GUADALAJARA, MX (Červenec 26, 2016) – Letos Sobota, newly crowned undefeated IBO super-bantamweight world champion, Moises “Chucky” Květiny (25-0, 17 KO), received his belt from co-manager Od Henryho Rivy of Pro Box Management. Last June, Flores scored an impressive unanimous decision victory over Pavel Ambunda (24-2, 10 KO), in his home town of Windhoek, Namibie (Afrika), to earn the world title strap.
Květiny, who is also the WBA interim champion, is now the mandatory challenger to face WBA super-champion Guillermo Rigondeaux (17-0, 11 KO). Both camps are in negotiations with the possibility of the fight happening in the next few months. If the fight comes to fruition, both the WBA and IBO world title belts will be on the line. After receiving his IBO world title belt, and a big fight looming with Rigondeaux, Flores speaks on his current situation.
“Winning the IBO world championship is a testament to my hard work and the great team around me,” said Mexico’s Moises “Chucky” Květiny. “Together we worked really hard to get this world title. “I’ve got big plans but that all goes out the window if I don’t do what I have to against Crespo,” Del Valle said from his training camp in Puerto Rico. “Anybody who really knows boxing understands that a record doesn’t determine how good a fighter is. I’ve seen Crespo before. He’s tough and willing to take on anybody which is evident by the fact that he’s facing me rather than a lesser opponent. I’m training like I’m the underdog since this fight is close to his hometown and I’ve got a lot on the line.”

KO Artist Jonathan Guzman to Face Daniel ‘Bad Boy’ Rosas for IBF #2 Position at Super Bantamweight on April 29

Promoter Sampson Lewkowicz of Sampson Boxing proudly announces the IBF has agreed to sanction a super bantamweight voluntary elimination fight between their #7 contender Jonathan Guzman and #14, Daniel Rosas for the #2 position in their ratings.
Under the IBF rules criteria, two of the top five available contenders can compete in a voluntary elimination fight for the second-highest spot in the ratings. Guzman (20-0, 20 KO) from Santo Domingo, Dominikánská republika, and Rosas (20-2-1, 12 KO) from Mexico City, are Sampson Boxing promotional stablemates. The bout is scheduled for Sobota, Duben 29, 2016, v Atlantic City, New Jersey.

Zápasy na hlavní události vysílané Showtime minulou sobotu (Únor 27) v Honda Center v Anaheimu, Kalifornie, Ruiz (36-3, 32 KO) pomstil se Juliu Cesarovi Cejovi a získal zpět svůj světový šampionát WBC v super bantamové váze prostřednictvím TKO 1 (:51 sekundy).
“Hugo byl dnes večer bojovník, o kterém jsem věděl, že je,” řekl šťastný Lewkowicz. “V prvním boji, dal tomuto muži příliš velký respekt. Tentokrát vyšel ven, aby ho zničil, a to se mu podařilo.”
Ruiz a Ceja se poprvé setkali loni v srpnu. Velký levý hák ve třetím kole měl Ceju téměř mimo, ale Cej si v pátém vysadil vlastní hák a skončil vítězstvím TKO, sekund později.
V odvetném zápase v sobotu, Ruiz upustil Ceju jedním ze svých prvních úderů, poslal ho tvrdě dolů a poranil si kotník. Ceja se zvedl, ale následná palba věci nadobro ukončila.
Lewkowicz říká, že budoucnost je nyní pro jeho 29letého bojovníka z Los Mochis jasná, Mexiko.
“Ceja pláče po třetí rvačce, ale na to se nedíváme,” řekl Lewkowicz. “Až na jeden šťastný úder v prvním souboji, Hugo mu dominoval každé kolo. Více nás zajímá jeden z dalších šampionů super bantamové váhy v této vzrušující divizi.”

Salita Promotions Signs Russian Super Bantamweight Vladimir Tikhonov

Promoter Dmitriy Salita of Salita Promotions proudly announces the signing of undefeated super bantamweight prospect Vladimir Tikhonov to a promotional contract.
Pro jelikož 2008, the 25-year-old southpaw, from Saint Petersburg, Rusko, sports an undefeated record of 13-0, 7 KO. As an amateur boxer who finished with a record of 85-15, Tikhonov was a gold medallist at the 2008 All-Russia Class A Tournament 2008 in Togliatti and a silver medallist in 2007 and was recognized as the best boxer of the tournament. He has also been given the designation as a Sport Master of Russia.
Tikhonov has had only 13 boje in eight years and ventured out of his native country only once as a professional. Promoter Salita says that’s about to change.
“Vladimir is an extremely talented fighter with excellent potential to become a world champion,” Said Word. “We are going to get him active and bring him to the United States where he can become known as a top contender in his division. I am very happy to have formed this agreement with one of Russia’s best up-and-coming fighters.”

Sampson Boxing Signs ‘Bad Boy’ Rosas to a Promotional Agreement

Sampson Lewkowicz of Sampson Boxing is proud to announce the signing of formidable super bantamweight contender Daniel “Bad Boy” Rosas to a promotional agreement.

A tough, toe-to-toe slugger with fast hands and a penchant for body punching, 26-year-old Rosas says he’s happy to be joining the Sampson Boxing stable.

San Antonio, TX (Červen 4, 2015)–Letos v květnu 22, Super bantamová váha Adam Lopez vyhrál v 6 kolech jednomyslné rozhodnutí nad Miguelem Tamayem a zvýšil svůj rekord na 12-0.
Rodák ze San Antonia vyřadil všechny tři rozhodčí skóre 60-54 sečte.
Lopez byl z vítězství obzvlášť nadšený, protože se odehrálo nedaleko místa, kde vyrůstal v jižní Kalifornii.
“Jsem původem z Kalifornie a měl jsem na zápase spoustu rodiny a přátel. Byl to těžký boj s veteránem z 30 boje. Boxoval jsem a dal si na čas, abych vyhrál každé kolo,”Said Lopez.
Výhra se neobešla bez nákladů, protože si Lopez poranil ruku, ale dokázal se prosadit.
“Zranil jsem si ruku a se zkušeným soupeřem udělal maximum. Mám ruku v sádře a dávám si pár týdnů pauzu. Měl bych být zpátky Červenec 17 na ShoBox. Jen vidím, co pro mě můj tým naplánoval. Jsem rád, že mě můj promotér Vito Mielnicki z GH3 Promotions má na další kartě ShoBox.”
