LANCASTER, CALIFORNIE. Kauffman (31-2, 23 KOs) will look to boost his own contender credentials with a win after most recently dropping a close majority decision to Amir Mansour last March in Kauffman’s hometown of Reading, Pennsylvanie. Kauffman had entered that bout with a 14 combattre invincibilité, including dropping Chris Arreola in a fight that resulted in a no contest and a knockout of former title challenger Epifanio Mendoza.

 

 

 

“I am excited to get back in the ring,” dit Kauffman. “I have not been in the ring in a year and a half and I can’t wait to go in there and show that I still have a lot left. Kiladze (26-2, 18 KOs) was riding a six-bout winning streak into his January matchup with unbeaten Adam Kownacki that ended with Kiladze losing in six rounds. Representing the country of Georgia and now fighting out of Los Angeles, Kiladze will be in his fifth fight as a full time heavyweight on June 10.

CARLTON, MN. (Mai 18, 2016) – Unbeaten cruiserweight contender Murat “Fer” Gassiev (23-0, 17 KOs) scored a sensational knockout victory over Jordan Shimmell (20-2, 16 KOs) dans l'événement principal de Premier Champions de boxe MARDIS TOE-to-toe sur FS1 et Champions de boxe sur Fox DeportesMardi night from Black Bear Casino Resort in Carlton, MN in the Otter Creek Event Center.
Gassiev delivered a powerful left hook that put Shimmell out on the mat and halted the cruiserweight title elimination bout immediately at 2:54 de la première ronde. Shimmell was able to move effectively for much of the round and had landed an early combination that got the attention of Gassiev.
The Russian fighter, who now trains in California with Abel Sanchez, was able to start working through the defense of Shimmell with his jab as the round wore on. The final blow came after Gassiev imitated a right hand and delivered the critical left hook while Shimmell was caught counter-punching.
The co-main event of the night saw local favorite Joey “Minnesota Ice” Une cloche (32-9, 30 KOs) deliver a dominant performance in knocking out previously unbeaten Wes Nofire (19-1, 15 KOs) in their heavyweight showdown.
The former title challenger bothered Nofire early and often from his southpaw stance and was successful with his left hand throughout the fight. Abell snuck in a strong right hook in round two that stunned Nofire before he delivered multiple left hooks to score the early knockdown.
Nofire tried to weather the storm but a big right hand from Abell again put Nofire down early in the third round. Nofire almost made it out of the round but Abell’s power in the left hand proved to be too much as a series of strong shots sent Nofire down for the final time before his corner stopped the fight.
Abell could hardly miss as he connected on 42 percent of his punches on his way to the stoppage at 2:12 de la troisième ronde.

“I just didn’t get the shots I was looking for. I thought I was going to be able to back him up more with my jab. He stayed his distance and lunged in from out of range.
“One of the head butts caught me pretty good and I just couldn’t see what he was coming back with.
“The head butts were giving me problems and he followed up on me after them. He was a little stronger than I expected but I’ve been hit hard like that by other fighters.
“Je suis déçu. I trained really hard for the fight. I’ve never had a problem taking power before. It’s just one of those things that happens in everybody’s career, but I’ll be back.”
STEPHAN SHAW
“I felt great in there. It felt good to be victorious in my first fight on PBC. I fought a guy with a lot of experience and did what I had to do.
“I’m the best kept secret in America. That’s my motto.”
DANNY KELLY

A fast-rising 22-year-old contender, Gassiev is undefeated since turning pro in 2011 and has delivered three straight stoppage victories since making his stateside debut in January 2015. MIAMI (Novembre 25, 2015) – Champion du monde poids welter et super sensation cubaineErislandy “Le rêve américain” Lara (22-2-2, 13 KOs) défendu avec succès son titre contre l'ancien champion du monde et slovène Jan Zaveck (35-4, 19 KOs) dans un Premier Champions de boxe sur ESPN spectacle à partir de Hialeah Park Racing de Miami & Casino.

“Je ferai face à tous ceux qu'ils veulent mettre en face de moi à 154 lbs, sauf si elle est Canelo (Alavarez) ou (Miguel) Cuit. Ensuite, nous passerons à 160 lbs.”

“Je possède actuellement une vive douleur allant de mon cou pour mon épaule sur le côté droit.
“Je savais que je pourrais essayer de se battre sur et asséner un coup chanceux, mais ce fut une petite possibilité et il était probablement mieux d'arrêter et de battre un autre jour.
“Je me sentais bien là-bas avant que. Je ai essayé de le surprendre par le combattre en étroite, mais je prenais trop de coups de poing et il a un très bon pouvoir.
“Je ne l'ai jamais été blessé comme ça avant. Il est très étrange. La douleur est en pleine progression.”
EMMANUEL RODRIGUEZ
“Comme la lutte a commencé, je pourrais dire Aquino était un combattant fort, mais une fois que je commencé la boxe lui, je savais que je pouvais finir le combat dans les tours plus tard.

“(Rodriguez) was better ce soir. Il n'y a rien de plus compliqué que ça. Il était un meilleur combattant que moi. Je ne prends rien loin de lui.
“On ne m'a jamais blessé pendant le combat. Il était fort, mais je tenais mon terrain et n'a jamais été en difficulté. Je l'ai frappé avec quelques bons coups trop. Il vient de débarquer plus que moi. C'est de ma faute.
“Je ne suis pas frustré. I just ran into a great fighter and ce soir was his night. Je serai de retour. Il est juste un combat et une leçon apprise.”

MIAMI (Novembre 23, 2015) – Champion du monde des super mi-moyens Erislandy “Le rêve américain” Lara (21-2-2, 12 KOs) et ancien champion du monde Jan Zaveck (35-3, 19 KOs) ont pris part à une conférence de presse lundi après-midi à Miami comme ils près de leur Premier Champions de boxe sur ESPN épreuve de force aura lieu mercredi, Novembre 25 à partir de Hialeah Park Racing & Casino.

“Je travaille très dur pour ce combat. Je suis concentré très dur au camp d'entraînement parce que je sais comment difficile ce combat sera. Il n'y a pas beaucoup à dire maintenant, Je suis juste penser à faire de poids et d'obtenir dans le ring.
“Je suis ravi d'être ici dans des combats au sud de la Floride en face de ces grands fans. Je suis heureux de se battre pour les Cubains et de montrer que nous avons de grands amateurs de boxe.
“Zaveck a combattu quelques-uns des meilleurs boxeurs au monde et je dois beaucoup de respect pour lui. Je suis totalement concentré sur mon adversaire et je veux continuer à prouver que je suis le meilleur 154 livres dans le monde.
“Je suis allé avec mon entraîneur Ronnie Shields depuis longtemps et nous sommes prêts à mettre en œuvre notre pause dans le ring mercredi nuit.”
