LAS VEGAS, Nevada (Novembre 20, 2017) – Ce passé Samedi PrinceWilsonYonexMoquetteTerre Ranch de boxe perspective ultra-légère, Blair “le Flair” Cobbs (7-0, 6 KOs), est resté invaincu avec une performance dominante contre Ousmane Sylla (1-3-1, 1 KO), Marquer un 4e ronde TKO. Le combat prévu de 6 rounds a eu lieu au Casino Fitzgerald & Hôtels à Tunica, Mississippi.
“De la cloche d'ouverture, Cobbs a appliqué une énorme pression en descendant Sylla, le forçant à se battre pour reculer. Cobbs creusait le corps avec une intention vicieuse. Cobbs a continué à submerger Sylla avec une attaque tous azimuts, atterrir plusieurs coups de puissance à la tête et le corps dans les tours deux et trois. Finalement, Cobbs a décroché un autre crochet droit solide à la tête forçant l'arbitre à arrêter le combat au quatrième tour, lui donnant la victoire TKO.
“En entrant dans ce combat, je sentais que je devais obtenir le KO,” dit Blair Cobbs. “J'ai fait exactement ça en appliquant beaucoup de pression et en allant vers le corps. Après le troisième tour, je savais qu'il s'épuisait, et c'est là que je suis allé pour le KO. Tout s'est bien passé…il est maintenant temps de retourner au gymnase et de continuer à moudre.”

La carte sera co-tête d'affiche par la sensation légère Gabriel Flores Jr., et Oscar Vasquez propre de Reno dans des épisodes distincts.

Pound-4-Pound Boxing Program sends Jordan Aguilar and Leslie Soto to Elite Qualifier
LAS VEGAS, Nevada (Octobre 12, 2017)On the week of October 16th-21st, two of the rising stars of the “Livre-4-Pound” boxing gym in Las Vegas, Nevada, Jordanie Aguilar, 19 years-old fighting in the 108 lbs. division as well as Leslie Soto, 18 years-old in the 125 lbs, will compete at The Eastern Elite Qualifier and Regional Open Championships held at the Chattanooga Convention Center in Chattanooga, Tennessee for a national title.
The event will feature the very best fighters from across the United States and features many future stars of the division with Jordan Aguilar and Leslie Soto at the top of the list of the talent heading into next weekend’s event.
Jordanie Aguilar, a well-respected amateur, who has fought in numerous national competitions is looking to show his experience and poise as one of the favorites heading into the event.

LAS VEGAS, Nevada (Septembre 1, 2017)Unbeaten super-middleweight contender (WBA #7 et IBF #11), Caleb “Sweethands” Usine (15-0, 10 KOs), was a big hit at theEnfants Sunrise Hôpital in Las Vegas yesterday as he visited kids dealing with medical conditions. The visit was in honor of his daughter Alia, who passed away from an unknown medical condition at 19-months old, back in January of 2015. Palais de cireur,Ringside, World Boxing Council (WBC), Premier Champions de boxe (PBC), etAfficher L'Heure all donated gifts that put smiles on all the kids faces.
It was a great day for me to be visiting these kids in the hospital.” dit Caleb usine, “Seeing all the smiles on their faces made me feel good inside. “CHAPITO” VASQUEZ WINS IN FALLON RURAL RUMBLE 2017

 

 

AUGUST 14th, RENO — The Fallon Rural Rumble once again delivered a night of sensational world-class professional boxing in it’s tenth installment Samedi nuit.

 

In his first ten-round fight, Reno native and world-ranked flyweight Oscar “Chapito” Vasquez scored an impressive unanimous decision win over Javier Gallo in the evening’s main event. Vasquez improves to 14-1.

 

In the co-main, Stockton, CA sensation Gabriel Flores Jr. scored a shutout unanimous decision win over the tough Jorge Padron of Mexico. Flores improves to 3-0 (2 KOs).

 

Carson City’s Diego Elizondo also scored a shutout UD victory over Chandler Clements in his pro debut.

 

Sacramento’s Pedro Moreno improves to 7-0 (5 KOs) with an impressive second-round TKO victory over Curtis Morton.

Vito Mielnicki, Jr. places 2nd in the Golden Gloves Junior National Tournament in Mesquite, Nevada

Nutley, New Jersey (Juillet 31, 2017)Last week in Mesquite, Nevada. 15 year-old Vito Mielnicki, Jr. took 2nd place in the Golden Gloves Junior National Tournament.

What made this a special feat for Mielnicki, was that he went up five weight classes for 101 livres à 125 and narrowly lost to a split decision to the number-one ranked Luis Ybarra of Colorado.
Mielnicki is a former three-time Junior National Golden Goves champion, and was named the tournament Most Outstanding Boxer twice. Mielnicki went up in weight and fought him on the highly accomplished Ybarra on even terms.
Since the age of seven, Mielnicki has been trained by Wali Moses , who is the grandfather and trainer of 2016 Olympic Silver Medal winner Shakur Stevenson

VASQUEZ AND FLORES CO-HEADLINE TENTH ANNUAL FALLON “RURAL RUMBLE” 8/12

 

JULY 19th, RENO — The City of Fallon and Let’s Get It On Promotions are pleased to announce the tenth annual ‘Rural Rumble’. Le 12 août fight card will feature Reno’s Oscar “Chapito” Vasquez (13-1), and Gabriel Flores (2-0) de Stockton, COMME.

 

Oscar “Chapito” Vasquez, who was recently ranked #15 flyweight in the world by the World Boxing Organization, is coming off of a dominant unanimous decision victory over Armando Vasquez in June. He looks to further his world title campaign against veteran Javier Gallo (24-13-1) who is coming off of an impressive upset split decision victory over Jose Salgado in April. Vasquez versus Gallo is scheduled for ten rounds.

 

L'invaincu, passionnant, and youngest-ever signed Top Rank Inc. boxer Gabriel Flores makes his return to Northern Nevada at this year’s Rural Rumble. In his professional debut on May 5th, Flores delighted the Reno fight fans by impressively knocking out Devon Jones. On June 30th, he scored his second consecutive KO over Jahaziel Vasquez in Texas. .

 

Four other bouts are scheduled for 12 août in Fallon. Carson City’s own Diego Elizondo will be making his anticipated professional debut in a four-round lightweight fight. After impressing the boxing fans in Fallon last year, undefeated Northern California favorite Pedro Moreno (6-0) returns to the 2017 Rural Rumble in a lightweight bout. Reno Jr.-flyweight, Santos Vasquez, looks to continue his third win in a row in a six-round bout. And finally, Reno bantamweight Alec McGee (2-1) looks to get back into the win column as he, trop, returns to Fallon for the 2017 Rural Rumble in a four round scrap.

4TH ANNUAL NEVADA BOXING HALL OF FAME INDUCTION CEREMONY MEET AND GREET; FRIDAY JULY, 29, 2016

LAS VEGAS, Nevada (Juillet 27, 2016) – Le 4e Annual Nevada Boxing Hall of Fame Ceremony kicks off ce vendrediJuillet, 29, 2016, with a meet and greet at the world renowned Caesars Palace à Las Vegas. The daylong event will commence from 11:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. and take place at Caesars Palace on the 3e floor outside the Palace Ballroom in the pre function area. Boxing champions from past and present will be on hand to sign autographs and take photos with those in attendance. The event is open to the public. Charity donations, which will be donated to local boxing programs, will be accepted during the event.
Samedi Juillet, 30, 2016, eleven members of the boxing fraternity will be honored with induction into the Nevada Boxing Hall of Fame. In the boxer category, Riddick Bowe, Ray Mancini, Christy Martin, Pernell Whitaker,Ricardo Lopez et Freddie Little will be inducted, and all six have confirmed their attendance. In the non-boxer category, formateurs Kenny Adams, Thell Torrence et Johnny Tocco are the honorees, and will be joined by boxing writer Tim Dahlberg and broadcaster Jacques “Smitty” Forgeron. Malheureusement, Tocco passed away in 1997, but all of the others are confirmed to be on-scene for their inductions.
