This week on Fight Talk Unlimited we discuss a wide range of topics, beginning with the death of three pro wrestlers in one day. We go on to chat about Cody Garbrandt’s biting comments about fighter pay. We touch on bareknuckle fighting’s resurgence (adding Shawne Merriman to the roster of fighters for one organization), and we recap a wild fight between Eddie Alvarez and Dustin Poirier on last weekends UFC on Fox card. We also preview Garbrandt’s second bite at the TJ Dillashaw apple this weekend at UFC 227. Tony also helps preview one of the biggest fights of the week in Kovalev vs. Alvarez, which he will be attending in Atantic City. We do a boxing roundup of results and previews, and then we end the show with an off-topic talk about nature 🙂

Combatti combattimento settimanale di News Unlimited Sport Show è ora ufficialmente conosciuta come Lotta parlare senza limiti, e ora siamo di nuovo a una piattaforma dal vivo: Spreaker.

 

Questa settimana il nostro episodio di debutto su Spreaker, discutiamo una settimana selvaggia in notizie, dal manzo di Floyd Mayweather, con 50 Cent, slap di Conor McGregor sul polso per lanciare un carrello attraverso una finestra bus, ad una zona di Philadelphia insegnante di scuola lavoro nero come un carattere tedesco offensivo nella sua carriera pro-wrestling. This week on the FNU Combat Sports Show we recap last week’s multiple Bellator cards and the UFC Fight Night card from Boise, Idaho. We start off discussing boxing with an analysis of Manny Pacquiao’s one-sided beating of Lucas Matthysse. We move on to other news this week, including an online spat between Brendan Schaub and Dana White and Dominick Cruz claiming Brock Lesnar will never get through USADA testing to return to the UFC octagon. We also cover upcoming boxing and MMA bouts and discuss the eye poking incidents that occurred during the brief Stipe Micocic vs. Daniel Cormier heavyweight championship bout.

Questa settimana al FNU Combat Sports Show, Psychic Tom and Rabble Rousin’ Rich start off with a great interview with pro boxer Anthony Laureano. The Connecticut professional boxer is coming off a big win on the undercard of the Joe Smith Jr. fight at the end of June. We also recap last week’s boxing and MMA action, highlighted by Daniel Cormier’s monumental win over Stipe Miocic to become the first two belt holder in the UFC since McGregor. Tony joins the broadcast after the Laureano interview to give his take on Brock’s return to the UFC after going back to the WWE at the end of his first UFC stint. We also touch upon the Danny O’Connor fight being called off due to severe dehydration suffered by O’Connor. Finalmente, we preview upcoming events and briefly discuss a rumored rematch between Vitali Klitschko and Lennox Lewis.

Questa settimana al FNU Combat Sports Show, Tom, Tony and Rich look back at Bellator 201, a new candidate for “Round the Year” in the Zappavigna/Saucedo fight, Golden Boy making moves in boxing and MMA, and the increasing push by streaming services to drain away the PPV dollar from sports fans. We start off discussing concussion symptoms that led to the withdrawal of Max Holloway from the co-main event of UFC 226 questa settimana.

 

Of course we also preview a huge weekend for the UFC with The TUF Finale tonight and the long-awaited UFC 226 main event of Stipe Miocic putting his heavyweight belt on the line against Light Heavyweight Champion Daniel Cormier.

FNU combattimento Sports Show: UFC Fight Night Recap, Pacquiao vs. Matthysse ancora, “Big Rig” Si ritira

Questa settimana al FNU Combat Sports Show, discutiamo delle ultime novità in MMA e boxe, riepilogare gli eventi della scorsa settimana e visualizzare in anteprima i prossimi eventi di questa settimana. Discutiamo anche di Walter “2 Pistole” Wright ha vinto il suo incontro principale contro Mark DeLuca un paio di giorni dopo che lo abbiamo intervistato la scorsa settimana. La vittoria della decisione divisa di Wright è arrivata in parte a causa di un jab persistente che ha frustrato DeLuca e lo ha lasciato insanguinato, contuso ed esausto dalla campana finale. Ovviamente sollevare questo fatto ci fa andare avanti sull'assoluta necessità del jab nella cassetta degli attrezzi di qualsiasi combattente di sport da combattimento.

Tra le novità tocchiamo:

Le voci sul prossimo combattimento di Manny Pacquiao con Lucas Matthysse sono in pericolo, Manny e il suo team dicono che tutto è sulla buona strada.

Johny “Big Rig” Hendricks si ritira (ha anche dimenticato di menzionare che anche Rashad Evans si è ritirato).

 

L'ultimo cast di The Contender Series, impostato per tornare questo mese di agosto 16 giovani pugili emergenti nella divisione 160 libbre.

 

La defezione di Lyoto Machida dall'UFC a Bellator e l'accordo di Bellator con DAZN, un servizio di streaming che sta lavorando per conquistare nuovi mercati quest'anno, compresi gli Stati Uniti e l'Italia.

Tom, Tony and Rich have a ton of ground to cover in this episode. We recap last week’s most significant fights, starting with the first sanctioned bareknuckle boxing event in hundreds of years. We also break down the latest UFC Fight Night card where Jimmie Rivera took the first loss in his last 21 combattimenti. We discuss Dana White’s tirade against fighters who don’t take the fights the company wants them to, and we blast Canelo Alvarez and his team for destroying all chances of another fight with GGG. We take a good chunk of the show to outline and analyze all the various boxing matches taking place this Saturday, from Tyson Fury’s return to the ring against Sefer Seferi to the battle of pound for pound best and undefeated welterweights Jeremy Horn and Terrence Crawford fighting on ESPN+ (which we criticize heavily). We also touch on the debut card for PFL, a fight league where all the prize money comes at the end of the season. Finalmente, we preview UFC 225 and discuss CM Punk’s chances of proving himself a true cage fighter.
