UPCOMING PREMIER BOXING CHAMPIONS EVENTS CANCELLED

Due to the growing concerns over COVID-19, Premier Boxing Champions scheduled events for March and April have been cancelled and will be rescheduled for a later date. At this time there’s no information regarding future shows. “The health and safety of the boxers, fans and those working the events are of utmost importance to us,” sa Tom Brown, President of TGB Promotions and lead promoter for the cancelled shows. “We are all disappointed and as we get more information we will address future events.”

Ticket Refund Information All ticket orders will be refunded from your original point of purchase. If you have purchased online through Ticketmaster, all orders will be refunded automatically. Orders purchased with a credit card will be refunded to the credit card used for purchase. LAS VEGAS, NV (November 8, 2018) – På grund av orsaker som involverar medicinska problem, Final Fight Championship har meddelat det “FFC 34” den 9 november har officiellt ställts in.

 

 

 

Nick Sadeghi, MD för Athlete Advantage Medical i Las Vegas, NV, släppte följande uttalande till Final Fight Championship.

 

Nevada State Athletic Commission kräver att en serie medicinska undersökningar genomförs av en professionell fighter för att fastställa det medicinska tillståndet för en fighter, resultatet av dessa prov som avgör om fightern kommer att godkännas för att tävla eller inte. Av yttersta oro är fighters fysiska välbefinnande. Det fastställdes av oberoende läkare som genomförde undersökningarna för FFC såväl som Nevada State Athletic Commission att flera fighters som var planerade att tävla på kampkortet den 9 november inte skulle kunna tävla på grund av onormala MRA-fynd som identifierade små aneurysmer i hjärnan. Av uppenbara skäl, dessa fighters kunde inte godkännas för att tävla utan ordentlig medicinsk upparbetning. Detta inkluderar konsultation med en neurokirurg och en interventionsradiolog. Vissa fighters kan rensas efter detta, men vissa kan behöva ett kirurgiskt ingrepp för att korrigera aneurysmet innan han eller hon kan fortsätta kämpa i framtiden.

 

 

 

FFC VD/VD, Orsat Zovko, avgett eget utlåtande angående den olyckliga avbokningen.

 

 

 

“Vi är besvikna över att göra detta tillkännagivande, men med så kort varsel var det omöjligt att gå vidare eftersom fyra av våra sex slagsmål stoppades av kommissionen och medicinsk personal, inklusive vårt Main Event och Co-Event,” sa Zovko.

 

 

 

“Vi måste följa de strikta reglerna och riktlinjerna från Nevada Athletic Commission, och vi respekterar de beslut som tas av det medicinska samfundet, eftersom det är i fighters bästa intresse, och att skydda sin hälsa är det yttersta målet.”

CES AND NEF FORCED TO CANCEL CO-PROMOTIONAL EVENT

Lewiston, Maine (Oktober 3, 2016) – The CES and NEF co-promotion scheduled for November 4 in Lewiston is no more. Executives from both companies announced today that the mixed-martial-arts event had been canceled due to matchmaking issues.

 

With several fighters pulling off the AXS TV portion of the card, and others turning down fights offered by matchmakers, and with the 30-day deadline to submit the fight card to the state commission for approval looming, the two companies were left with no choice but to call the event off.

 

“We are disappointed that this event didn’t materialize as planned,” said CES Vice President and Director of Legal Affairs Jimmy Burchfield, Jr. “But we are optimistic that we can make it happen in 2017.”

 

Details will follow for CES 39.

 

“It’s unfortunate, but we had no other option,” said NEF promoter Nick DiSalvo. “When one door closes, another opens.”

 

The door that has opened is Lördag, November 19 at the Androscoggin Bank Colisee. NEF will present “NEF 26,” and it will feature the promotion’s fighters who had already been scheduled to compete on November 4 plus many others. Dörrarna öppnas kl 6 pm with first fight at 7 pm. NEF chose to push the event date back two weeks in order to give new fighters added to the card more time to prepare.

 

“Once we made the mutual decision to cancel the event,” said NEF matchmaker Matt Peterson, “I got on the phone and immediately started making calls. Within hours we had already assembled a spectacular card that we’ll be sharing with fans this week. No one will be disappointed when they make the trek to the Colisee on November 19th. We have an explosive event planned.”

 

For those who have already purchased tickets for November 4 through the Colisee box office, they will have the option of either a full refund or using their ticket for November 19. Fans will have until this Friday, Oktober 7 vid 4 pm EDT to call the box office at 207-783-2009 x 525 to request a full refund. The box office cannot refund tickets purchased from fighters. Any fan who purchased a ticket from a fighter and would like a refund will have to return their ticket to the fighter for the refund. Fans who choose to keep their tickets for November 19do not have to do anything. All tickets printed with the “November 4” date will be honored at the door on November 19.

DIBELLA ENTERTAINMENT STATEMENT REGARDING CUELLAR VS. MARES

New York, NY (6/17/16) - Regrettably, due to a medical issue that renders former three-division world champion Abner Mares presently unable to fight in New York State, the Cuellar vs. Mares fight has been cancelled and will be replaced on the SHOWTIME CHAMPIONSHIP BOXING on CBS, Presenteras av Premier Boxing Champions, telecast next Lördag, Juni 25. Abner’s condition is in no way life-threatening, nor was it revealed in a blood or urine test; there was no use of any drugs, including PEDs or other banned substances.

 

In honoring Abner’s right to medical confidentiality, no further information will be released on this situation unless he chooses.

“KNOCKOUT NIGHT AT THE D” FIGHT CARD FOR MARCH 12 CANCELLED

LAS VEGAS – “Knockout Night at the D,” the boxing fight card to feature headliners Zab Judah vs. Josh Torres at the Downtown Las Vegas Events Center (DLVEC), has been cancelled for Lördag, Mars 12.
Derek Stevens, CEO of D Las Vegas and DLVEC, sa, “Last night, I received multiple calls from the Nevada Athletic Commission regarding eligibility concerns. After our discussions, it became apparent the fight card could not move forward. Although I’m disappointed with the situation, I appreciate the phone calls and look forward to working with the Nevada Athletic Commission on future boxing events at the DLVEC.”
