LAS VEGAS, Nevada (Octubre 30, 2017) – As his November 4º date approaches, unbeaten super-lightweight prospect, 18-year old phenom, Devin “El Somni” Haney (17-0, 11 KOs), shares his thoughts on training camp and more, as he prepares for his fight withHamza Sempewo (14-8, 7 KOs) of Kampala, Uganda.

“I’m constantly grinding in the gym, trying to get better. No one is working harder than me. I’m very grateful to have him in my corner. Together we are a force in the boxing world, and I know with hard work, I’ll be the next super-star in boxing.”
On the importance of staying active…
“It’s very important to stay active in boxing, because in this sport, its all about that live action. Fighting with no headgear and smaller gloves is a big difference as opposed to sparring. The more fights I can get under my belt, the better I’ll be when I hit the big stage.”
On fighting in Atlanta, Georgia for the first time…
“Atlanta is a major city and I’m going to give the fans in attendance a fight they’ll remember for years to come. Fighting in the South is a great opportunity to expand the Devin Haney Promotions brand. I want to fight in as many big cities as possible.”
On the state of the super-lightweight division…
“The super-lightweight division is stacked with a lot of great fighters. Terrance Crawfordsits atop the division, i per a mi, he’s one of the best pound-for-pound fighters in the world. I’m on my way up and I’m confident in my ability to become a world champion. I’ve been in the ring with Floyd Mayweather, Shawn Porter and a lot of other great fighters, so my confidence is extremely high. I’m gunning for everyone in the division. I know I can get down with the best of them.”

Haney, who captured the WBC Youth World lightweight title at just 18-years old, the youngest to ever do so, is excited about fighting in Atlanta, Geòrgia, for the first time in his career.
“This will be my first time fighting in Atlanta and I’m excited to bring an exciting fight to all those who’ll be in attendance,” dit Devin Haney. “Everyone who’s seen me fight, knows I like to put on a great show. Unbeaten Super-Lightweight Phenom DEVIN “EL SOMNI” HANEY Extends On Winning Steak, Talks Future

LAS VEGAS, Nevada (Setembre 25, 2017) – Last Friday at the SugarHouse Casino, a Filadèlfia, Pennsilvània, undefeated super-lightweight prospect, 18-year old sensation Devin “El Somni” Haney, va millorar a (17-0, 11 KOs) with a unanimous decision victory against Enrique Tinoco (16-5-3, 12 KOs) de Mèxic.
Tinoco, known for being a rugged fighter, was no match for Haney as he dominated from start to finish. Devin used his superior boxing skills to outclass Tinoco, working off angels, while landing his punches at will. En la quarta ronda, Haney hurt Tinoco with a vicious straight right-cross, putting the Mexican native on wobbly legs, prompting a 10-8 round on one of the judges’ quadres de comandament. “Tinoco was a very durable opponent who’s been in the ring with some notable fighters,” said Devin Haney. “I knew if I stuck to my game plan, everything would work out. I’m only 18-years old, but I feel like a polished pro. With every fight, I’m learning something new. I just want to be the best possible fighter I can be. All the hard work is paying off.

LAS VEGAS (Maig 21, 2016) – Pes mitjà Phoenix determinat Andrés “Huracà” Hernández favorit pesat impactat Arif “El Pedador” Magomedov a l'acte principal d'aquesta nit al “Knockout Night at the D” targeta, que es va emetre en directe CBS Sports Network des de sota les llums de neó al El centre de Las Vegas Events Center (DLVEC) local a l'aire lliure.

Fa quatre setmanes, Hernández es preparava per lluitar com a pes creuer. Va perdre 40 lliures per guanyar pes per a aquesta lluita de pes mitjà en el que va resultar ser un dels majors trastorns de l'any.

 Superpesos welter de Southpaw Joan “El fenomen” Vera (14-0, 9 KOs), de Fort Worth, i Phoenix’ Joey “Boxer” Ruelas (10-2-1, 4 KOs) van anar cara a cara des de la campana d'obertura i mai van deixar de banda la funció conjunta. La Vera va esclatar en la ronda d'aquesta tempesta de foc, maltractant el joc Ruelas al voltant, fins a l'àrbitre Jay Nady va aturar l'acció a la sisena ronda. Vera es va mantenir invicta i va conservar el seu títol NABA-USA.
“Sabia que eventualment baixaria les mans i que l'agafaria,” va explicar la Vera. “Li agraeixo l'oportunitat de lluitar. És un lluitador infernal, Jo li dono això, però sé que sóc un guerrer. Vaig fer alguns trets però els vaig donar, massa. El vaig trencar i vaig seguir tirant aquestes esquerres.”

A l'obertura de la televisió, prodigi de la boxa Devin “El Somni” Haney (6-0, 4 KOs) va fer història com el jove de 17 anys – un junior de secundària – es va convertir en el boxejador professional nord-americà més jove a lluitar a la televisió nacional. La Floyd Mayweather, Sr.-Haney entrenat, lluitant fora de Las Vegas davant la seva base de seguidors en ràpid creixement, va mostrar les seves vastes habilitats contra un invasor mexicà anteriorment invicte Jairo “El lleó” Vargas (Fernández), descàrrega 14 cops sense resposta per a 4º victòria per eliminatòria tècnica ronda. En una batalla de pes welter júnior de Texas, Tony Lopez (11-1, 4 KOs) caigut abans invicte de Jerry “Colps durs” Cochran (11-1-1, 4 KOs) dues vegades amb esquerra a la primera ronda i el va rematar a la segona, noquejant-lo amb un dret de càstig.
“Dos segons més i l'hauria acabat en el primer,” va remarcar López. “El meu racó m'ho va dir, després de les esquerres, torna amb dret. Em van donar el pla de joc i ho vaig executar.”

En la baralla d'obertura, El favorit de Las Vegas, Jeremy “J-Flash” Nichols (4-0, 2 KOs) va dominar el pes welter de Puerto Rico Juliol “L'indi” Sants (2-3, 1 KO) en el seu camí cap a una victòria per decisió unànime de 4 rondes.
“Sé que podria haver fet una mica millor, llançant més combinacions i jab,” va dir Nichols. “Va entrar intentant però no va poder lluitar. El vaig enviar de tornada a Puerto Rico amb una pèrdua.”
