ST. PETERSBURG, Russland (Desember 15, 2016) – M-1 Global has announced Knockout of the Night and Submission of the Night bonus performance award co-winners for last Friday night’s M-en utfordring 73: Battle of Narts i Ingusjetia, Russland.

Feared striker Magomed Idrisov (7-0-0, M-1: 4-0-0), of Russia captured the M-1 Challenge bantamweight title by knocking out defending champion John “Dette er” Buchinger (31-5-0, M-1: 6-1-0), bekjempelse av Slovakia, who rode a 10-fight win streak into M-en utfordring 73, Idrisov put Buchinger to sleep with one devastating punch in the opening round for a shocking ending.

NAZRAN, Ingushetia, Russland (Desember 9, 2016) – Rising Russian MMA star Magomed Idriosov knocked out Ivan “Dette er” Buchinger in the opening round of kveldens M-en utfordring 73: Battle of Narts main event to become M-1 Challenge bantamweight champion.
I co-feature, M-1 Challenge middleweight champion Ramazan Emeev won a hard fought three-round split decision over Anatoly Tokov in Ingushetia, Russland.
Feared as a striker, Idrisov ((7-0-0, M-1: 4-0-0) lived up to his reputation and remained undefeated as a professional, putting Buchinger to sleep with a devastating punch in round one. I sin 2013 MMA debut, Idrisov knocked out current M-1 Challenge lightweight champion Alexander Butenko in a non-M-1 Global fight. The Russian is now undefeated in four M-1 Global fights having previously defeated Yuri Maia (KO1 – punches) in the M-1 Challenge 49 Knockout of the Night, Max Coga (DEC3) and Sergej Grecicho (DEC3) in his last fight September 20, 2015 ved M-en utfordring 51.
Idrisov (R) put Buchinger to sleep to become M-1 Challenge Featherweight champion
Buchinger (31-5-0, M-1: 6-1-0), bekjempelse av Slovakia, rode a 10-fight win streak into M-en utfordring 73, losing for the first time since 2012 to Conor McGregor. Buchinger stopped Tural Ragimov to capture the vacant M-1 Challenge title October 17, 2014 ved M-en utfordring 52.

Undefeated Russian Moysar Evoloev remained undefeated (6-0-0, M-1: 6-0-0) by taking a three-round unanimous decision over American Lee “American Bulldog” Morrison (15-8-0, M-1: 2-5-0) at a 140-pound (63.5 kilo) catchweight.
Russian lightweight Khamzat Dalgiev (8-1-0, M-1: 5-1-0), fighting at home in Ingushetia, chocked British-invader Christian “The Animal” Holley (10-3-0, M-1: 0-1-0) into a submission in the second round.
Closing out the Main Card, American bantamweight “The Punisher” Josh Rettinghouse (14-4-0, M-1: 2-0-0) stopped his Kazakh opponent, Sergey Morozov (6-2-0, M-1: 3-2-0), i første runde.

Morrison (15-7-0, M-1: 2-4-0) and Rettinghouse (13-4-0, M-1: 1-0-0) are both fighting out of the state of Washington.
Morrison faces undefeated Russian prospect Moysar Evoloev (5-0-0, M-1: 5-0-0) in a fight contested at a 140-pounds (63.5 kilo) catchweight. Morrison is a grappler (see photo below with him in top position) who defeated current M-1 Challenge bantamweight title-holder Pavel Vitruk by decision at M-en utfordring 58.
Fighting at home in Ingushetia, Evloev is also a grappler who is coming off a first-round knockout of Alexander Krupenkin this past May at M-en utfordring 66 (pictured below).
Rettinghouse, den King of the Cage mester, tar på Sergey Morozov (6-1-0, M-1: 3-1-0) in a bantamweight with future title implications for the winner.
A submission master who has a strong Brazilian Ju-Jitsu background, Rettinghouse is coming off his successful M-1 Global debut this past May at M-en utfordring 66, in which Rettinghouse stopped Vadim Zhloboch in the opening round due to an injury.
Morozov, fighting out of Kazakhstan, is an outstanding striker and well-rounded MMA fighter. He was on the wrong end of the M-en utfordring 68 Fight of the Night last July in a loss by decision to Rafael Dias.
Ved M-en utfordring 59, Morozov (pictured below) was awarded the Knockout of the Night award for his demolishing of Andy Young a year ago July.
An impressive victory will position the Rettinghouse-Morozov winner for a potential M-1 Challenge bantamweight title fight with defending champion Vitruk.

Buchinger (31-4-0, M-1: 6-0-0), bekjempelse av Slovakia, is riding a 10-fight win streak into M-en utfordring 73 since he lost to Conor McGregor i 2012. He captured the vacant M-1 Challenge title October 17, 2014 ved M-en utfordring 52, stoppe Kulturelt Nizami (see picture below) in the fourth round on punches in their Fight of the Night. Buchinger made a successful title defense 13 months ago at M-en utfordring 62, taking a 5-round unanimous decision over Mansour Korobkov. I sin siste kamp, this past June against Mikhail Korobkov ved M-en utfordring 67, Buchinger needed only 4:41 of the opening round to choke his opponent into a submission in their non-title fight.
Idrisov is a strong striker and Russian Whu-Shu Sanda champion. He knockout current M-1 Challenge lightweight champion Alexander Butenko in his professional MMA debut, back in 2013 in a non-M-1 Global fight. His three M-1 Global victories have been against Yuri Maia (KO1 – punches) i M-en utfordring 49 Knockout of the Night, Max Coga (DEC3) og Sergei Grecicho (DEC3) in his last fight September 20, 2015 ved M-en utfordring 51 (see picture below).

New M-1 Challenge lightweight champion Alexander Butenko
BAKU, Aserbajdsjan (Juni 5, 2016) — Ukrainian fighter Alexander Butenko won a hard fought 5-round decision over Artiom Damkovsky last night to become the new M-1 Challenge lightweight champion in the M-en utfordring 67 main event in Baku, Aserbajdsjan.
Butenko (41-11-2) and Damkovsky (20-10-0) battled from start to finish with Buntenko winning a unanimous decision to capture the vacant M-1 Challenge lightweight title.
I co-feature, M-1 Challenge fjærvekt mester John “Dette er” Buchinger (31-4-0), of Slovakia, used a North-South choke to submit his late replacement opponent, Russisk Mikhail Korobkov (9-2-0), in a non-title fight.
Red-hot Kazakh welterweight Shavat Rakhmonov (6-0-0) kept rolling, knocking out Brazilian Marcelo Brito (13-8-0) i åpningsrunden. Hjemby favoritt Etigat Adakishniev (1-1-0) won his first professional fight, submitting Spaniard Adrian Perez (3-2-0) by way of a guillotine choke.
Czech Republic had two winners on the main card as middleweight Talekh Nadzhafadz (5-1-0) won a 3-round decision over his Spanish opponent, Felipe “Biggi” Nsue (11-10-0), while heavyweight Zauer Gadzhibabayev (5-1-0) used a rear naked choke to submit Bulgarian Lazar Todev (2-3-0).

PETERSBURG, Russland (Juni 1, 2016) – A sudden illness has forced Magomed Idrisov to withdraw from his scheduled M-1 Challenge featherweight title fight denne lørdagen (Juni 4) against defending champion John “Dette er” Buchinger ved M-en utfordring 67: Battle in the Land of Fireat Baku, Aserbajdsjan.

Mikhail Korobkov (9-1-1, M-1: 0-1-1), av Russland, is the late replacement for Idrisov but, due to Korobkov coming off of a loss in his last fight (decision to Timur Nagibin last Friday atM-en utfordring 66), his fight versus Buchinger (30-4-0, M-1: 5-0-0) is a not for the title and it has been downgraded from main event to co-feature. Buchinger, bekjempelse av Slovakia, has won his last nine fights dating back four years.
The new main event matches Alexander “Iron Capture” Butenko (40-11-2, M-1: 7-1-0), i Ukraina, and BelarussianArtiom Damkovsky (20-9-0. M-1: 10-6-0) for den ledige M-1 Challenge lett mesterskapet.

Buchinger (30-4-0, M-1: 5-0-0), fighting out of his native Slovakia, captured the vacant M-1 Challenge featherweight title 1-½ years ago at M-en utfordring 52, stoppe Kulturelt Nizami (see picture below) in the fourth round on punches. His lone title defense last October was a decision win over current M-1 Challenge lightweight championMansour Barnaoui ved M-en utfordring 62. Undefeated in his last nine fights, dating back four years, Buchinger is 5-0 i M-1 Global konkurranse.
Fighting out of Russia, Idrisov (6-0-0, M-1: 3-0-0) is the European Wu-Sanda champion. He has three wins in M-1 Global fights, including a pair of notable decisions over Max Coga mai i fjor på M-en utfordring 57, and in his last fight this past December against Sergei Grecicho (see picture below) på M-1 Challenge 61.

Den 29 år gamle Grecicho (21-6-0, 2 KO / TKO, 16 SUB) is a submission specialist whose victims have primarily fallen to his choke holds. He has won 11 av hans siste 13 fights during the past three years and he’s never been knocked out during his entire MMA professional career. Grechico will be making his M-1 Global debut.
