BACK-TO-BACK EVENTS SET TO AIR THIS Fredag, APRIL 6 BEGINNING AT 9 P.M. PT ON PARAMOUNT NETWORK

LOS ANGELES – Bellator has announced completed cards for both Bellator 196 og Bellator Kickboxing 9, which take place this Fredag, April 6 at BOK Hall in Budapest, Hungary and air on Paramount Network at 9 p.m. OG/8 p.m. CT.

 

The headliner for Bellator 196 will see former world champion Benson Henderson (24-8) in a lightweight matchup against Roger Huerta (24-9-1, 1 NC), who returns to Bellator for the first time since 2010. On the kickboxing side of things, Raymond Daniels (33-3) defends his welterweight crown against Djibril Ehouo (38-9-2) in the headliner of Bellator Kickboxing 9.

Bellator 196: Henderson vs. Huerta will be broadcast Fredag, April 6 free on Paramount Network at 9 p.m. OG/8 p.m. CT. Bellator Kickboxing 9 will air immediately following at 11 p.m. OG/10 p.m. CT. Tickets for the event are on sale now and are available at www.Bellator.hu.

 

With marquee victories over Nate Diaz, Donald Cerrone (x2), Frankie Edgar (x2), Gilbert Melendez and Jorge Masvidal, Glendale, Ariz.’s “Smooth” Benson Henderson looks to add another name to his already-impressive resume. The former UFC and WEC champ owns a win over a Patricio “Pitbull” inside the Bellator cage and is looking to make a statement on his way back to title contention when he meets Roger Huerta on April 6 in Budapest, Ungarn. Fighting out of Austin, Texas, the 34-year-old Los Angeles native returns to Bellator for the first time since facing Eddie Alvarez at Bellator 33. The first MMA fighter to ever appear on the cover of Sports Illustrated, Huerta’s entertaining fight style saw him memorably defeat Clay Guida and Leonard Garcia. Nu, fresh off of two consecutive victories, “El Matador” is not shying away from elite competition for his first fight of 2018.

LOS ANGELES – Due to an undisclosed injury, James Gallagher’s highly anticipated return to the Bellator cage will be delayed.

BOK HALL TO HOST BELLATOR MMA AND KICKBOXING EVENTS

 

 

 

LOS ANGELES – Bellator will hold its third event in Budapest, Ungarn om Fredag, April 6, bringing along a battle of young guns looking to remain undefeated early in their mixed martial arts careers. The pride of Strabane, Nordirland, James Gallagher (7-0) meets Budapest’s Adam Borics (10-0) in an exciting Bellator 196 featherweight main event matchup.

 

 

A women’s flyweight bout will serve as the co-main event of the card, when the Bellator women’s 125-pound kickboxing champion Denise Kielholtz (1-1) tager på Lena Ovchynnikova (12-5, 1 NC). Desuden, the April 6 card at BOK Hall will also feature world-class kickboxing action, as Bellator Kickboxing returns for another great night of fights. A main event for the kickboxing portion of the card will be announced in the coming days.

There are few mixed martial artists that invoke the type of polarizing reaction “The Strabanimal” does when entering the Bellator cage. A longtime training partner of Conor McGregor under the tutelage of world-renowned coach John Kavanagh at SBG Ireland, the 21-year-old has been on a tear since signing with Bellator in 2016, racking up four wins in four contests. With each victory, Gallagher has showcased a growing skillset, culminating in a first-round submission of Chinzo Machida at Bellator 180 juni sidste år. When the pair of flyweights compete at Bellator 196, look for both to keep the fight on their feet, making for an exciting standup battle.

OGSÅ, BELLATOR SET FOR HISTORIC ROME DEBUT Juli 7, 2018

FLORENCE, Italien – A sold out crowd was on hand for Bellator’s return to the Nelson Mandela Forum in Florence, Italy to cheer on their national hero, Alessio Sakara, in his bid for the middleweight title at Bellator 190. Men, reigning champion Rafael Carvalho emerged victorious in his third defense of the belt with yet another exciting performance. Med sejren, Carvalho is now tied with Alexander Shlemenko for most title defenses in promotional history.

 

Derudover, Bellator has announced plans for a summer return to Italy in the country’s capital city of Rome on Juli 7 with an event that will air on the soon-to-launch Paramount Network. The date marks the company’s first trip to Rome, after hosting multiple events in both Torino and Florence.

 

“After the success of our events in Torino and Florence, Italy over the last two years, we knew that it was time to do a show in Rome, a city rooted deep in combat sports history,” Bellator President Scott Coker said. “The Italian fans have shown their passion for the sport and we look forward to bringing a huge card to Rome next year on Juli 7."

ITALIAN ALESSIO SAKARA CHALLENGES RAFAEL CARVALHO FOR MIDDLEWEIGHT WORLD TITLE AT Bellator 190

LOS ANGELES – Bellator returns to Florence, Italy on Lørdag, December 9, when both Bellator MMA and Bellator Kickboxing, along with Oktagon, emanate from the Nelson Mandela Forum for another huge evening of combat sports action.

 

Bellator 190 will air free on SPIKE at 8 p.m. OG/7 p.m. CT and will be immediately followed by Bellator Kickboxing 8. Tickets for the event start at just €30 and are available at Bellator.com.

 

Bellator 190 will be headlined by current middleweight champ Rafael Carvalho (14-1), who will defend his title against Italy’s popular knockout artist, Alessio “Legionarius” Sakara (19-11, 2 NC). United Fight Alliance Partners with The World Association of Kickboxing USA

Tampa, FL – September 22, 2017 - United Fight Alliance (UFA), a Sports, Media and Entertainment Company comprised of fight promotions across the country and abroad, has joined forces with the World Association of Kickboxing Organizations USA (WAKO). På Lørdag, September 30, 2017 at 7pm CT, Den US. National Kickboxing K1 team will compete against the Canadian National Kickboxing K1 team at Tennessee State University in Nashville, TN. The WAKO Team USA Kickboxing: Team USA versus Team Canada event can be streamed her and UFA will broadcast the fights on its television networks reaching over 100 millioner hjem.

UFA’s CEO Jay Adams angivet, “UFA loves the opportunity to support Team USA and WAKO. I have had the pleasure of commentating a lot of kickboxing events in Europe and can tell you the teams there are extremely tough.
