Former World Champ Javier Fortuna’s Comeback Begins September 23 in Santo Domingo, Dominikanische Republik, Against Undefeated Marlyn Cabrera

The comeback of one of boxing’s most exciting fighters, former WBA World Super Featherweight Champion Javier “Die Abejon” Vermögen, will begin on Freitag, September 23, 2016.
Vermögen (29-1-1, 21 KOs) of Braintree, Massachusetts, via La Romana, Dominikanische Republik, will take on fellow Dominican Marlyn “Wunder” Cabrera (22-0, 10 KOs) of Santiago de los Caballeros in a 10-round super featherweight battle to top promoters Sampson Lewkowicz’s (Sampson Boxen) and Cesar Mercedes’ (Manguita Promotions) night of world-class boxing at the Sambil Ballroom in Sambil Plaza in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic and live on Dominican TV RNN.
27-year-old southpaw Fortuna won the WBA World Super Featherweight Championship in May 2015 with a 12-round decision over Bryan Vasquez and made a successful defense in September 2015 against Carlos Ivan Velasquez (DIE 10). But then in June of this year, Fortuna suffered a surprise TKO 11 defeat at the Capital Gym in Beijing, China, to unheralded challenger Jason Sosa of New Jersey. Winning fairly easily on all three scorecards, a tiring Fortuna was surprised and dropped by a spirited late-fight rally.
Undefeated and untested 29-year-old Cabrera will be coming to the ring with pulling off an upset on his mind. In his six-year professional career, he has already held the WBA Fedecaribe and Universal Boxing Federation (UBF) Inter­Continental Featherweight Championships.

Rosario was last seen destroying then-undefeated countryman Rafael Lorenzo in two rounds in April. Cruz will be making his first ring appearance this year.
In two other significant match-ups, 25-year-old southpaw Wellington Arias Romero (11-0-1, 5 KOs), von Newburgh, New York, USA via Santo Domingo, Dominikanische Republik, will face 26-year-old Abrahan “El Indomable” Peralta (18-4, 13 KOs) of Nagua, Dominikanische Republik, in an eight-round super lightweight battle; and in an eight-round “All Dominican” lightweight showdown, undefeated Osvaldo Cabrera (11-0-1, 6 KOs) will take on power-punching Ramon De la Cruz (8-2-1, 7 KOs).
In the opening super featherweight four-rounder, future star Abraham “Super” Nova (2-0, 1 KO) of Braintree, Massachusetts, will look to continue his undefeated run in the professionals against Willy Morillo (2-2, 1 KO) der Dominikanischen Republik.

19-year old Antonio “Knall” Williams remains unbeaten with dominating unanimous decision

MIAMI, FL (August 8, 2016) – Im vergangenen Samstag at the Miami Airport Convention Center, 19-year old Super-featherweight prospect, Anthony “Knall” Williams, remained undefeated with a dominating unanimous decision victory against tough opponent, Brian Santos, Verbesserung seiner Aufzeichnung auf (4-0, 3 KOs). Lee Baxter Promotions Inks Logan McGuinness

Toronto, Ontario, Kanada (August 3, 2016) – Toronto-based Lee Baxter Promotions is proud to announce the signing of undefeated super featherweight contender Logan “Cotton” McGuinness to an exclusive promotional agreement.

Living and fighting out of Orangeville, Ontario, McGuinness has an outstanding 23-0-1 Profibuch mit 10 victories coming by knockout. The 29-year-old McGuinness is a former WBA-NABA champion at 126, 130 und 135 Pfund, earning NABA Fighter of the Year in 2011.

Formerly ranked number 4 in the world by the WBA, McGuinness has been inactive since May 2015 due to out of the ring issues and is excited to get back in the squared circle.

McGuinness said of his new promotional agreement and return to fighting in Canada “it feels great to have signed with Lee Baxter and this is something I feel has been a long time coming. Baxter, a longtime fixture in the Canadian boxing scene who recently created the “Next Generation” fight series, is thrilled to be working with a longtime friend who he believes has a bright future ahead of him.

“I’m thrilled to be working with Logan and the timing is great for both of us. He had some unexpected layoffs but is still unbeaten and a very talented fighter. There’s been a public demand for him to fight in Canada again since 18 of his professional matches have been here and we’re proud to be making this happen. I’m looking at having him potentially fight twice in 2016 and the people in Ontario are as excited to see him fight as he is to fight in front of them. The sky is definitely the limit with Logan!"

FORT LAUDERDALE, FL (August 2, 2016) – Pro Box Management’s 19-year old hot prospect, super-featherweight Anthony “Knall” Williams (3-0, 3 KOs), returns to the ring this Saturday, August 6, 2016 at the Miami Airport Convention Center. Williams will square off against Brian Santos of Puerto Rico is a scheduled 4-round bout.
Williams, who made his pro debut earlier this year at age 18, has never made it past the second round, ending all three of his fights by knockout. His goal is to win this fight by knockout to keep his KO streak alive.

Jekaterinburg, Russland (Mai 9, 2016)–Im vergangenen Freitag Nacht, in Ekaterinburg, Russland, undefeated WBO European Super Featherweight champion Evgeny Chuprakovmade the second defense of his title, when he stopped previously undefeated Sebastian Tlatlik in the fifth round of their scheduled 10-round bout.

Ehemalige Team GB Sterne Iain 'Der Erhabene' Weber ist für seinen ersten Kampf in Großbritannien eingestellt, seit der Rückkehr aus Amerika, diese Am kommenden Samstag an der York Hall in Bethnal Green, wo er lettischen Dinars Skripkins Gesicht.

 

Weaver, , der zuletzt kämpften an der York Hall im Oktober zurück 2013, wurde er zur Festlegung als einer der Top-Aussichten in der extrem wettbewerbsfähige Superfedergewicht international.

 

Seit seinem letzten Besuch in der Heimat des Boxens in der Hauptstadt, Weber hat zwei ausgezeichnete erstklassige Stillstand Siegen gegen Spanien marokkanischen Hassan Elyatouti und brasilianischen Edilson Rio gesichert.

Zurück zu den jetzt aber, Ich freue mich wirklich darauf, wieder zu York Hall, Ich habe so gute Erinnerungen an dort kämpfen.

 

Es ist immer eine gute Atmosphäre dort, es ist wirklich ein besonderer Ort,.

 

Wir wissen nicht viel über Dinars wissen (Skripka), aber habe gehört, er ist ein sehr zäher Bursche ist.

 

Zu Beginn dieses Jahres schlug er deutscher Perspektive Tunahan Keser und von dem, was wir gehört haben, das war ein großer Kampf und eine fantastische Performance von Dinars.

 

So dass wir ihn nicht ein Jota zu unterschätzen, sondern auch wissen, dass er schlagbar ist, und das ist unser Plan, schlugen ihn und tun es in der Art. "

STEP, TX (Juli 19, 2015) – In seiner ersten 8-Runden-Kampf, ungeschlagen Superfedergewicht Sensation, Mario Barrios (10-0, 5 KOs), einem Schall Sieg gegen kreuzte Arturo Esquivel (9-3, 2 KOs), zu seinem zehnten Sieg aufzeichnen. Die eindrucksvolle Eroberung erfolgte im vergangenen Samstag an der Don Haskins Zentrum in El Paso, Texas auf der PBC auf CBS Ereignis, titelte durch Carl Frampton vs. Alejandro Gonzalez Jr.

 

Mit seiner enormen Höhe und Reichweite Vorteil, Barrios kontrolliert die Aktion mit einem langen Jab und präzisen Kombinationen. Esquivel, , wer der Mann war natürlich größer, war nicht in der Lage, keine saubere Schläge auf Barrios landen, wer gewann jede Runde. Scorecards lesen 80-72 über die Grenze.

 

“Gehen acht Runden zum ersten Mal war eine großartige Lernerfahrung für mich.” Said Mario Barrios, die von verwaltet wird Al Haymon. “Ich konnte mich während des gesamten Kampfes Tempo und nie müde.
