James (23-1, 10 KO) built on the biggest victory of his career – a knockout over tough veteran Diego Chaves last December – with a decision win against Abel Ramos in April at the Armory and on FS1. The 30-year-old James has picked up three-straight victories since suffering the only loss of his career – a unanimous decision defeat to Yordenis Ugas in August 2016. He returns to downtown Minneapolis looking to keep his momentum going towards the top of the welterweight division.

 

 

 

“I’m in camp training hard for another thriller at home against a pressure fighter in Mahonry Montes,” said James. “I’m going to use my height, range and skills to show that I’m hungry and keeping my eyes on the prize. Once I get past Montes, a big name is going to have to fight me. I’m right on the road to a world title challenge.”

 

 

 

De 28-jarige Montes (35-7-1, 24 KO) has challenged everyone from world champions to top rising prospects throughout his pro career and enters this bout having scored knockout victories in consecutive fights. Representing Sinaloa, Mexico, Montes owns a victory over welterweight contender Francisco Santana in a fight last year that saw Montes drop his opponent on the way to a decision victory.

 

 

 

“I’m am so excited to have this opportunity against Jamal James,” said Montes. “My last loss was unfortunate because I thought I had my opponent hurt, but I’ve picked up a couple of wins since then and have been training very hard. I’m ready to show everyone that I belong with the best fighters in the world. I’m never in a bad fight and I’m going to show the fans in Minnesota how a real Mexican fights.”

 

 

 

A two-time title challenger, Monroe (22-3, 6 KO) has faced current titlists Gennady Golovkin and Billy Joe Saunders in his forays into championship fights. The 31-year-old from Rochester, New York has defeated Gabriel Rosado, Brian Vera and John Thompson since 2015 to earn multiple opportunities at the middleweight title. Monroe most recently won a dominant decision over Carlos Galvan in March.

 

 

 

Fighting out of Virginia, Aleem (18-1-1, 11 KO) stopped Juan De Angel in the sixth-round of their May fight to get back in the win column after his first defeat in a bout against Hugo Centeno Jr last August. The 24-year-old had stopped then unbeaten Ievgen Khytrov in the sixth round of a January 2017 fight that became a Fight of the Year nominee prior to the Centeno fight.

 

 

 

De 23-jarige Clark (13-0, 7 KO) has used his height and reach to establish himself as a fast-rising prospect on his way to contender status. The Cincinnati-native had two impressive victories in 2017, first defeating then unbeaten Ivan Golub and then a decision victory over Domonique Dolton last November as he came out victorious against his toughest pro opponent so far.

 

Rozenkrans (15-1-1, 11 KO) fights out of Miami but is originally from the Dominican Republic. Rosario suffered his first defeat last year at the hands of Nathaniel Gallimore, but has rebounded to be undefeated in his last four fights. This run has seen the 23-year-old fight to a draw with Mark Anthony Hernandez in February before defeating Justin DeLoach and dropping him twice on his way to a decision victory in May.

HERNANDEZ TO APPEAR ON “THE CONTENDER”

FRESNO, ZOALS (Augustus 1, 2018) – Marcos “Mad Man” Hernandez (11-1-1, 3 KO), who is advised by Al Haymon and fighting under the Premier Boxing Champions platform of fight cards, will appear on the upcoming season of The Contender on EPIX®.

 

The highly anticipated 12-episode season, from MGM Television and Paramount Television, will premiere on EPIX® on Aug. 24, 2018, bij 10 PM ET/PT with Hernandez being one of the more notable middleweights featured on the series multiple fights televised on FS1.

LONG ISLAND, NY (Augustus 1, 2018) – Former middleweight champion Peter “Kid Chocolate” Quillin and WBA Super Middleweight Women’s World Champion Alicia “The Empress” Napoleon visited Crestwood Day Camp Wednesday afternoon and hosted a motivational and fitness training session with over 200 campers.

 

 

 

Quillin and the Lindenhurst-native Napoleon took advantage of the opportunity to share positive messages with the campers ahead of their respective matchups taking place this Saturday, Augustus 4 from NYCB LIVE, home of the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum.

 

 

 

“Being a boxer is my lifestyle, and to be able to share some of the things that made me who I am with these kids is a great joy,” Said Quillin. “It’s so important to reach out to the next generation and give them the tools to live positively. As a pro athlete I consider that part of my job and something I take pride in doing.”

 

 

 

“I’m so happy to be here and give something back for these children,” said Napoleon. “Sharing different tips and motivations while I’m here is really an honor. I’m focused on defending my title Saturday night, but something like this is really a treat. I hope they all had fun and learned something they didn’t know before today.”

The 29-year-old has won 10 fights in a row and has only lost once since 2010 as he looks to follow in the footsteps of Marcos Maidana and Lucas Matthysse, elite welterweights from Argentina. Prior to that win, the undefeated heavyweight scored a dominant stoppage of Artur Szpilka last July on Long Island in a matchup of top Polish heavyweights.

 

 

 

“It’s exciting to be back in the ring on SHOWTIME to showcase my skills,” zei Kownacki. “It will be another step to reach my goal of becoming the first Polish heavyweight champion. I am training hard in preparation to fight Charles Martin. It will be an amazing night in Barclays Center. I’m hoping Barclays Center will be covered in white and red.”

Coyle headlines October 6 in St. Petersburg, FL

Tampa, FL (Juli 31, 2018) – Connor “The Kid” Coyle will put his undefeated record on the line when he headlines Fire Fist Boxing Promotions’ “Night of Champions” Saturday, Oktober 6 at the St. Petersburg Coliseum.

 

 

 

Hailing from Ireland but training out of St. Petersburg, Coyle is een perfecte 8-0 met 3 wint door knock-out. In zijn laatste gevecht, the talented 28-year-old impressively stopped local rival Danny Pastrana in front of a sold out crowd at the very same venue he’ll return to in October.

 

 

 

Coyle meets an opponent to be announced in a ten round contest for the American Boxing Federation (ABF) Continental Americas 160 pound championship.

 

 

 

Recent Fire Fist Promotions signee Mark Reyes Jr. of Tampa is scheduled to face fellow Floridian Travis Castellon in an eight rounder for the ABF Continental Americas welterweight title.

 

 

 

A talented boxer-puncher with excellent hand speed, Reyes is 7-0 met 5 wint door knock-out. He is fresh off a first round stoppage of Javier Garcia. Fighting out of Fort Lauderdale, Castellon’s excellent professional record stands at 16-1-1 met 12 KO's. The heavy-handed Castellon’s scored 10 of his knockouts in three rounds or less.

 

 

 

Popular cruiserweight Nicholas Iannuzzi, 19-4 (11 KO's) of Tampa faces Georgia based Puerto Rican Vincent Miranda in an eight round contest. Iannuzzi returned from a long layoff in March and scored a dynamic knockout. Miranda, 17-2 (9 KO's), owns dominant victories over contenders David Telesco and Brian Barbosa.

 

 

 

Arcadia’s Joseph Fernandez, 7-3-3 (1 KO), challenges West Palm Beach’s Tobias “Da Truth” Green, 7-2 (2 KO's), in a six round junior welterweight tilt for Sunshine State bragging rights.

 

 

 

5-0 welterweight Ramon De La Paz of Wesley Chapel, FL en 3-0 junior middleweight Ozodbek Aripov of Fort Myers, FL by way of Russian will put their undefeated records on the line in separate bouts.

 

 

 

Other locals featured on the undercard include heavyweight Jose “The Dream” Medina (4-0, 1 KO), featherweight Juan Avila (4-0, 3 KO's), bantamweight Brian Canaday (3-0, 2 KO's) and debuting junior lightweight Armando Moran.

SAN ANTONIO, TX (Juli 32, 2018) – Prince Ranch Boxing en TMB & PRB Entertainment are happy to announce the signing of amateur standout, Richard “El Castigo” Medina, a 5-Time National Champion from San Antonio, TX. Medina will be making his debut on September 8, 2018 at the Scottish Rite Theater in San Antonio, Texas.

 

 

 

Medina, who will campaign at featherweight (126 lbs.), had a decorated amateur career with an impressive record of (100W-13L). Medina signed a management agreement with Prince Ranch Boxing as well as signed to TMB & PRB Entertainment, who will promote his future fights.

Philadelphia, PA (Juli 31, 2018) – Rising super middleweight prospect, Brandon ” B ROB” Robinson will headline a special night of boxing when he takes on the battle-tested and upset minded Taneal Goyco in the eight-round main event on Vrijdag, September 14th bij De 2300 Arena in Philadelphia.

Robinson of Philadelphia has a record of 10-1 met zeven knockouts.

He has wins over highly regarded Jerry Odom (14-2-1); Devin Butcher (5-0); Dennis Hasson (16-1); Jeremy Trussell (8-0); Frankie Filippone (14-2-1) and Dennis Morris (1-0).
