) – I lördags kväll i Detroit, Atlanta mellanvikt Antonio Todd, Jr. registrerade sin karriäravgörande seger, upprörde World Boxing Council (WBC) LÅT BLI. 10-betygsatt Hugo "The Boss" Centeno, Jr. genom ett 10-ronders majoritetsbeslut i huvudevenemanget.

WBO #3 och IBF #7 Bantamweight Nikolai Potapov Continues Campaign to Meet and Defeat ‘The Monster’ by Taking on Tanzania’s Oscar Richard


Fans of international boxing can wake up to boxing for brunch this Söndag, Juni 27, vid 9:00 am ET (6:00 är PT), som Salita kampanjer proudly presents another marathon 14-fight matinee of Russian boxing on their popular YOUTUBE CHANNEL, free of charge from the Soviet Wings Sport Palace in Moscow, Ryssland. Händelsen, entitled “Fight and Win” and presented by Shamo Boxing in association with Salita Promotions, will feature a rugged eight-round battle between WBO #3 och IBF #7 bantamvikt Nikolai Potapov (22-2-1, 11 Kos), av Podolsk, Ryssland, nu bosatt i Brooklyn, and Dar-Es-Salaam, Tanzania’s Oscar Richard (7-3-1, 2 Kos).

30-year-old Potapov has bounced back nicely from his highly controversial “loss” to fellow contender Josh Greer by scoring two big victories, including his last outing, a shutout unanimous decision over Ukraine’s then 16-2 Oleksandr Hryshchuk in December 2020 i Moskva. In his 11-year career, Potapov has already held the WBA Asia and WBO NABO Bantamweight Championships.


“I look forward to returning to the ring and putting on an exciting performance for my fans in Moscow and worldwide,”Sa Potapov, who has steadily moved back into contention for another big fight, whether a rematch against Greer or a challenge of one of the division’s champions.


Also scheduled for battle in featured fights are Saint Petersburg, Rysslands Zurab Kvitsiani (7-1, 2 Kos) taking on Khimki, Rysslands David Nikolaev (9-7-1, 5 Kos) in a middleweight eight-rounder; Grozny, Rysslands (via Almaty, Kazakstan) obesegrad superlätta Shamil Malsagov (3-0, 1 KO) up against Ufa, Rysslands Rustem Fatkhullin (8-8, 3 Kos) över åtta rundor; and once-beaten Tikhon Netesov of Irkutsk, Ryssland (5-1, 2 Kos) facing Khimki, Rysslands (via Vanadzor, Armenien) Arkadi Harutyunyan(4-17, 1 KO) in a six-round super lightweight battle.

Otto is a world-class fighter, and hopefully we get back to business and he can show that he is one of the best heavyweights in the world.”

On Chavez vs. Randall II…

Farhood – “I think it was a sign Chavez was getting to the end, he was only 31 but he had 90 fights and I think Randall got him at the right time. Watching Randall in both fights boxing so well reminded me a bit of Buster Douglas against [Mike] Tyson. This guy didn’t give you anything to think he could do something like this – just boxing beautifully. Salita Promotions Sign Russian Super Middleweight Dynamo Vladimir Shishkin to a Promotional Contract

Promoter Dmitriy Salita of Salita Promotions proudly announces the signing of highly rated super middleweight contender Vladimir Shishkin.


Shishkin, from Serpukhov, Ryssland, is just 8-0, 5 Kos, but is already rated WBA #15, WBC #11 och IBF #11 and is the current WBA Continental Super Middleweight Champion. The 27-year-old won the title with a KO 5 over Gasan Gasanov last July and then defended it against former world title challenger and world-rated contender Nadjib Mohammedi via TKO 10 in October of last year. He also won the WBA Asia Super Middleweight Title last May with a TKO 7 over solid Belarussian veteran Sergey Khomitskiy.

Som amatör, Shishkin is a former national junior champion. Big for the weight class, Shishkin stands 6′ 1″ and is extremely strong. He boxes with power behind a world-class jab and has excellent defense.

Signing with Salita, says Shishkin, is a chance to bring his name and talents to North America.

“I am happy to sign with Salita Promotions as I know it will lead to new exciting opportunities for my career,” sa han. “I feel that I am the best super middleweight in the world and will continue to prove that fact by climbing up the ladder to the world title.”

Ord, who has quickly become boxing’s top cultivator of Soviet iron men, says audiences not yet familiar with his new fighter are going to love what they see.

“I am excited to work with one of the best contenders in the super middleweight division in Vladimir Shishkin. In only eight fights, he has already beaten some impressive names in the division, and he is just getting started. Vladimir’s exciting style, size and desire to be the best will very quickly make him a fan favorite. In due time, he is going to be world champion.”

Salita says Shishkin will make his US Debut in summer.

Super Prospect Shoh Ergashev Brutalizes Ramsey with First-Round KO, Saturday in Chicago

Uzbekistani super lightweight Shohjahon “Shoh” Ergashev showed why he’s the new 140-lb fighter to watch in boxing last Saturday, November 10, at the UIC Pavilion in Chicago, as he destroyed opponent Zack Ramsey in the first round.

 

 

 

The current WBA International Super Lightweight Champion, Ergashev (nu 14-0, 13 Kos), tore into Ramsey from the opening bell of their scheduled six-rounder, dropping him within the first 15 seconds with a right hand and finishing it at 1:09 with a thudding body shot.

 

 

 

Fighting on the undercard of the World Boxing Super Series Cruiserweight Tournament doubleheader Ergashev elicited “oohs and ahhhs” from the crowd with his brutal display of force. Former unified super lightweight and current welterweight champion Terence Crawford was among the impressed onlookers in the crowd.

 

 

 

Ergashev’s promoter, Dmitriy Salita, says that in preparation for this fight, Ergashev had been knocking out heavyweights in the Kronk Gym where he trains.

 

 

 

“Shohjahon is one of the hardest punchers in any weight class,”Sa Word. “His skills and physical strength make him not only one of the best in his division, but I believe one of the most exciting and powerful fighters in all of boxing.”

O’Quinn Wins Again! Undefeated Detroit Bantamweight Sends Mexico’s Esquivel Through the Ropes in Second Round TKO Victory

Undefeated bantamweight prospect Ja’Rico “Great Lakes King” O’Quinn continued building his reputation as one of Detroit’s most promising young fighters on Friday night with a second-round stoppage of former world-title challenger Christian “Italiano” Esquivel of Mexico.

 

 

 

Fighting at the MotorCity Casino Hotel in Detroit, O'Quinn (nu 10-0-1, 7 Kos) showed why he is so highly regarded by sending Esquivel through the ropes for a TKO victory at 2:56 runda två.

 

 

 

Esquivel, a former NABF, WBC Continental Americas, WBC Youth Intercontinental, WBC FECOMBOX, and WBC Silver Bantamweight Champion, had no answer to the fast and powerful hands of O’Quinn. He falls to 30-16-1, 23 Kos.

 

 

 

“Christian Esquivel was a world title challenger and an experienced fighter. My goal was to make a statement,” said a happy O’Quinn, post-kamp. “I did what was expected of me and rose to the occasion. I’m looking forward to having another impressive win before the year’s ends and starting next year with my TV debut. I am bringing world championship glory back to the city of Detroit. It’s just a matter of time!"

 

 

 

O’Quinn’s promoter, Dmitriy Salita, said he expected a strong showing from O’Quinn and says he got even more than he hoped for from the 23-year-old.
