Also in attendance Wednesday was super middleweight world champion Caleb Truax, who rematches former champion James Degale in the co-featured attraction. LAS VEGAS (April 4, 2018) – Mexican bantamweight Tony Lopez, Jr. (13-3, 4 KOs) believes an impressive victory April 20th over his Roy Jones Jr., Boxen Promotions (RJJ) stablemate, unbeaten bantamweight prospect “Der Baby-Faced Assassin” Max Ornelas (10-0-1, 4 KOs), will get him back in the mix.

 

Ornelas vs. Lopez, Jr., presented RJJ Boxing Promotions, will air live on beIN Sports, ab 10 p.m. UND / 7 p.m. PT, from Cox Pavilion on the University of Nevada at Las Vegas campus.

 

 

 

 

The vacant World Boxing Association (WBA) North American Boxing Association (Auch Noch) USA bantamweight title will be on the line in the eight-round main event.

 

 

 

 

A UNLV sophomore who lives in Las Vegas, the 19-year-old Ornelas is ranked by the World Boxing Association (WBA) bei No. 14 in der Welt. “I’ve had several fights where my role was reversed, and I was fighting in my hometown in front of my fans, friends and family,” Dallas resident Lopez, Jr. spoke about fighting Ornelas on the road. “I wanted to put on a show and they were screaming like crazy before the opening bell. He has a lot of holes and me being the more experienced fighter, I plan to expose some of those holes.

 

 

 

 

“Back in May of 2016, I fought and undefeated opponent, Jerren Cochran (11-0-1), and I knew it was an audition for Roy and RJJ. I came out in a full attack mode because I wanted to make a statement. HARTFORD, Conn. (April 4, 2018) – Professional boxing’s newest promotional company, Hartford Boxing Promotions, has announced its official formation, as well as tentative plans calling for its inaugural event this summer in Hartford.

 

 

 

Boxing trainer Tony weiß and his Hartford-based House of Boxing gym partner, Michael Tran, have teamed with their undefeated light heavyweight prospect, Richard “Popeye der Seemann” Rivera (6-0, 5 KOs), to form Hartford Boxing Promotions. Rivera is one of the best and most popular pro fighters in New England.

 

 

 

“We want to bring boxing back to Hartford,” Blanco addressed why they founded this new promotional company. “Hartford is a hotbed of boxing. There’s a lot of talent here and Hartford has a rich boxing history.

 

 

 

“We hope to promote our first show on June 16th, subject to Connecticut Boxing Commission approval, at Xfinity Theatre in Hartford. It’s owned by Live Nation and has been used only as a concert hall, but it has an old-school feel and will be an awesome venue for boxing. We’re excited about promoting events in this new venue for boxing.”

 

 

 

Boxing’s roots in the Hartford market dates back nearly a full century, headlined by International Hall of Famers pimmel “Will o’ the Wisp” Pep und Christopher “Battling” Battalino. MIDDLEWEIGHT BOUT ANNOUNCED FOR APRIL 14 FIGHT CARD IN PORTLAND

Portland, Maine (April 4, 2018) - New England Fights (NEF) returns to Aura in Portland on April 14, 2018 mit der nächsten Mixed-Martial-Arts-Veranstaltung Kampf Förderung, “NEF 33: Riptide.” Bereits heute Morgen, NEF announced the addition of an amateur middleweight bout to the card. Kennzeichen “Pockets” Gardner (1-0) treffen Brandon Schwink (0-0) bei einem Kampf Gewicht von 185 Pfund-.

 

 

Mark Gardner impressed many in attendance at his debut fight last November in Portland. Gardner took on top middleweight prospect Carlton Charles (2-1) at Aura. He absorbed everything Charles threw at him in the first round, eventually scoring a technical knockout victory in the second. Gardner is a member of The Academy of Mixed Martial Arts based in Westbrook, Maine where he trains under early MMA pioneer Jay Jack. Gardner will return to the cage after a setback earlier this year when an opponent pulled out on him prior to a scheduled bout at “NEF 32.”

 

 

“I’m pumped to get back into the cage in April for this next fight,” said Gardner. “I’ve been training hard, und ich kann nicht warten. It should be a really fun fight.”

 

 

Gardner’s opponent, Brandon Schwinck, is a 43-year-old, lifelong martial artist from Windham, Maine. He has been a regular contestant in grappling, karate and kickboxing tournaments across the state over the years. Schwinck has trained with several different gyms, including The Academy where he worked with Gardner on the mats. Der Kampf auf April 14 will be his first regulated MMA fight, a moment that Schwinck says he has waited years to realize.

 

 

“I’m familiar with the MMA fighter and grappler, Mark Gardner,” said Schwinck when reached for comment. “We used to train together at the Academy of MMA a few years ago. I respect Mr. Gardner’s strengths and abilities on the ground, and he has an amazing team to prepare him for this fight. I recall me and Mark being fairly well-matched on the ground. We’ve submitted each other on the mats. Jedoch, he’s a tough, hungrig, young buck with lots of weapons at his disposal, so I won’t take him lightly. I know Mark’s surely stepped-up his striking game and stand-up over the last few years, but I’ve been a fighter all my life and feel the bout will be competitive. I believe my NEF debut will be far from a cake walk, though I’m always prepared to put up an exciting fight in any venue I enter. I have no intentions of letting Mark walk over me and I’ll do my best to stop him. Neither of us will achieve a victory easily. I’m looking forward to competing against this dangerous, talentierter Kämpfer, be it on the ground or standing. I think it will be a great match-up. I’m totally psyched about being part of NEF 33, and in the end, may the best man win.”

AGUASCALIENTES, MX (April 4, 2018) – Zucker Promotions, in Assoziation mit Stadium View Network (SVN), is happy to announce its partnership with the government of Mexico in Aguascalientes, to broadcast it’s boxing shows to the United States market.

 

 

 

 

The first event titled, “Feria de Campeones”, will take place at the world-famous Plaza de Toros San Marcos in Aguascalientes, MX, April 28, 2018, während der “Feria de San Marcos” festival. The government of Mexico will produce all Sugar Promotions’ boxing events in Aguascalientes, and provide a satellite signal to (SVN), who will distribute the content to its network in the U.S.

Plant City, FL (April 2, 2018) - Rising Star und WBC #13 bewerten Mittel Yamaguchi Falcao erzielte eine achte Runde Entscheidung über harten Veteran Richar Gutierrez Samstag einseitig, März 31 an der Marina Bay SportsPlex in Quincy, MA.

 

 

 

 

 

Kämpfen vor einem nationalen Publikum auf ESPN2, bekam der Kampf zu einem fremden Start, als Gutierrez falsch mit einem Zuschlag in den ersten Sekunden nach dem Treten auf Falcao Fuß dann landet einen Schlag gutgeschrieben wurde. Die 2012 Olympiasieger sofort wieder auf den Beinen stand und machte Gutierrez zahlen den Preis von Glocke zu Glocke.

 

 

 

 

Falcao dominierte den Kampf mit harten Jabs und knackig gerade lefts, einen Zuschlag in den abschließenden Momente des fünften erziehlt. Das Spiel Gutierrez versucht Falcao abzuschütteln, indem sie regelmäßig Clinchen und toben Taktik war aber erfolglos.
