Las Vegas (Mars 9, 2018) – Former Middleweight Champion Kelly Pavlik has confirmed that he and “The Punch Line” Podcast team will appear at the “Ring Life” booth to Meet & Greet his fans at the Las Vegas Convention Center for the fourth edition of Box Fan Expo that will take place Saturday May 5, 2018 från 10a.m to 5pm, Under Cinco De Mayo helgen. The Boxing Expo will also coincide with the mega fight between Saul “Canelo” Alvarez vs Gennady “GGG” Golovkin, that will take place later that evening.
Pavlik will appear for the first time at this years’ Expo. Kelly and “The Punch Line” team will have merchandise to sell to his fans, samt foton och minnessaker. They will also promote their New Show from the Boxing Expo.
Kelly Pavlik Known as “The Ghost”, is an American former professional boxer who competed from 2000 till 2012. Pavlik grew up on the south side of Youngstown, Ohio. He won the unified WBC, WBO, Ring magazine and lineal middleweight titles by defeating Jermain Taylor in 2007, which was also named Fight of the Year by the Boxing Writers Association of America. Pavlik made three successful defenses before losing them to Sergio Martínez in 2010. på januari 19, 2013 Kelly Pavlik announced his retirement from boxing.

NEW YORK (November 15, 2017)) – Hall of Famer Evander “Real Deal” Holyfield and former world welterweight champion Luis Collazo will be special guest speakers at Ring 8’s next monthly meeting,Tisdag natt, November 21, på O'Neill's Restaurant (64-21 53rd Drive) in Maspeth, New York,
Because a large crowd is expected, only Ring 8 members will be allowed to attend this meeting, but membership may be obtained at the door for those interested in joining Ring 8.
“Evander Holyfield is one of the few living legends in our sport,” Ring 8 president Jack Hirsch sa. “Så, you can imagine how thrilled we are to have him as a guest speaker. We had planned to present Holyfield with the Ring 8 Legends Award at our holiday banquet, but a lucrative business opportunity will prohibit him from being there that afternoon. Istället, we will present him with that award at O’Neil’s. It says a lot about Evander that he adjusted his schedule to remain in New York to attend our meeting.
“Luis Collazo is a terrific fighter in his own right, having been a former world champion. His career seems to be on an upswing once again and we are anxious to hear about his future plans.”
Holyfield has retired as a boxer with an outstanding 44-10-2 (29 Kos), but this past year he has operated a New York City-based promotional company, Real Deal Boxing. A U.S. Olympian, Holyfield is the only unified world cruiserweight champion, as well as a four-time heavyweight champion of the world.
He had a 16-7-2 record in world title fights and won 19 av 30 fights with two draws against past or present world champions, defeating a Who’s Who list of all-time greats such as Dwight Muhammad Qawi, George Foreman, Larry Holmes, Riddick Bowe och Mike Tyson (två gånger), Bland de mer framstående.

Las Vegas (Mars 28, 2017) – 2-Time world champion and Olympic Gold Medal winner, Yuriorkis Gamboa has confirmed that he will appear and have a booth to Meet & Greet his fans at the Las Vegas Convention Center for the 3rd edition of Box Fan Expo som kommer att äga rum Saturday May 6, 2017 Under Cinco De Mayo helgen. Gamboa will appear for the first time at this years’ Expo och kommer att underteckna handskar, photos and selling merchandise. Fans will have an opportunity to take pictures with the former world champion and Olympic Gold medalist.
He will be raising money for an amazing woman named Ivonne Lugo, who suffers from PKD, an inherited chronic kidney disease. She is in urgent need of a liver and kidney transplant. Gamboa joins the list of over 50 current and past World Champions boxers who have appeared at the Expo, meeting their fans in person.
Gamboa is a Cuban professional boxer. He is a former unified fjäder världsmästare, having held the WBA title from 2009 till 2011, och IBF title from 2010 till 2011. I am proud to officially announce my 6th Official Amateur Boxing Reunion that will take place on March 18 at Monique’s Lounge in Harlem, New York. I am expecting by far the largest turn out of any of the previous 5 reunions which were held twice at Rival Boxing in Las Vegas, once at Jimmy’s Corner in Manhattan and once each at Connecticut’s Mohegan Sun and Foxwoods Casinos.
Of the over 100 boxers attending this far, among them I expect the likes of 1988 OS-silvermedaljören Riddick Big Daddy Bowe, NYC Golden Gloves Champ “Poison” Junior Jones, 1984 Olympic champ Mark Breland, 1974 National Junior Olympic champ Marlon Starling, 1996 USA Olympic team captain Lawrence Clay-Bey och 1988 National Golden Gloves Champion Mark “Alltför Sharp” Johnson.
At my past reunions, including the most recent one held at the Rival Boxing Store in Las Vegas on November 18, we’ve had the likes of Roy Jones Jr., Alex “The Bronx Bomber” Ramos, 1992 Olympian Montell Griffin, former three time world champions Mike McCallum and Iran Barkley, och “The Fighter” and Irish Micky Ward in attendance.
Among the most special of moments at my reunions, we had Mike McCallum and Alex Ramos, who met each other in the semi-finals of the 1980 NYC Golden Gloves, reconnect in Las Vegas in late 2014, we had Luis Ortiz and Lawrence Clay-Bey, who were brought together in 2015 at Foxwoods after not only not seeing each other in 38 YEARS but after not even knowing they fought against each other in 1977 until just a few days before they reunited and in NYC over the summer of 2015 vi hade 1984 New York City Golden Gloves 156 pound champion and runner up Dennis “The Magician” Milton and Jesse Lanton connect once again.

Den Boxing Expo kommer att sammanfalla med Floyd Mayweather vs Andre Berto mästerskap kamp, som kommer att äga rum senare samma kväll och mexikanska Independence helgen.

Hearns mer kända som “Hitmanen,” blev den första boxare i historien att vinna världstitlar i fyra divisioner. LAS VEGAS, NV. — Superstar tungvikt Lennox Lewis, the last undisputed heavyweight champion and who won an Olympic gold medal with a victory over Riddick Bowe och gjorde professionella segrar över boxning legender som Mike Tysdenn, Evander Holyfield och Vitali Klitschko, confirmed Onsdag att han kommer att återvända till Las Vegas i helgen för att delta i Nevada Boxing Hall of Fame tredje årliga induktion gala på Caesars Palace på lördag, Augusti 8.

 

Lewis is the latest in a gaggle of stars who have announced they’ll attend the popular gala induction ceremony. In addition to Lewis the Nevada Boxing Hall of Fame has confirmed that Marvelous Marvin Hagler, Felix Trinidad, Marco Antonio Barrera,Eddie Mustafa Muhammad och Roger Mayweather kommer också att delta i högprofilerade event som de nyaste medlemmarna i Nevada Boxing Hall of Fame.

 

Lewis, som var 41-2-1 med 32 Knockouts och hade en seger över varje människa han någonsin möter i ringen, är en av de headliners i NVBHOF s 2015 klass av inductees, valt i den icke-Nevada boxare kategori.

 

Lewis hämnas de enda två förluster av sin karriär, stoppa både Oliver McCall och Hasim Rahman efter att ha förlorat till dem tidigare.

 

Lewis was a classic boxer with a powerful punch. He’s probably best known for his 2002 vinna över Tyson, där han vann varje runda innan du stoppar honom i den åttonde omgången.

 

Han höll alla, eller en version av, den tunga titeln från 1993 tills 1994 och sedan igen från 1997 till slutet av sin karriär i 2003
