Монтэ-Карла, Манака (Мая 29, 2017)- Host team Kyrgyzstan captured top team honors at the recent third annual World Mixed Martial Arts Association (WMMAA) Чэмпіянат Азіі, recently held at Suyumbaev Stadium, Osh, Кіргізія.

The wonderful host city of Osh is the second largest city in Кіргізія, located in the Fergana Valley in the south of the country, often referred to as the “capital of the south”. It is the oldest city in the country, estimated to be more than 3000 гадоў, and it has served as the administrative center of Osh Region так як 1939. The city has an ethnically mixed population of approximately 255,800, according to 2012 reports, comprised of Kyrgyz, Uzbeks, Russians, Tajiks, and other smaller ethnic groups.

Ulukbek Omurzakov, the president of Kyrgyzstan MMA Federation, deserved kudos for insuring that the 2017 WMMAA Asian Championships would be held at the highest level in all respects.

In addition to Omurzakov, numerous highly-ranked guests were also present at the arena during competitions, including the Kyrgyzstan Republic President’s advisor, Ikramzhan Ilmiyanov, Vice Prime-Minister Zhenish Razzakov, Osh city Mayor Aitmamat Kadyrbaev, Minister of Interior Suyunbek Omurzakov, MP’s Aaly Karashev, Iskender Matraimov, WMMAA president Вадзім Фінкельштэйн і шмат іншых.

The 2017 WMMAA Asian Championships were held in 10 weight divisions, eight for male fighters, as well as two brand new divisions for female fighters, in which China won both weight classes.

Монтэ-Карла, Манака (Мая 3, 2017)- The World MMA Association (WMMAA) has announced that its 2017 Pan-American Championships, the largest MMA event ever in The Americas, will be held this coming Ліпеня 14-15 in Monterrey, Мексіка.

National teams from the United States, Канада, Мексіка, Costa Rica, Нікарагуа, Калумбія, Эквадор, Венесуэла, Уругвай, Бразілія, along with special guest Spain, are expected to compete in the 2017 Pan-American Championships.

(Красавіка 25, 2017) – For Team USA to effectively prepare to compete in the 2017 WMMAA Pan-American Championships and World MMA Championships for the first time, WMMAA USA has announced its partnership with promoter RMN (Rocky Mountain Nationals Events) to host the USA National Open Tournament, Чэрвеня 17-18, in Denver, Каларада.

Earning a position on USA Team is an extremely demanding process. Many athletes dedicate their entire lives to the task, putting their minds and bodies through an extraordinary amount of training for an opportunity to compete and represent their country. Results from the Inaugural French MMA Championships

Монтэ-Карла, Манака (Красавіка 20, 2017) — The inaugural French MMA Championships, sanctioned by the World MMA Association (WMMAA), was recently held in Geneva, Швейцарыя.

The National Commission Kenpô & AMM successfully organized this event despite several obstacles. French athletes had the opportunity for the first time to compete under the rules of amateur MMA during a French Championship, organized exclusively for them by the “French Federation”, under the aegis of the WMMAA, whose honorary vice-president is none other than “Апошні імператар,” Фёдар Емяльяненка.

No injuries were reported during the competition and good sportsmanship was exhibited by all. There were many exciting fights between competitors representing clubs from all across France, including some well-known by the public in martial arts and combat sports. A large, passionate crowd encouraged the fighters from start to finish.

It was announced that the 2nd annual MMA French Championships will be held next year in Geneva on April 7 & 8.

WMMAA Pan-American Division Welcomes new member Ecuador

Монтэ-Карла, Манака (Сакавіка 14, 2017) – The Pan-American Division of the World MMA Championships (WMMAA) has formally announced the recent addition of Ecuador as its newest member.

“We continue to grow with every new country take forward the MMA movement as well as recognition of MMA as a sport,” сказаў Томас Ю., President of the WMMA Pan-American Division. “I have long been an advocate of MMA as a sport. Watching this great group of pioneers put up a great fight that takes is back to the basics and to what Martial Arts truly represents: loyalty, honor, and family.”

Yu appointed Gorky E. Радрыгес as President of WMMAA Ecuador. Hector Molina, Director of the Regulatory Committee for the WMMAA Pan-American Division, will work closely with Rodriguez during the formation of the WMMAA Ecuador Regulatory Committee.

“MMA is in a critical time,” Rodriguez commented. “It’s explosive growth this past decade has made MMA the fastest growing sport in the world, demanding that an organization like ours exist and to add unbiased structure, not only for athletes, but as a regulatory body as well.

“Much continues to happen since WMMAA Ecuador was formed. We will all celebrate our first participation, as a national team, this year in the Pan-American Championships. I look forward to using my experience and the volumes of knowledge the WMMAA Pan-American Division brings to Ecuador. I will share the vision with all my efforts as we will defend, promote and endorse MMA as a sport and give all participants and fans a significant difference in the sport.”

The WMMAA sanctioned countries in five divisions – Pan-Am, Афрыка, Азія, Europe and Oceania – include Afghanistan, Аргенціна, Арменія, Aruba, Аўстралія, Азербайджан, Беларусь, Бельгія, Бразілія, Канада, Кітай, Chinese Taipei, Costa Rica, Харватыя, Куба, Чэшская Рэспубліка, Францыя, Грузія, Германія, Грэцыя, Guatemala, Венгрыя, Індыя, Iran, Італія, Казахстан, Кіргізія, Латвія, Мексіка, Moldova, Манака, Mongolia, Марока, Нідэрланды, Нікарагуа, Paraguay, Партугалія, Румынія, Расія, Сербія, Сінгапур, Славакія, Паўднёвая Карэя, Іспанія, Таджыкістан, Украіна, Uzbekistan and Venezuela.

The highlight of the 2016 WMMAA season was the World MMA Championships, in which powerhouse, Team Russia completely dominated, as it also did in the European Championships, sweeping all seven weight classes in Studio City, Macau, Кітай.

In team scoring, Asian team champion Kazakhstan won two Silver and four Bronze medals, Ukraine two Silver and two Bronze, Czech Republic one Silver and two Bronze, Chinas one Silver and two Bronze, Kyrgyzstan two Bronze, and one Bronze for France, Індыя, Spain and Moldova.

Despite an ever-growing competition level, our athletes achieved 100-percent of the set goals thanks to a great training camp, fight strategy and their spirit.

“We are proud to have two-time world champions in Magomed Ankalayev and Gamzat Hiramagomedov. It’s a pleasure to follow the fighters’ personal evolution from fight to fight. The world champions will receive their accolades of Sports Master of International Level.”

Монтэ-Карла, Манака (Лістапада 22, 2016)- The best amateur mixed-martial-arts fighters in the world will compete Лістапада. 26-27 at the World MMA Championships in Studio City, Macau, Кітай.

Close to 100 fighters have registered to compete. The 2016 Еўрапейская (Расія) and Asian (Казахстан) team champions head a list that includes Spain, Аўстралія, Belgian, Кітай, Калумбія, Францыя, Чэшская Рэспубліка, Hong Kong, Таджыкістан, Германія, Венгрыя, Macao, Nepal, Індыя, Паўднёвая Карэя, Украіна, Кіргізія, Moldova, Taiwan and Uzbekistan.

We’re looking forward to the World MMA Championship in Macau on Лістапада 26-27,” WMMAA president Вадзім Фінкельштэйн сказаў. “We expect spectacular, competitive fights.”

The WMMAA Congress will also be held to discuss MMA issues relative to children and women, as well as countries being decided to host the 2017 Еўрапейская, Asian and World MMA Championships.
