Ingusjetia, Russland (Oktober 22, 2016) – Former two-time M-1 Challenge light heavyweight champion Viktor Nemkov put himself in position for another title shot and Pavel Vitruk became the first M-1 Challenge Bantamweight Champion at last night’s entertaining M-en utfordring 71 i Ingusjetia, Russland.
Kasakhstan-innfødte Nemkov (24-6-0, M-1: 17-5-0), fighting out of Stary Oskol, Russland, won a three-round unanimous decision from former Bellator champion AttilaPumukliVegh(29-8-2, M-1: 0-2-0), of Slovakia, i hovedturneringen.

New M-1 Challenge lightweight champion Alexander Butenko
BAKU, Aserbajdsjan (Juni 5, 2016) — Ukrainian fighter Alexander Butenko won a hard fought 5-round decision over Artiom Damkovsky last night to become the new M-1 Challenge lightweight champion in the M-en utfordring 67 main event in Baku, Aserbajdsjan.
Butenko (41-11-2) and Damkovsky (20-10-0) battled from start to finish with Buntenko winning a unanimous decision to capture the vacant M-1 Challenge lightweight title.
I co-feature, M-1 Challenge fjærvekt mester John “Dette er” Buchinger (31-4-0), of Slovakia, used a North-South choke to submit his late replacement opponent, Russisk Mikhail Korobkov (9-2-0), in a non-title fight.
Red-hot Kazakh welterweight Shavat Rakhmonov (6-0-0) kept rolling, knocking out Brazilian Marcelo Brito (13-8-0) i åpningsrunden. Hjemby favoritt Etigat Adakishniev (1-1-0) won his first professional fight, submitting Spaniard Adrian Perez (3-2-0) by way of a guillotine choke.

PETERSBURG, Russland (Juni 1, 2016) – A sudden illness has forced Magomed Idrisov to withdraw from his scheduled M-1 Challenge featherweight title fight denne lørdagen (Juni 4) against defending champion John “Dette er” Buchinger ved M-en utfordring 67: Battle in the Land of Fireat Baku, Aserbajdsjan.

Mikhail Korobkov (9-1-1, M-1: 0-1-1), av Russland, is the late replacement for Idrisov but, due to Korobkov coming off of a loss in his last fight (decision to Timur Nagibin last Friday atM-en utfordring 66), his fight versus Buchinger (30-4-0, M-1: 5-0-0) is a not for the title and it has been downgraded from main event to co-feature. Buchinger, bekjempelse av Slovakia, has won his last nine fights dating back four years.

ST. PETERSBURG, Russland (Mai 5, 2016) – M-1 Global has announced that M-1 Challenge featherweight champion John “Dette er” Buchinger will defend his title against undefeated challenger Magomed Idrisov, taktrekk M-en utfordring 67, Juni 4 at Baku, Aserbajdsjan.
Also announced is a fight between undefeated Kazakh welterweight prospect Shavkat Rakjmonov and Brazilian veteran Carlos Alexandre “Indio” Pear.

Buchinger (30-4-0, M-1: 5-0-0), fighting out of his native Slovakia, captured the vacant M-1 Challenge featherweight title 1-½ years ago at M-en utfordring 52, stoppe Kulturelt Nizami (see picture below) in the fourth round on punches. His lone title defense last October was a decision win over current M-1 Challenge lightweight championMansour Barnaoui ved M-en utfordring 62. Undefeated in his last nine fights, dating back four years, Buchinger is 5-0 i M-1 Global konkurranse.
Fighting out of Russia, Idrisov (6-0-0, M-1: 3-0-0) is the European Wu-Sanda champion. He has three wins in M-1 Global fights, including a pair of notable decisions over Max Coga mai i fjor på M-en utfordring 57, and in his last fight this past December against Sergei Grecicho (see picture below) på M-1 Challenge 61.
Rakhmonov vs. Pereira is a classic clash between young and old, Combat Sambo and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu specialists.
The 21-year-old Rakhmonov (5-0-0, M-1: 3-0-0) was a decorated MMA amateur who has won two Submission of the Night honors in only three M-1 Global events againstMichal Wienek last July at M-en utfordring 59, and versus Adam Tsurpov (pictured below) Oktober 17, 2014 in Rakhmonov’s professional debut.

Pear, 37, won Submission of the Night in his only M-1 Global fight to date, last September against Ruslan Zhemuklkov (see picture below) ved M-en utfordring 61.
