In the opening bout of the SHOWTIME CHAMPIONSHIP BOXING telecast that begins at 9 p.m. I/6 p.m. PT, once-beaten 154-pound contenders Tony Harrison i Sergey Rabchenko will meet in a 12-round IBF Junior Middleweight Eliminator. Harrison and Rabchenko will square off for the No. 2 mandatory challenger spot to IBF titlist Jermall Charlo, who successfully defended his crown on Maig 21, i contendent invicte Julian Williams, who earned the No. 1 mandatory position on Març 5, both on SHOWTIME. Harrison vs. Rabchenko is the sixth matchup in 2016 between top 154-pound fighters, a lineup showcasing three world title fights and three title elimination matches in one of boxing’s deepest divisions.

The 10-round bout is a matchup between a former two-division world champion, Malignaggi, and a fellow Brooklyn native, Bracero, coming off the biggest win of his career when he knocked out Danny O'Connor l'octubre passat.

PHOENIX, LA (Juny 28, 2016) – Unbeaten Mexican-American super-middleweight, David “El Bandera Roja” Benavidez (15-0, 14 KOs) is eager to stamp his name in the division. VLADIMIR TIKHONOV MAKING PROGRESS UP THE RATINGS LADDER; RUSSIAN IS LUCKY NO. 13 IN WBA

Brooklyn, Nova York (Juny 15, 2016)– Rus Vladimir Tikhonov, a super bantamweight contender, is the latest signee to the Dmitriy Salita promotional slate. And it looks like the timing is right for the Brooklyner Salita, with word out that this Russian hitter is making his way up the ratings ladder.
Tikhonov (14-0 amb 8 KOs) has entered the WBA world rankings at No. 13.

BELGIAN BOXER ALEX MISKIRTCHIAN GETS FEATHERWEIGHT TITLE SHOT

PROMOTER SALITA BACKS FEATHERWEIGHT CONTENDER
Brooklyn, Nova York (Març 16, 2016) – Even the very best in the business experience setbacks and get faced with choice time. Can I learn from my mistake and turn a negative into a positive?
Alex Miskirtchian found himself enjoying his momentum up the featherweight ladder before he hit a pothole in the road last summer. The Georgia-born fighter with a 26-4-1 mark got caught by vet Cornelius Lock and had to assess himself.

He did so, and licked his wounds and got back to work. The Belgium resident, who has mostly fought in his home-land, rebounded with a win in December and is being rewarded for his perseverance with an IBF intercontinental championship opportunity.

Miskirtchian, promoted by Brooklyn’s Dmitriy Salita, will fight Vireol Simion on Març 18, for a crack at that crown.

“Alex is fighting for a title but more importantly for a chance to come back to the top of the division,” Paraula dir.

“He learned from his US experience, against Lock, took a break and came back with extra motivation to again make a world title run. I believe Alex will put on one of his best performances in this upcoming fight. He has a great team with manager Alain Vanackère and I believe the result will be a positive one on March 18th.”

The fight against the 19-1 Romanian Viorel will unfold in Bucharest, the capital of Romania, so Miskirtchian will need to fight his best brand of boxing that evening. El seu promotor, Paraula, has faith in him.

Un cop a les cordes, Boxa prospera a Nova York, gràcies als combatents locals

Will Rosinsky és un 30-anys d'edat, nadiu de Queens que treballa com a bomber en Crown Heights, Brooklyn. Un conegut de tota la vida del seu, Joe Smith Jr., és un treballador de la construcció de 26 anys d'edat, de Long Island i membre del Local 66 Obrers de la Unió.

BROOKLYN (Setembre 30, 2015) – En un enfrontament molt esperat entre dos dels peleadores més emocionants i talentosos de Brooklyn, AMB campió mundial de pes mitjà Daniel “L'home dels miracles” Jacobs (30-1, 27 KOs)s'enfrontarà a l'ex campió del món Peter “Kid Xocolata” Quillin (32-0-1, 23 KOs)a Dissabte, Desembre 5 del Barclays Center a Brooklyn viure TEMPS DE LA FUNCIÓ (9 p.m. I/6 p.m. PT).

En 2011, mentre persegueix un campionat en el ring, càncer amenaçada la seva vida i el va mantenir al marge de 19 mesos. Quan va tornar, que va recollir on ho va deixar, i no ha perdut des. El jugador de 28 anys d'edat, ve d'un nocaut en el segon round de l'ex campió mundial Sergio Mora a l'agost.
Quillin torna al ring després d'haver noquejat a Michael Zerafa a principis d'aquest mes per donar seguiment al seu empat renyida contra el campió mundial de pes mitjà Andy Lee a l'abril.
