LAS VEGAS (Maj 5, 2016) – Lightweight sensation Devin “Drømmen” Haney (5-0, 3 KOS) is a boxing prodigy. The gifted 17-year-old boxer, kæmper ud af Las Vegas, will make his national television debut May 21, hjemme, på den “Knockout Night at the D” kort.

Haney (pictured below) is a 7-time national amateur champion, who captured a gold medal at the 2015 Unge verdensmester, but he was unable to try-out for the 2016 US. Olympic Boxing Team because of his age. When headgear was eliminated from Olympic boxing competition, the minimum age for a U.S. boxer to compete in the Olympics was changed to 19, so Haney decided to turn pro at the age of 17 rather than wait four more years. Also scheduled to fight on the undercard in 4-round bouts are Las Vegas junior lightweight Randy Moreno (2-0, 1 KO) vs. Texan Chris Turtun (1-2), and Las Vegas welterweight Jeremy “J-Flash” Nichols (3-0, 2 KOS) vs. TBA.

Magomedov (17-0, 10 KOS), who is promoted by Main Events, is rated among the top 15 middleweights by the four major sanctioning bodies: WBC #2, WBO #3, WBA #5 og IBF #14. I 2015, Hernandez stopped 17-1 Jeff Page, Jr., whose only other loss was to 2-time Russian Olympian and current world light heavyweight contenderArtur Beterbiev, i 10^th round of their UBF Inter-continental super middleweight title fight. Hernandez also upset 12-0 Jerry Odum last year at Madison Square Garden Theater.

In his last fight this past March, Hernandez won in Tacoma when veteran Dionisio Miranda (22-14-2) was unable to answer the bell for the 8th round.
