Murphys Boxing is proud to announce NABA super welterweight champion, Mark DeLuca (23-1, 13 KO) will face undefeated Canadian contender, Brandon Brewer (23-0-1, 11 KO) on the undercard of the middleweight world championship bout between Demetrius Andrade e Maciej Sulecki vivere DAZN su Sabato, June 29th in Provvidenza, Rhode Island.

As for DeLuca’s massive Boston area fan base, the Whitman, Massachusetts native is confident they will be making the short trip down to Providence.


“It’s definitely a home game for me. Providence is only 45 minutes from my front door. I can guarantee you that Boston will be in the house.”


DeLuca’s promoter and Murphys Boxing founder, Ken Casey couldn’t agree more with his fighter.

There’s a lot of fighters I want to share the ring with but right now I think myself vs Philadelphia’s Darman Roccia is a fight that should and will happen.”

“Boston is a home away from home for me.”, says the outspoken, handlebar mustached slugger who has fought in the New England area 10 volte.


“Murphys Boxing Saint Patrick’s Day events are not to be missed. The crowd is insane and I’m coming to give them what they wanna see… a fight!”


The night will also feature a who’s who of New England’s hottest young contenders and prospects.


Murphys Boxing’s Charles Foster (17-0, 8 KO) will put his NABA Light Heavyweight Championship title on the line in a 10 round bout against Chicago’s Mike Jimenez (22-1-2, 14 KO).


The New Haven, Connecticut based Foster is a world ranked contender (#10 nel WBA) and is fresh off a national television appearance last year when he beat the previously undefeated, Alvin Varmall, Jr. su Orario Dello Spettacolo. He will face one of his toughest challenges yet against the dangerous, power punching, Jimenez whose only loss came to two-time world title challenger, Jesse Hart.

In keeping with the holiday’s theme, there will be an all Irish grudge match when Lucan, Irlanda John Joyce (7-0, 4 KO) travels to America to take on Cork, Irlanda Noel Murphy (12-1-1, 2 KO), who is now based in New York City, in un 8 round welterweight clash that has Irish pride on the line.

Questa settimana al FNU Combat Sports Show, discutiamo delle ultime novità in MMA e boxe, riepilogare gli eventi della scorsa settimana e visualizzare in anteprima i prossimi eventi di questa settimana. Discutiamo anche di Walter “2 Pistole” Wright ha vinto il suo incontro principale contro Mark DeLuca un paio di giorni dopo che lo abbiamo intervistato la scorsa settimana. La vittoria della decisione divisa di Wright è arrivata in parte a causa di un jab persistente che ha frustrato DeLuca e lo ha lasciato insanguinato, contuso ed esausto dalla campana finale. Ovviamente sollevare questo fatto ci fa andare avanti sull'assoluta necessità del jab nella cassetta degli attrezzi di qualsiasi combattente di sport da combattimento.

N.E. Junior Middleweight champion Greg Vendetti (14-2-1, 10 KO), fighting out of Stoneham (MA), will defend his title against Worcester’s (MA) Khiary Grey (14-2, 11 KO) in the eight-round main event. Vendetti is riding a 10-fight win streak, knocking out eight opponents during this stretch, while Gray is a former Universal Boxing Federation (UBF) International and Northeast Junior Middleweight champion.
The best fighter on the card is undefeated junior middleweight marchio “Bazooka” DeLuca (18-0, 12 KO), a U.S. Marine from Quincy (MA) who fought in Afghanistan. He’ll be tested by always-dangerous Chris Chatman (14-6-1, 5 KO), di Chicago, in the eight-round co-feature bout.
