Dopo un evento di debutto esaurito il mese scorso che ha visto 2,300 la gente prepara la Picasso Ballroom dell'Encore Boston Harbor, Murphys Boxing è orgogliosa di annunciare un immediato ritorno alla nuova apertura 2.6 resort da miliardi di dollari Venerdì, 23 agosto.


La carta impilata conterrà il ritorno negli States di uno dei combattenti più famosi di Murphys Boxing, Top 20 concorrente dei pesi medi junior classificato al mondo, Gary 'Spike’ O'Sullivan(30-3, 21 KO) e in alto 10 classificato nel mondo, Abraham Nova (15-0, 11 KO) chi difenderà il suo Campionato NABA Super Featherweight.


O’Sullivan affronterà un duro veterano argentino, Diego Marocchi (18-4-1, 14 KO) in un 8 resa dei conti rotonda che promette fuochi d'artificio tra due combattenti che non sanno come fare un passo indietro.

Murphys Boxing is proud to announce their 4th Annual St. Giorno Scontro di Patrick si terrà il Sabato, March 16th di nuovo alla House of Blues in Boston.


Headlining the stacked card will be Whitman, Massachusetts’ Mark DeLuca (22-1, 13 KO). DeLuca won a unanimous decision in what was an immediate rematch of the only blemish on his record, a split decision loss to Walter Wright, considered by most in attendance to be a robbery. Now DeLuca finds himself, not only one of the most popular fighters in New England, but also in contention for a world title shot later this year.


“Being in the Top 10 ora, I know that I’m only a phone call away from a life changing opportunity.”, explains the former Marine turned title contender.

The Cork, Ireland native who is promoted by Murphys Boxing in association with Golden Boy Promotions has moved down to the junior middleweight division where he is looking to make a splash in 2019 after finishing last year with a unanimous decision victory in his home country against the 40 fight veteran, Gabor Gorbics.


“Boston is a home away from home for me.”, says the outspoken, handlebar mustached slugger who has fought in the New England area 10 volte.


“Murphys Boxing Saint Patrick’s Day events are not to be missed. The crowd is insane and I’m coming to give them what they wanna see… a fight!”


The night will also feature a who’s who of New England’s hottest young contenders and prospects.


Murphys Boxing’s Charles Foster (17-0, 8 KO) will put his NABA Light Heavyweight Championship title on the line in a 10 round bout against Chicago’s Mike Jimenez (22-1-2, 14 KO).


The New Haven, Connecticut based Foster is a world ranked contender (#10 nel WBA) and is fresh off a national television appearance last year when he beat the previously undefeated, Alvin Varmall, Jr. su Orario Dello Spettacolo. He will face one of his toughest challenges yet against the dangerous, power punching, Jimenez whose only loss came to two-time world title challenger, Jesse Hart.


Revere, Massachusetts’ favorite son, Travis Mazac Gambardella (5-0-2, 2 KO), who trains out of the popular, KnuckleHeadz Gym in Ventura, California, will return home to try and extend his undefeated record against fellow Boston area fighter, Maceo Crowder (2-2, 1 KO) in un 6 round middleweight contest.


South Boston’s Joe Farina (4-1, 3 KO), who last fought against Gambardella, dropping a razor close majority decision on the undercard of Demetrius Andrade’s middleweight title fight at TD Garden, will look to get back in the winning column in a four round welterweight rematch against New Jersey’s Steve Moore (1-6, 1 KO) who lost a split decision to Farina last year.


In keeping with the holiday’s theme, there will be an all Irish grudge match when Lucan, Irlanda John Joyce (7-0, 4 KO) travels to America to take on Cork, Irlanda Noel Murphy (12-1-1, 2 KO), who is now based in New York City, in un 8 round welterweight clash that has Irish pride on the line.


The night will be kicked off by the highly anticipated professional debut of Mansfield, Massachusetts welterweight, James Perella. The decorated amateur fighter will turn proagainst Woburn, Massachusetts’ Bruno Dias (0-5) in un 4 round contest.

Plant City, FL (Maggio 5, 2018) – Unbeaten WBC #13 rated middleweight Yamaguchi Falcao is sick and tired of being avoided.

 

 

 

A Bronze Medalist at the 2012 Olympics representing his native Brazil, Falcao was in Canada last December helping David Lemieux prepare for his fight against WBO 160 pound champion Billy Joe Saunders. Falcao was made aware that middleweight Gary “Spike” O’Sullivan would serve as the televised co-feature for Lemieux-Saunders December 16 in Canada.

 

 

 

Upon hearing the news, Falcao and his team immediately offered to fight the more experienced O’Sullivan. The Irishman’s team reportedly did not want to face a southpaw and elected to fight Antoine Douglas. Frustrated but not deterred, Falcao kept training and hoped to face a fighter like O’Sullivan in the near future.

 

 

 

Il Maggio 4, O’Sullivan was again slated as the co-feature for a televised card, this time on ESPN’s Friday Night Fights.

 

 

Hoping the second time would be a charm, Team Falcao made it clear they’d do whatever it took for the opportunity.

 

 

Sfortunatamente, O’Sullivan elected to face Berlin Abreu, a blown up welterweight that hadn’t fought in 18 mesi.

 

 

 

To make matters worse, all but once of Abreu’s victories came in the Dominican Republic against opponents with a combined 15-266 record. O’Sullivan stopped his overmatched foe in three rounds. Multiple media outlets covering the fight reported it as a disappointing mismatch while noting O’Sullivan needs to face better opposition.

 

 

 

Con un record professionale di 28-2, O’Sullivan’s rated 5th dalla WBO, 6th by the WBA and 11thdal WBC.

 

 

 

Falcao, 15-0 (7 KO), believes he’s the superior boxer but hasn’t had the same chances as O’Sullivan and he’s literally willing to fight for the opportunity.

 

 

 

“Spike’s had a lot of favorable opportunities but when he has the chance to take on a tough challenge, he avoids it,” Falcao said from his training camp in Florida. “I twice tried to face him with no questions asked. Both times he refused to face me. I am ranked in the top 15 and you consider yourself a top fighter – why not face me? I’m ready to show the world that I’m an elite middleweight by challenging other top rated 160 pound fighters. My question to you Spike is why did you twice avoid the challenge for easier opponents? I want you to stop running from me – man up and fight me!"

 

 

 

Jody Caliguire, advisor for Team Falcao, has felt the same frustrations as his fighter and none of it has to do with their unwillingness.

 

 

 

“We’re ready for anybody on any platform. Yama has never turned down an opportunity and we’re always putting our name out there. Aside from Spike, we offered to face Demetrius Andrade, Gennady Golovkin, Jason Quigley and Danny Jacobs among others. None of those fights happened. We don’t need to have our record built up – we’re ready to face the best right now!"

Demetrius Andrade to be Ringside at Saunders – Lemieux Tonight on HBO World Championship Boxing®

White Plains, NY/Philadelphia, PA — Undefeated, two-time world champion Demetrius Andrade will be ringside for the WBO World Middleweight Title bout between undefeated champion Billy Joe Saunders and David Lemieux.
Andrade (25-0, 16 KO) made his middleweight debut on October 21st with an impressive 12-round unanimous decision over Alantez Fox and will be looking at the winner of the title fight as a possible opponent in the near future.
“I am looking forward to seeing a good fight. A boxer in Saunders against a banger in Lemieux. I am excited to be ringside for the fight, and may the best man win. The winner of the fight is a world champion, and I just want to fight the best fighters in the middleweight division.”
Andrade of Providence, Rhode Island is ranked number-3 by the WBO, number-7 by the WBC, number-3 by the WBA, and number-7 by the IBF.

Nutley, NJ (Dicembre 15, 2017)–Questo Sabato night world-ranked middleweight Antoine Douglas (22-1-1, 16 KO) will make his HBO debut when he takes on Gary O’Sullivan (26-2, 18 KO) in the co-feature bout of an HBO World Championship Boxing® tripleheader from Laval, Quebec, Canada.
The main of event will pit undefeated WBO world middleweight champion Billy Joe Saunders defending his title against Canadian knockout artist David Lemieux.
Douglas and O’Sullivan will battle for the WBO Intercontinental Middleweight title as well as Douglas defending his NABA Middleweight title with the winner moving up the line to face the winner of the main event.
Douglas’ longtime promoter GH3 Promotions’ Vito Mielnicki is excited about the opportunity that his fighter has not only il Sabato, but going forward with a new alliance with Golden Boy Promotions.
