Spence Jr. and Bundu spoke to media at Via Della Pace in downtown Manhattan before they visited Coney Island for photo-ops ahead of their Dimanche bout in the Brooklyn venue. Voici ce que les participants avaient à dire Jeudi:

“This has been a long camp. I’m in great shape and I’ve had strong sparring partners throughout. Bundu is a very good fighter. He’s experienced and technically sound, but he can be awkward.

“We went up the rankings trying to find an opponent. A lot of guys didn’t want to fight me, even in a title eliminator. So I want to thank Bundu for taking the fight.
“I’m not worried about what’s going to happen next. I know what’s next if I take care of my business. If I win I’m guaranteed a chance at the world title. I want the title fight sooner rather than later.
“We try to break down an opponent’s weakness in camp. But we’re also looking at what they do right. We have to capitalize on everything. My trainer will watch the video and talk about what he sees. It’s a lot of communication in the gym.
“I love sparring with younger guys. Preferably amateurs or guys who just turned pro. They have more to prove in a sparring session. They really push me and help make me better.

BROOKLYN (Août 15, 2016) -Invaincu étoile montante Errol “La Vérité” Spence Jr.is leaning on his experience as part of the 2012 U.S.. Olympic team as he nears a world title eliminator on network television and eventually a world title shot.
“People ask if I’m nervous about headlining big fights, but I’ve already fought on the biggest stage you can fight on at the Olympics,” dit Spence Jr. “I was fighting in front of the whole world and it got me ready for where I’m at today.”
The 26-year-old will take on once-beaten Italian contender Leonard “Le lion” Bundu in a welterweight world title eliminator that headlines Premier Champions de boxe sur NBC Dimanche, Août 21 from Ford Amphitheater at Coney Island Boardwalk in Brooklyn.
Televised coverage begins on NBC at 5 p.m. ET/2 p.m. PT following the Olympic Men’s Basketball Gold Medal Game. For Spence Jr., it was the experience of being around world class athletes such as the members of the USA Men’s Basketball team that he remembers most vividly about his time in London.
“I’ll never forget meeting all of the athletes that I had grown up watching,” dit Spence Jr. “I got to meet Kobe Bryant, James Lebron, the Williams sisters and Usain Bolt. Just being able to talk to them and be around them was amazing. I was an Olympian just like them.
“It was a big moment for me when people like that would recognize me and tell me they were going to come watch me fight. That’s something I’ll always remember.”
While Spence Jr. had the best run of any of the men on the 2012 U.S.. équipe, he came up short of his goal of bringing home a medal for his country. Despite that, Spence Jr. wouldn’t change anything about his 2012 de l'expérience.

“I wish them the best of luck and I think we definitely have some gold medal hopefuls like Shakur Stevenson and Claressa Shields. They’re going to come home with gold and it’s going to be big for U.S boxing.”

LAS VEGAS, Nevada – Août 2, 2016 – The Olympic Games hold a special meaning for the many Premier Champions de boxe series boxers who competed in past Olympiads. In a series of special video vignettes and articles on the Premier Boxing Champions site Internet, previous Olympians like heavyweight world champion Deontay Wilder (Bronze medal winner in 2008 Beijing Games); Rau'shee Warren, the only U.S. boxer to participate in three Olympics (2004, 2008 et 2012); and Errol Spence (2012 London Games) will offer encouragement to members of the 2016 U.S.. équipe olympique de boxe. “This is another great opportunity for me to gain exposure on NBC,” dit Spence Jr. “A lot of people will be watching because of the Olympics that may not have known my name before. As an Olympian, headlining a major event four years after my Olympic run is exciting. Bundu is an older fighter, but he’s tough and has a lot of experience. He fought well against Keith Thurman. Thurman outboxed him but couldn’t knock him out. I think I can make a big statement in the division if I can stop him, as I did with Chris Algieri.”
“I am going to use my experience to my advantage on August 21,” said Bundu. “When I fought Thurman I ended up being overcautious, but that will not be the case this time. I know it’s now or never for me and I won’t let this chance slip away. Spence will come forward but that will work to my advantage because I love fighting on the inside. I’m going to show Spence a few things that he hasn’t seen before.”
The brand new Ford Amphitheater at Coney Island Boardwalk builds on the rich history of the sweet science in the Brooklyn neighborhood. Several heavyweight title fights took place on Coney Island at the turn of the 20th century, including James J. Jeffries’ heavyweight world title knock out of Bob Fitzsimmons in the 11e round on June 9, 1899. Jeffries would then defend the title two more times on Coney Island with a points victory over Tom Sharkey and a knockout in the 23e round against James J. Corbett. Lightweight great Joe Gans and former middleweight champion “Sans égal” Jack Dempsey also boxed in Coney Island.

Spence Jr. is widely regarded as a future star in the sport and was dominant in his previous NBC appearances when he stopped Phil Lo Greco in the third round in June. His impressive 2015 also included TKO victories over Chris van Heerden, Samuel Vargas and Alejandro Barrera, culminating with him being named ESPN’s Prospect of the Year. Maintenant, he looks to secure himself a world title shot.
Originally from Sierra Leone but fighting out of Toscana, Italie, Bundu represented Italy at the 2000 Olympic games where he defeated eventual world champion Daniel Geale. ADONIS “SUPERMAN” STEVENSON triture TOMMY Karpency POUR CONSERVER LEGERS DE LA COURONNE
Toronto (Septembre 11, 2015) – C'était 30 ans depuis un combat pour le titre de championnat du monde a été menée à Toronto – et la foule exubérante au Ricoh Coliseum accueilli la boxe de retour à l'action percutante sur la carte principale télévisée des Champions de boxe Premier sur Spike.

“Superman” Adonis Stevenson (26-1), le champion des lourds légers du monde a mis sa ceinture convoitée sur la ligne en face de ses compatriotes canadiens compatriotes contre le challenger américain graveleuse Tommy Karpency (25-4-1). Tenter d'être à la kryptonite “Superman,” Karpency a été surclassée par l'Stevenson plus forte et plus rapide. Dans la co-métrage, Errol Spence Jr. (17-0) mettre sa fiche parfaite sur la ligne dans le combat d'ouverture de la carte principale contre le poids welter Afrique du Sud Chris Van Heerden dangereuse (23-1-1) au guidon d'une série de victoires 9 combat.

Spence, une 2012 Olympien, montré hors de son monde- pedigree de classe en frappant son adversaire avec des coups de corps brutaux et une rafale de coups qui ont presque fermé l'œil gauche de Van Heerden. Après deux passes rabattues en 7e ronde, La performance dominante de Spence a été ponctuée par une rafale de coups de poing qui a conduit l'arbitre Alan Huggins d'arrêter le combat au 50 secondes du premier round 8.

Spence va maintenant jeté son dévolu sur gravir les échelons dans la division poids welter talentueux occupé par de grands noms comme Keith Thurman et Shawn Porter.

Lorsqu'on lui a demandé dans le ring ce qui est à côté pour lui il a répondu “Je veux me battre n'importe qui dans le top 10- Je pense que je le mérite.”

Également sur la carte télévisée, ancien champion poids welter léger “Méchant” Vivien Harris (32-10-2) de Brooklyn, NY lutté invaincu perspective Prichard Colon (15-0) de Porto Rico. Colon a dévoilé son pouvoir comme il a dominé son adversaire vétéran – terminer le combat à 1:03 au 4e tour avec un KO punitif. L'étoile montante, qui a honoré les victimes de 9-11 sa robe, est optimiste sur son avenir. “Il est bon de mettre une victoire sur un ancien champion du monde sur mon CV.”

Le Septembre 11 Premier Champions de boxe (PBC) sur Épi headliningfight dispose champion du monde des lourds légers Adonis “Superman” Stevenson (26-1, 21 KOs) comme il défend contre Tommy “Kryptonite” Karpency(25-4-1, 14 KOs) plus 2012 U.S.. L'étoile montante de poids welter olympien et invaincu Errol “La Vérité” Spence Jr. (17-0, 14 KOs) luttant slick gaucher Chris “La chaleur” van Heerden (23-1-1, 12 KOs) dans le premier match télévisé à 9 p.m. ET/PT.

Pour compléter la soirée de combats est de 27 ans, olympienne canadienne Custio Clayton (4-0, 3 KOs) face à 31 ans David Doria (12-0-1, 4 KOs) de Bayern, Allemagne dans un six rounds des super-welters combat, 34-Natif de Toronto âgé d'un an Sablonneux “Lil’ Tyson” Tsagouris contre 32 ans australienne Shannon “Fusil de chasse” O'Connell (11-3, 6 KOs) dans une plume attraction six ronde.
Aussi monter sur le ring est ukrainien Oleksandr Teslenko qui fait ses débuts professionnels contre 22 ans Hongrois Attila Pinter (5-2, 4 KOs) dans une affaire de quatre rounds des poids lourds et 24 ans Michael Affainie (2-0, 2 KOs) hors de l'Ontario, qui est réglé pour faire face à 26 ans Shane Upshaw (1-1-4, 1 KO) de la Nouvelle-Écosse dans un quatre rondes super mi-moyens combat.
Comme un amateur, Colon a été cinq fois champion national Puerto Rico avant de passer pro en 2013. Formé par son père, Colon a été stylistiquement par rapport à son compatriote Felix Trinidad, avec tous, mais l'un de ses coups de grâce venant en cinq rounds ou moins. Le 22-year-old a marqué un KO spectaculaire dans son dernier combat plus difficile vétéran Michael Finney et tenteront de garder son élan en Septembre 11 quand il prend la 37-year-old ancien champion Harris qui se bat sur de Brooklyn par le biais de la Guyane.
Né à East Meadow, New Jersey, mais un combattant de Richmond, Virginie, Aleem a été introduit à la boxe dès son jeune âge par ses parents. Depuis de passer pro en 2012 à l'âge 18, le 21-year-old a effacé la totalité de la compétition devant lui. Dans son dernier départ, il fait face à son adversaire plus expérimenté et était en mesure de livrer un arrêt de premier tour dans le combat contre David Toribio.
Un autre jeune combattant de talent pour sortir de Cincinnati au cours des dernières années, Clark cite Aaron Pryor comme l'une de ses idoles de boxe. La nappe de 20 ans a récemment terminé son premier combat de six rondes avec une décision unanime sur Jonathan Garcia mai. Il revient sur Septembre 11 cherchent à en faire un parfait sept victoires en sept départs pour commencer sa carrière pro.
Un amateur accompli de Roumanie, Dan se bat sur de Montréal et espère commencer son ascension vers une deuxième opportunité de championnat du monde en face de ses fans ville natale adoptées sur Septembre 11. Le 34-year-old possède deux victoires sur Kevin Bizier rivale canadienne ainsi triomphe de Steve Forbes et Damian Frias. Il sera opposé par le 30-year-old Giuriceo sur Youngstown, Ohio, qui était invaincu dans sa première 17 combats professionnels.
Combats sur l'Ontario, le bagarreur passionnante Carman dirige sur le ring cherchent à défendre le titre de champion canadien qu'il a gagné avec un arrêt de septième ronde de Eric Martel Bahoeli en Octobre 2014. Il a suivi avec une autre victoire arrêt de la fin, cette fois sur Benito Quiroz dans Mars. Le 29-year-old est confronté au défi de profil le plus élevé de sa carrière quand il étapes dans le ring avec le 51-year-old Ruddock. Combats de l'Ontario par le biais de la Jamaïque, Ruddock a gagné deux fois en 2015 depuis sortant d'un départ à la retraite de 14 ans. Ruddock a été dans le ring avec l'un des meilleurs de tous les temps, deux fois face à Mike Tyson et Lennox Lewis a également combattre dans leurs nombres premiers.
Le 33-year-old Cave a eu une carrière réussie combattant de la Nouvelle-Écosse, Canada et vise à faire comprendre à nouveau les fans de son pays d'origine. Il entre dans ce concours sur un trois lutte série de victoires, tout en 2015, avec deux se terminant par l'arrêt. Il entre dans le ring contre le 36-year-old Paniagua qui se bat sur de Santa Fe, Argentine et vient de connaître une victoire Août sur Diego Miguel Ramirez.
