The undercard lineup is highlighted by unbeaten Russian Helen giardiniere (9-0, 2 KO) vying for her first world title when she takes on former two-time title challenger Brenda Karen Carabajal (15-4-1, 9 KO) for the vacant IBF Featherweight World Championship.

The 25-year-old Franklin (17-0, 13 KO), da Saginaw, Mich., is a former amateur standout and a 2014 Nazionale di Golden Gloves Champion. Booker (25-1, 12 KO), from Detroit, Mich., is a former No.1-ranked U.S. amateur who was once a rising heavyweight prospect with a 22-0 record. He suffered his lone defeat to former three-division world champion James Toney, who was coming off wins over Vassiliy Jirov and Evander Holyfield, in 2004. After serving a 12-year prison sentence, Booker has returned to the ring looking to get his life back on track and live up to his once promising expectations, registering three unanimous decision victories in 2018 under the tutelage of former world champion Jimmy Paul.

“It means a lot to have this opportunity to fight on SHOWTIME,” said the 38-year-old Booker, who sparred with heavyweight world champion Anthony Joshua in preparation for his September 2018 bout with Alexander Povetkin. “I’m ready to show my talents on a national stage so everyone will know who Rydell Booker is once again. I think Jermaine Franklin is a pretty good fighter but he has never fought anybody with my experience, knowledge in the ring or my ring savvy. I am going to teach him some new lessons on April 13. I have a bag full of goodies and tricks at my disposal that I will teach this young whipper snapper.”

I will be one step closer towards my goal of winning the heavyweight world title. Like I’ve said before, I’m a kid from a small town in Sweden and I’m proud of where I’m from and what I’ve achieved so far, but I feel like this is when all the fun starts.”

The 28-year-old Kisner (21-4-1, 6 KO) has competed at both cruiserweight and heavyweight since turning professional in 2010 after a successful amateur career. Among Kisner’s numerous amateur recognitions, the Baltimore, Md. native was a three-time National Silver Gloves Champion, two-time Junior National Golden Gloves Champion and Ringside World Champion. He holds the distinction of being the youngest boxer in American history ever to win a Men’s National Title in the heavyweight division at 17 anni. As a pro, three of Kisner’s four losses have come against opponents who boasted an undefeated record on fight night. “This has been long overdue. I’m just glad that Hammer is here and the fight is set. She’s been at my fights before but I can’t wait to get inside the ring and show her I’m the real champion.

WBO Belted Yomar Álamo in Puerto Rico

Aguas Buenas – In an emotional activity held at the Aguas Buenas Urban High School, la World Boxing Organization (WBO), together with its president, Francisco “Paco” Valcárcel, Esq., delivered the WBO North America (PROSSIMO) Jr. Welterweight title to boxer Yomar “The Magic” Álamo which he won last Friday in Florida, after defeating Mexican Manuel Méndez by unanimous decision in an event promoted by All Star Boxing.

“When Yomar fought the previously, we were not pleased, Yomar’s people made the decision for him to train with Iván Calderón so that he learned some techniques that Iván had already used very well. Iván is the architect of this and I recognize his work as a coach who charge of polishing this diamond. As a fighter, Iván made 18 world title defenses in the 105 e 108 pounds of the WBO and will be a safe bet for the Hall of Fame”, Varcárcel said.

An excited Álamo said: “I am very happy with this tribute. This fight was for my people of Aguas Buenas and Puerto Rico, who so need moments of happiness. Everything can be done in life, just set some goals and fight for them, no matter how strong the winds are. If you are at the hands of Jesus Christ, our savior, nothing will be missing and I know that many young people will achieve it”.

In un ambiente familiare di festa, la World Boxing Organization (WBO), attraverso il suo programma di successo WBO bambini Drug Free, biciclette consegnate, materiale scolastico e articoli sportivi per i bambini del Cubuy nella città di Canóvanas, Puerto Rico.

L'evento è stato guidato dal presidente WBO Francisco ‘Paco’ Valcárcel, Esq, Chuito allenatore di Gesù’ Ayala, e arbitrare José H. Rivera.

“Ogni giorno lavoriamo con i bambini per essere campioni del mondo sul ring o, ma ancora più importante, nella vita. Lavoriamo per essere disciplinato per la vita. Ringraziamo la WBO per aiutare in questo processo con la loro attività per i bambini, che sono il futuro”, ha dichiarato il tecnico Ayala.

WBO Presidente Valcárcel tutti detto presente che “il lavoro ognuno sta facendo qui è enorme. Grazie a alla gente piace ‘Chuito’, che lavorano molto duro e disinteressatamente per il bene della bambini, che sono la nostra priorità. LAS VEGAS (Dicembre 20, 2019) – Roy Jones Jr. Boxing Promotions and Miguel Cotto Promotions will co-promote a potential early candidate for the 2019 Fight of the Year, when world title challenger “Potente”
Aston Palicte (24-2-1, 20 KO) takes on unbeaten Jose “Chiquiro”
Martinez (20-0-2, 13 KO) in a World Boxing Organization (WBO)
junior bantamweight title eliminator on Thursday, Gennaio 31, at Viejas Casino & Resort in Alpine, California.



Palicte vs.Martinez will headline a soon-to-be-announced card in the 12-round main event, held on the Thursday night of Super Bowl week, in the Oak Ballroom. Viejas Casino & Resort is located 35 miles outside of San Diego.

Aguas Buenas, Puerto Rico – Con il suo impegno sociale coerente, la World Boxing Organization (WBO), presieduto da Francisco “Paco” Valcárcel, Esq, e attraverso il programma WBO bambini Drug Free, portato gioia e regali per i bambini del ‘Centro Educativo: Giocare, Esplorare & Learn’e‘Hacienda Don Antonio’. Entrambi i centri sono situati nella città di Aguas Buenas.

Durante l'evento occupato che si è svolta nella palestra comunale di pugilato di Aguas Buenas, i bambini zaini ricevuti con materiale scolastico e articoli sportivi. Anche, motivazionale discorsi sono stati dati, biciclette stati sorteggiati, e il pranzo è stato servito per loro.

“Non abbiamo parole per quello che ha fatto la WBO per la nostra città. E 'stata la seconda volta quest'anno il nostro bambini ha visto la WBO in visita e ci aiuta.
