SAN ANTONIO, TX (Dezember 17, 2019) – WBA superleichter Champion, Mario “Der Azteke” Stadtviertel (25-0, 16 KOs), continues to receive accolades from his hometown of San Antonio, Texas. September 28, 2019, Barrios defeated Batyr Akhmedov, winning the vacant WBA World Title, becoming the first world champion from San Antonio im letzten 25 Jahre.

Heute, Barrios was honored with a special recognition at the Commissioners Court. Commissioner Justin Rodriguez from Bexar County, Precinct 2, who sponsored the ceremony, was joined by his colleagues on Commissioners Court in San Antonio and presented Barrios with a proclamation.

“It’s an honor to be recognized by the Commissioners Court here in my hometown of San Antonio,” Said Barrios. “It’s been a nice ride since winning my world title. I’ve been meeting some very influential people, and these are individuals that are making a difference in San Antonio. Today was incredible and I want to thank everyone for all their support.”

Barrios has been active in his community since becoming a world champion. Im Oktober, Barrios joined Shoe Palace and gave way shoes to thirty families at the Jungen- und Mädchenclub.

“I think being a positive role model is important, so I’m going to join forces with everyone, to help make San Antonio a better place for our youth,” Barrios weiter. “Building a strong community is what’s important at the end of the day, and I’ll be here to help out. Bald, I’ll be having a big fight in San Antonio, and I’m going to make sure tickets are priced reasonable so everyone can come out and enjoy the fights. It would be nice to see the support from the fans, that’s what gets me excited. I cant wait to fight in San Antonio.”

DAVIES ENTERTAINMENT ANNOUNCES JAMES KIRKLAND CO-PROMOTIONAL DEAL WITH WARRIORS BOXING

San Antonio, Texas – Davies Entertainment is proud to announce that knockout artist James Kirkland (34-2, 30 KO) has signed a two year, six fight co-promotional deal with Warriors Boxing (who have worked on previous fight cards with the likes of PBC, Top Rank, Golden Boy, Etc) . After a four year layoff, Kirkland returned to the ring in August of 2019 and has won his first two fights convincingly by way of knockout.


Kirkland has been one of boxing’s most explosive fighters with his sights set on lining up a huge fight with major contenders in 2020 and gradually working his way back into world title contention. This deal will provide the vicious southpaw the opportunity of achieving that and more.


“My only goal has been to get back on top and with this kind of team surrounding me I feel like it’s only a matter of time before it happens,” said Kirkland.


Kirkland will be in attendance at tonight’s Terrence Crawford fight in New York.

MATAMOROS, MEXIKO (Mai 30, 2019) – Prince Ranch Boxen 18-year-old featherweight sensation, Ricky Medina (3-0 2KOs) von San Antonio, Texas, will return to the ring this Friday for his fourth professional bout at The Casa Ahida Cafeteria Gourmet in Heroica Matamoros, Mexiko.

SAN ANTONIO, TX (Dezember 1, 2018) – Last night at the Scottish Rite Theatre in San Antonio, TX, TMB & PRB Unterhaltung und Roy Jones Jr. Boxen Promotions, vorgestellt, “Whose ‘0’ Will Go 2”, wo Kendo Castaneda (15-0, 7 KOs) captured the NABA super lightweight title with a unanimous decision victory Gilbert Venegas Jr.. (10-1, 6 KOs), handing him his first loss as a professional.
In den ersten Runden, both fighters were having their moments, landing hard shots, but as the fight progressed, Castaneda started to get in a grove by going to the body. Venegas held his own but couldn’t get his punches off like he wanted too, and Castaneda started to take over the fight. Local hero, Luey Villareal (4-0-1, 1 KO) captured the ABF middleweight title with a stunning TKO against Michael Klekotta (2-4, 1 KO). Villareal broke down Klekotta for the first three rounds before stopping him with a barrage of punches in the fourth round. The time was at the 1:20 Marke.
4-Round Super Featherweight
18-jährige Sensation, Ricky Medina (2-0, 2 KOs), scored a second-round KO over Jorge De Leon (0-5). Medina landed a powerful uppercut in the middle of round two, sending De Leon to the canvas. He then followed with a devastating right hook to the temple, knocking out De Leon at the 2:58 Marke.
4-Runder Super Federgewicht Kampf
Xavier Wilson (9-0, 1 KO) remained undefeated with a unanimous decision victory against vs Gelacio Cruz (2-4-3, 1 KOs). Wilson used lateral movement to land his punches off angles.Scorecards read 40-36 zweimal und 39-36 for Wilson.

DANIEL “DAS BIEST” BAIZ

SAN ANTONIO, TX (Oktober 25, 2018) – Prince Ranch Boxer Daniel “The Beast” Baiz (12-1, 5 KOs), will return to action this Saturday, Oktober 27, 2018 at the San Antonio Shrine Auditorium in San Antonio, Texas. Baiz will face Leonardo Esquivel Carrizal (5-4-1, 2 KOs) in a 4-round bout and vowed to fight at welterweight by the start of 2019. This fight will be at a catch weight of 150 lbs.

 

 

 

“I know what I have to do to become one of the best fighters in the world and part of that is making the right choices to fight at the right weight,” said Baiz. “I know that fighting at welterweight will give me the best possible chance to win a world title. I’m looking forward to fighting in front of my hometown fans once again this Saturday.”
