RENO’S JJ MARIANO TO MAKE PRO DEBUT / CARSON CITY’S ELIZONDO RETURNS TO RING JUNE 8TH

30.května, RENO — Northern Nevadans JJ Mariano and Diego Elizondo are scheduled to fight on the June 8th world-championship boxing card at the Reno-Sparks Convention Center. The event is presented by Top Rank Inc., Pojďme Get It On Promotions, and the Atlantis Casino Resort Spa. The evening’s feature attraction matches World Champion Oscar Valdez (25-0, 20 KO) against Jason Sanchez (14-0, 7 KO) for the WBO Featherweight World Title.  



Making his highly anticipated pro debut, Reno’s own JJ Mariano will be fighting William Flenoy of Fresno in a four-round jr. welterweight bout. Mariano, who has been exciting local boxing fans by fighting for University of Nevada Reno’s boxing program, is ready to throw his hat into the prize ring.  

“I’ve been looking forward to fighting professionally for about a year now.” Says Mariano. “Being able to have your first pro fight in your hometown is something special.”

Mariano, who is a Reed High School graduate, has also recently participated in various Golden Glove tournaments.

In a battle of undefeated prospects, Lehký Carson City Diego Elizondo (2-0-1) will be fighting Sacramento’s Sergio Vega (2-0) in a four-round match. After a layoff, Elizondo is eager to get back into the squared-circle.

“I have bigger plans in boxing.” Says Elizondo.  “A win over Vega will be a step in the right direction.”


Valdez-Sanchez and the 10-round co-feature will be televised live on ESPN and ESPN Deportes at 10 p.m. ET / 7 p.m. PT. Undercard bouts will stream live on ESPN+, the leading multi-sport streaming service, začínající na 6:30 p.m. A / 3:30 p.m. PT.

30. dubna, RENO — Karta je připravena na světovou boxerskou událost 4. května, kterou pořádají Let’s Get It On Promotions a Atlantis Casino Resort and Spa v Reno-Sparks Convention Center. Večerní atrakce přitahuje světově proslulého Oscara „El Chapito“ Vasqueza (15-1) proti Ricardovi „El Niño“ Sandovalovi (12-1) v osmi kolech, bitva se superlehkou váhou. Velkolepý undercard doplňuje hlavní událost.

 

 

 

Neporažený vyhlídkový a vyřazovací stroj v těžké váze, Frank „Freedom Fighter“ Sanchez (5-0, 5 KO), byl přidán na kartu 4. května. Sanchez se narodil a vyrůstal v zálivu Guantánamo na Kubě. Ve své rodné zemi, soutěžil ve více než dvou stech boxerských zápasů jako amatér. Utekl z Kuby 2016 a vydal se do Las Vegas, kde podepsal manažerskou smlouvu s rozhodčím Síně slávy ve výslužbě Richardem Steeleem. Sanchez bude bojovat s veteránem Lamontem Capersem (9-11) v šestikolové bitvě.

4.dubna, RENO — Let’s Get It On Promotions and the Atlantis Casino Resort and Spa are pleased to announce “The Main Event” – an exciting night of world-class professional boxing Friday, May 4th, 2018 at the Reno/Sparks Convention Center. Oscar “El Chapito” Vasquez (15-1) proti. Ricardo “El Niño” Sandoval (12-1) are matched in the main event.

 

 

 

 

In a sensational eight-round super-flyweight bout, Reno’s own Oscar Vasquez will be facing his toughest foe yet. Reno boxing fans remember Ricardo Sandoval (Tijuana, MX) when he faced the tough Brent Venegas last November. Sandoval earned the decision over Venegas in an action-packed brawl. Sandoval has earned three more wins since then. Many consider Vasquez vs. Sandoval to be a pick-em fight.

 

 

 

 

“It’s a coinflip.” Says Let’s Get It On Promotions’ Tommy Lane. “Both guys come forward, both like to exchange punches. It will be a very exciting fight.”

 

 

 

 

Vasquez, who is ranked in the top 15 at flyweight, is knocking at the door of a big opportunity. Sandoval has quickly earned a name for himself at the super flyweight division as well. A win for either will surely present bigger opportunities.

 

 

 

 

An exciting undercard will supplement Vasquez vs. Sandoval on May 4th.

 

 

 

 

Lehký Carson City Diego Elizondo (2-0) and Reno’s rising star Ricardo “The Dreamer” Lucio-Galvan (2-0, 2 KO), a featherweight, will both be returning to the ring that evening in separate bouts. Lucio-Galvan, also a sophomore at UNR, is coming off of a sensational second-round TKO victory over Kenny Guzman on the Beltran vs. Moses card in February.

 

 

 

 

Cruiserweight Blake “The Beast” McKernan (7-0, 5 KO) of Sacramento will be making his way over the mountains to fight May 4th. McKernan, an Army Veteran who served in Iraq, is looking to remain undefeated in a six-round bout.

October 18th, RENO — Let’s Get It On Promotions and the Atlantis Casino Resort and Spa are pleased to announce an exciting night of world-class professional boxing Sobota, 17.listopadu, 2017 at the Reno/Sparks Convention Center. The card will be co-headlined by lightweight sensation Gabriel Flores Jr., and Reno’s own Oscar Vasquez in separate bouts.

 

The youngest-ever Top Rank Inc. signed fighter, Gabe Flores Jr. (4-0, 3KO) is on a meteoric rise in the fight game. The Stockton, CA seventeen-year-old manages to fight as he is completing high school. For the third time he will fight in Northern Nevada, where he regularly draws hundreds from his hometown. Flores will fight in a four-round lightweight bout.

 

Reno’s own Oscar Vasquez (14-1) is coming off an impressive ten-round unanimous decision victory this August in Fallon against the tough Javier Gallo. Vasquez is currently ranked fifteenth in the world in the flyweight division by the World Boxing Organization. Vasquez will be fighting Victory Ruiz (22-7) in a ten-round fight.

 

Ricardo Lucio Galvan, also from Reno, will be making his pro debut on 17.listopadu. Galvan, a second-year business major at UNR, is also a Dreamer. He is enrolled in the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program (DACA) and hopes he can use his boxing career to bring awareness to the issue. He is an experience amateur with nearly eighty bouts. Galvan will be fighting in a four-round jr. lightweight bout.

 

Carson City’s Diego Elizondo (1-0) will be returning to the ring on 17.listopadu after beating Chandler Clements via unanimous decision in Fallon in August. Elizondo attributes his toughness to his Basque and Mexican heritage. He will be fighting in a four-round lightweight bout.

 

Super flyweight Bruno Escalante (14-3-1) of Redwood City, CA is slated to fight in a six-round bout in Reno. Escalante is trying to get his world title run back on track after some recent bumps in the road. Born in Cebu City, Filipíny, Escalante is one of a handful of young Filipino boxers who are carrying the torch for Pinoy boxing. Escalante will be fighting the tough Alex Rangel (17-7).

 

Rounding out the card is bantamweight Brent Venegas (3-0) Stockton, JAKO. Venegas is scheduled for a four-round scrap.

VASQUEZ AND FLORES CO-HEADLINE TENTH ANNUAL FALLON “RURAL RUMBLE” 8/12

JULY 19th, RENO — The City of Fallon and Let’s Get It On Promotions are pleased to announce the tenth annual ‘Rural Rumble’. The August 12th fight card will feature Reno’s Oscar “Chapito” Vasquez (13-1), and Gabriel Flores (2-0) Stockton, JAKO.

 

Oscar “Chapito” Vasquez, who was recently ranked #15 flyweight in the world by the World Boxing Organization, is coming off of a dominant unanimous decision victory over Armando Vasquez in June. He looks to further his world title campaign against veteran Javier Gallo (24-13-1) who is coming off of an impressive upset split decision victory over Jose Salgado in April. Vasquez versus Gallo is scheduled for ten rounds.

 

Neporažený, vzrušující, and youngest-ever signed Top Rank Inc. boxer Gabriel Flores makes his return to Northern Nevada at this year’s Rural Rumble. In his professional debut on May 5th, Flores delighted the Reno fight fans by impressively knocking out Devon Jones. On June 30th, he scored his second consecutive KO over Jahaziel Vasquez in Texas. .

 

Four other bouts are scheduled for August 12th in Fallon. Carson City’s own Diego Elizondo will be making his anticipated professional debut in a four-round lightweight fight. After impressing the boxing fans in Fallon last year, undefeated Northern California favorite Pedro Moreno (6-0) returns to the 2017 Rural Rumble in a lightweight bout. Reno Jr.-flyweight, Santos Vasquez, looks to continue his third win in a row in a six-round bout. And finally, Reno bantamweight Alec McGee (2-1) looks to get back into the win column as he, také, returns to Fallon for the 2017 Rural Rumble in a four round scrap.

June 8th, RENO — The final touches for Sobotní world-class boxing event have been finalized by Let’s Get It On Promotions and the Atlantis Casino Resort and Spa. The full professional boxing card will take place At Atlantis’ Paradise Ballroom 7 Premiér Sobota.

 

June 11th’s card will be headlined by Reno’s own Oscar Vasquez (9-1) as he faces Mexico’s Javier Lapizco (7-3) of in an eight-round flyweight bout.

 

Oscar’s younger brother, Santos, will also be fighting v sobotu. Santos will be fighting Nestor Hernandez of Seattle, WA in a junior-flyweight bout.

 

Two of Reno’s amateur boxing stars will be making their highly-anticipated professional debuts in separate bouts. Alec McGee will be debuting in four-round fight in the bantamweight division against Mulapi Enjani of San Diego, JAKO. Kenny Davis Jr. will be fighting Jose Luis Gallegos of Bakersfield, CA in a four-round featherweight bout.

 

In a four-round junior-lightweight contest, Sacramento’s Rafael Busuioe will face Kevin Davila of Seattle.

MAY 18th, RENO — Let’s Get It On Promotions and the Atlantis Casino Resort and Spa are pleased to announce an evening of world-class professional boxing on Sobota, 11. června, 2016 in Atlantis’ Paradise Ballroom. The evening’s main event will feature is local Reno favorite Oscar Vasquez (9-1). Vasquez, a popular local flyweight, will be featured in an eight-round bout.

 

Vasquez, who recently entered into a long-term promotional agreement with Let’s Get It On Promotions, looks to continue his campaign towards world title contention. Ve svém posledním zápase, Vasquez scored a sensational knockout win over Jose Toribio in Fallon, NV.

OSCAR "CHAPITO" Vasquez SKÓRE BIG K.O. V SOBOTU

AUG 25th, RENO, — Muší váha Oscar "Marquee" Vasquez (9-1 2 KO) získal deváté vítězství tím, že zastaví San Diego José Toribio (6-2) Sobota noc v Fallon, NV.

 

The scheduled eight-round contest was action packed from the opening bell with both fighters having their moments. Vasquez’s stuck to boxing while Toribio pushed the action. As the bout moved to the final rounds, Toribio began to land more punches than he had been able to in previous rounds. JR muší váha OSCAR Vasquez hřišť shutout v Las Vegas

17.března, RENO — Reno Jr. Muší váha vyhlídka Oscar Vasquez zlepšuje se 8-1 by decisioning Mexika Cesar Sustaita (3-2, 3 CENY) v šesti dokola záchvat Sobota v Las Vegas.

V rámci akce baleny, toe-to-toe srážka, Sustaita matched Vasquez’s aggression throughout the fight with Oscar landing the cleaner punches. In a heated exchange in the sixth round, levý hák podlahou Sustaita, ale vzpamatoval a bojoval na závěrečnou zvonu.

Uvádí Pochiro akce a RHP, “Showdown at Sam’s Town 3” will once again feature a night of world class professional boxing at Sam’s Town resort. In a Jr. Muší váha six-round šrot, Vasquez je nastavena na tvář Cesar Sustaita (3-1, 3 KO) Chihuahua, Mexiko.
