In a Special Heavyweight Attraction, undefeated former unified world heavyweight champion Tyson “Gypsy König” Fury continues his comeback in a 10-round match against veteran Francisco Pianeta.

 

 

 

Frampton vs.. Jackson, presented by Frank Warren’s Queensbury Promotions, will air across Canada exclusively on Super Channel, ab 2:45 p.m. UND / 11:45 a.m. PT.

“I want to be world champion again. If I lose this fight my career is over, that’s the truth, but I’m not intending to lose it. Victory over Jackson sets up a potentially sizzling showdown with another fighter who has a massive fan base, Josh Warrington, the new IBF featherweight champion from Leeds. The reigning WBO Oriental featherweight champion, Jackson (16-0, 7 KOs) represented his native Australia in the 2012 Olympiade. The upset-minded Jackson believes Frampton is finished.

 

 

“Across the board,” the outspoken Australian spoke about Frampton, “but I don’t think he is as good as he once was. In the first fight against Leo Santa Cruz he boxed out of his skin and deserved to win, but he hasn’t looked the same since. Carl is a very good fighter who does everything good, but I don’t think he does anything great. The reigning WBO Intercontinental flyweight champion, Barnes (5-0, 1 KO) will also be fighting at home in Belfast in front of his passionate fan base. One of the greatest Irish amateur boxers of all time, Barnes will be fighting for a world title in only his sixth professional fight. He won two bronze medals (2008 & 2012) in his three trips to the Olympics, as well as gold in the 2019 Europameisterschaft.

 

 

 

“This is the fight that defines my boxing career,” Barnes claimed. “There were great achievements as an amateur including Olympic bronze medals, but that is only third place in the world, Das ist großartig. EDMONTON, Kanada (Juli 30, 2018) – Resilient Canadian boxer Steve “Der Drache” Claggett (27-5-1, 17 KOs) pulled off another impressive road victory last Saturday night, when he edged previously unbeaten defending champion Petros Ananyan (13-1-2, 6 KOs) to capture the International Boxing Federation (IBF) International super lightweight title.

 

 

 

Presented by Lee Baxter Promotions, Claggett vs.. Ananyan headlined the second installment of “SUPERBOX LIVE: – “Rise Up” – that aired across Canada exclusively on Super Channel, live from Powerade Centre in Brampton, Kanada. Claggett, fighting out of Calgary, Kanada, bounced back from a loss by way of a 10-round decision this past St. Patrick’s Day to Danny O'Connor in Boston.

 

 

 

Armenia-native Ananya, now residing in Moscow, captured his IBF International title last October, when he upset 30-1 Titelverteidiger Luca Giacon, who was fighting at home in Spain, by way of a six-round technical decision.

MULVANE, Mai. (Mai 21, 2018) — History was made this past Saturday night on the “SUPERBOX LIVE: High Stakes” pay-per-view card, wann 2016 Olympic bronze medalist and local hero, Nico Hernandez, knocked out Hungarian challenger Szilveszter “Die Silent Assassin” Kanalas in the opening round to capture the vacant International Boxing Association (IBA) Flyweight World Championship in only his fifth professional fight, an der Kansas-Sterne-Arena in Mulvane, Kansas.

“Nico was explosive Saturday night and he showed killer instinct,” Promoter John Andersen kommentiert. “He was going to box, but I think he smelled fear, and Nico got into Kanalas’ Kopf. He sensed it and jumped on him.”

 

 

 

Before he left the ring, Hernandez took the microphone in the center of the ring and called out three-time Olympian and two-time Olympic bronze medalist, “Irisch” Paddy Barnes (5-0, 1 KO), who was the favored to win a gold medal in the flyweight division at the 2016 Olympiade. He was eliminated in the round of 16 and Hernandez took home the bronze medal. “There’s a bronze medalist from (Northern) Irland, Paddy Barnes, and that’s who I’d really love to fight.”

 

 

 

“I think that’s a fight we should start a conversation about,” Andersen remarked. “It’s not line Barnes is 21 (er ist 31) and I don’t know of a lot of 30 or older flyweights. It makes a lot of sense and can be a big fight. They’re both Olympic bronze medalist, already fought in scheduled 10 und 12 Runde kämpft, and have belts. LAS VEGAS (Mai 15, 2018) – Undefeated Toronto heavyweight prospect Oleksandr Teslenko is bringing his vaunted power and Ukrainian magic to Kansas this week for his fourth pro fight in the United States, this Saturday night on the “SUPERBOX LIVE: High Stakes” pay-per-view card, airing live from Kansas Star Arena in Mulvane, Kansas.
