NEW YORK (Juli 31, 2018)–zaterdag avond, zes leden van Split-T Management behaalden geweldige overwinningen op drie kaarten in het hele land.
In Kissimmee, Florida, 2016 U.S. Olympiër, Antonio Vargas ging naar 7-0 met een unaniem besluit van zes ronden over Aaron Echeveste in een bantamgewicht gevecht.
Vargas bokste heel goed, en controleerde de actie met zijn agressiviteit en scherpe ponsen om te winnen door shutout scores van 60-54 alle kaarten.
Vargas, die vocht voor de menigte in zijn geboorteplaats, presteerde goed in het gevecht, die live werd gestreamd op ESPN +.
In Louisville, Kentucky, vier jagers bleven perfect met indrukwekkende overwinningen.
Weltergewicht Janelson Bocachica stopte Noel Esqueda in twee rondes van hun geplande wedstrijd van zes ronden.

Janelson Bocachica (10-0, 7 KO) van Detroit, Michigan vecht Noel Esqueda (8-5-2, 6 KO) van Wichita, Kansas in een weltergewicht gevecht van zes ronden.
Bocachica, net 19 jaar oud zet zijn snelle klim voort terwijl hij zijn 3e start zal maken 2018.

Baltimore Boxing returns with “Super Brawl of Boxing” January 26

Baltimore, MD (Januari 9, 2018) – Jake Smith Baltimore Boxing will host their first show of 2018 when they present the “Super Brawl of Boxing” Vrijdag, Januari 26 at Michael’s Eighth Ave in Glen Burnie, MD.

Baltimore Boxing is also pleased to announce that 5-time world champion and the subject of the movie “Bleed for This” Vinny Paz will be on hand to meet fans. Paz is a regular at Baltimore Boxing cards and local fight fans have adopted him as if he were one of their own.
This Olympic style boxing card is headlined by a title unification between Maryland State Middleweight champ Deshawn “Soulsnatcher” Chase of Baltimore Boxing and East Coast belt holder Marquis Moore of Salisbury’s Main Street Boxing Gym. Chase is one of Baltimore’s better amateurs and a regular at Michael’s Eighth while Moore is a well-schooled boxer that believes both titles will be his come the 26th.
This excellent evening of boxing also feature the debut of former NFL player Leon Joe. A standout linebacker at the University of Maryland, Joe was listed by Street & Smith as an All American Honorable mention in 2003. The next year, the Chicago Bears drafted Joe in the 4th round and he played in Super Bowl XLI. He later spent time with the Arizona Cardinals, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Buffalo Bills, Jacksonville Jaguars and Detroit Lions before playing two years in the Canadian Football League.
Baltimore Boxing’s ‘Super Brawl of Boxing” also serves as a fundraiser for Tina Frost. Op Oktober 1, Frost was shot in the head during the mass shooting in Las Vegas. Her right eye was removed and spent time in a rehab facility. Originally from Baltimore, the 28-year-old Frost was working as a CPA for Ernst & Young in San Diego but is back in Maryland with her family. While Frost’s made great progress, she has a long way to and a mound of medical bills that will only continue to grow.

Split-T Management signs World Amateur Sensation Marquis Moore; Set to make pro debut on tonight in Indianapolis

New York, NY (April 29, 2016) – Split-T management is happy to announce the signing of International Golden Gloves Champion and two-time National Golden Gloves champion, Markies Moore to a managerial contract. Moore, who was honorably discharged from the army after serving our country for 3 jaar, will be making his professional debut as a middleweight tonight in Indianapolis, IN on a card promoted by 4 Champs Promotions.

Moore, 25, was among the United States top amateur middleweights as he compiled a record of 140-15, highlighted by representing Team USA in many international events including winning the World National Golden Gloves as well as winning the gold medal in numerous national championships including the 2012 Armed Forces Kampioenschappen, 2013 en 2014 Nationale Golden Gloves, 2015 National PAL and US Olympic Trials Qualifiers.

Moore credits his relationship and trust with Split-T Management’s CEO David McWater with his decision to sign with the company.

“I signed with Split-T Management because of David McWater. I am very excited to have someone like him to guide my professional career. We first met in 2013 when I won the National Golden Gloves and learned he has been following my career for a while and our relationship built from there.” said Moore

“He has always believed in me and came through with everything he has promised.”

Said David McWater, “By the 2013 National Golden Gloves and I thought he was the best fighter in the tournament. He was so exciting of a fighter, and he was clearly the best amateur in the country at that time. At one point, he was undefeated for a 30 month period. He is a great fighter and a great guy and I’m thrilled to be part of his professional career.”

Moore, who was stationed at Fort Carson, Colorado will continue to live there and train with world class trainer, Dickie Wood in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

“Living and training here is so beneficial for my career” says Moore. I’m living and training thousands of feet above sea level. I’m a gym rat as it is, but training here where the air so thin, makes me have such an advantage over my opponents because I will never got tired. I’m learning new things from Mr. Wood every day and I can’t wait to put my boxing on display for the world to see.”

Hout, who has worked with many world champions in the past, inclusief: Stevie Johnston, Oleg Maskaev, Diego “Jongen” Corrales, and Buddy McGirt, feels he has a budding superstar in his hands.

“He is a multi-talented fighter with a blend of skills, snelheid en kracht. I truly believe he can become world champion in twee jaar!” Says Wood.

” I have worked with several world champions in the past and his talents are comparable to them at this early a stage of his career.”
