ATLANTIC CITY (Jan. 21, 2017) – In a stunningly one-sided affair, Danny “Baby Face Assassin” Roman scored an upset ninth-round TKO over previously unbeaten Adam López in a WBA Super Bantamweight Title Eliminator Divendres en l'esdeveniment principal de ShoBox: La Nova Generació on SHOWTIME from Bally’s Atlantic City Hotel and Casino.

He’s fought five times on ShoBox but now doesn’t look like he is going to get that title fight since this is the second opportunity he had and he took a real beating. It’s going to take a while for him to come back.”

“I thought I was clawing my way back into the fight, but my eye started hurting. It was the first uppercut that knocked me down in the fourth that got me right in the eye. It was hard to keep on going with my eye like that.
“When I got back to the corner after the ninth round, Ronnie told me he had seen enough and he stopped the fight.”
In the co-main event of the evening, Super Middleweight invicte Ronald "Flatline" Ellis took a unanimous eight-round decision in a messy-grappler-type affair overChristopher "Ice Cold" Brooker amb les puntuacions 79-73 dues vegades i 77-75.

“At the end of the day, I just fight. It is up to fans who watch, they are the real judges for me.”

“He was moving a lot and I couldn’t neutralize that,’’ Robles said. “He was slicker than I thought he was going to be. I was putting on a lot of pressure and wanted to work the body, but he was slick and able to withstand what I was doing.
“I just have to get back to training and get better. You’ll see more of me. I will be back.”

NOVA YORK (Jan. 9, 2017) – The previously announced matchup between undefeated WBA ranked No 3-ranked super bantamweight Adam López and the WBA’s No. 4-classificat Danny Roman has been elevated to a 12-round title eliminator for the WBA (regular) Super Bantamweight belt held by Nehomar Cermeno.
López (16-0-1, 8 KOs) and Roman (20-2-1, 7 KOs) will square off in the most significant fight of their careers in the main event of a ShoBox: La Nova Generació quadrupleheader en Divendres, Jan. 20, viure TEMPS DE LA FUNCIÓ (10 p.m. I/PT, en diferit a la Costa Oest) des Bally’s Atlantic City Hotel and Casino.

ADAM LOPEZ VS. DANNY ROMAN – 10 Rondes, Super Bantamweights

RONALD ELLIS VS. Christopher Brooker, 8 Rondes, Superpesos mitjans

Com amateur, Ellis upset Terrell Gausha to win the 2010 Guants d'Or Nacionals. Gausha went on to represent the United States at the 2012 Olympic Games and is now an undefeated professional middleweight.
Brooker, a physically strong, aggressive-minded boxer-puncher, is trying to regain his winning ways after a nine-fight winning streak ended when he lost by 10º-round TKO to highly regarded Ronald Gavril (16-1) últim Octubre. 8 in Las Vegas. “In my last fight I lost because I kept looking for the KO. I have a new trainer now (Gaunch Muhammad), and I’m getting back to the technical part of boxing. I’m jabbing more, and in my previous camps I wasn’t jabbing or boxing enough. I have the heart and condition but I have to get to my opponent with the jab.’’
The Philadelphia native was a top level amateur who has been active since turning professional in 2015.
KENNETH SIMS JR. VS. WELLINGTON ROMERO – 8 Rondes, Super Lightweights
Sims, de Chicago, is matched with unquestionably the most dangerous opponent of a career that began in March 2014. This will be the eight-round debut for the 23-year-old, who has gone six full rounds six times.
“This is the biggest fight of my career,’’ said Sims, who is coming off a six-round decision over Jonathan Dinong últim Novembre. 11. “I will be prepared for anything that I have to do. I’ve seen videos of Romero and I know he is a good fighter. I fought world champions in the amateurs so it’s not a big deal to fight him. Romero understands that this could likely be his most daunting task to date. “I’m looking forward to introducing myself to the American public,'', Va dir. “Sims is a good fighter but I will always like challenges, and this will be my biggest challenge as a pro.’’
STEPHON YOUNG VS. DANIEL ROSAS – 8 Rondes, Super Bantamweights

“Training has been great. I already have been in camp for two months. The fight against Potapov was my first with my new coach (Herman Caicedo), and this will be our third fight. We won the NABA title by beating Lopez and now we’re back.”

(Novembre. 4, 2016) - Tares "The Real Deal Shelestyuk va mantenir un rècord d'imbatibilitat i va continuar el seu ascens a la divisió de pes welter amb un tancat, decisió unànime de 10 rondes sobre el seu oponent més dur fins ara, Jimmy "La Veritat" Herrera a Divendres de esdeveniment principal d'a ShoBox: La Nova Generació triple en viu en TEMPS DE LA FUNCIÓ des de l'exterior Productes Omega Centre d'esdeveniments a Corona, Califòrnia.
Shelestyuk (15-0, 9 KOs), la 2012 Medalla de bronze dels Jocs Olímpics per Ucraïna, va ser victoriós pels resultats de 96-93 dues vegades i 95-94. Favorit dels fanàtics locals Manuel “La Tempesta” Méndez (13-1-2, 9 KOs), of Indi, Qualif., va registrar un cop de puny impressionant, 2:32 nocaut a la primera ronda davant invictes anteriorment Vitor Jones Freitas (12-1, 1 ND, 6 KOs), de Salvador, Bahia, Brasil, en un combat programat de vuit rondes que va obrir la retransmissió.
Southpaw Shelestyuk, que va entrar al ring va ocupar el número núm. 9 a l'OMB i núm. 13 a l'AMB, va rebutjar una aposta decidida d'Herrera per guanyar tot i haver-se atorgat un punt per una retenció excessiva a la cinquena ronda.

Com vaig dir, era dur però res d'especial. Quan em van anar les cames, Vaig començar a treballar dins. El vaig guanyar bé a l'última ronda i si n'hi havia 30 segons més, Jo podria haver-lo aturat.
"Estic desitjant ser més actiu 2017. Em prendré dues o tres setmanes de descans i tornaré de seguida al gimnàs".
"La veritat" fa mal i Herrera va tenir més de la seva part justa de moments en una lluita apretada. Herrera, un professional des de desembre 2009, va pensar que era una prova legítima per a Shelestyuk i ho va ser. Però Taras era més actiu (aterratge 169 de 689 cops, comparat amb el d'Herrera 130 de 460). Cada un connectat 28 per cent del temps.
Herrera, que havia derrotat a prospectes invictes en quatre dels nou combats anteriors, no estava content amb el veredicte. “Va ser una bona lluita. No hi ha molt que pugui dir. Vaig pensar que estava més a prop del que indicaven les puntuacions. M'he divertit allà dins i li dono crèdit. Ell era tot el que esperava. És un lluitador intel·ligent".

"No conec Bujaj, però vaig veure la seva lluita amb Junior Wright, així que sé que és dur.
"Crec que aquest és un gran pas per a mi. Ell és 16-0, un bon lluitador que sap punxar o boxejar, i això és per un cinturó. Aquesta és una bona lluita per a tots dos.

"Aquesta és la meva segona lluita ShoBox. Estic molt feliç de tornar després de l'última victòria contra Zubov. L'objectiu és mantenir-se ocupat, Torneu a principis de l'any que ve i en algun moment l'any vinent estigueu preparats per lluitar per un títol important d'algun tipus".
STEVE BUJAJ:
"Estic desitjant aquesta lluita, el meu primer a la xarxa de televisió, per veure on sóc. Com em sento, Ho tinc tot per guanyar, tot per perdre. Això m'empeny al següent nivell, o em quedo on sóc.
"Estic preparat per a qualsevol tipus de lluita. Sóc un lluitador versàtil i tindré l'avantatge d'alçada.
"Ara em sento preparat per a les lluites més grans, l'exposició addicional a SHOWTIME, les valoracions, els títols, tot això. Però definitivament ho seré encara més després Divendres.
"No crec que això passi 10 rondes. Sento que el trencaré i finalment l'aturaré. Sento que tinc les habilitats i sens dubte el cor. Estic sa i llest per marxar.
"Vaig veure la seva última baralla ShoBox, i vaig pensar que era bastant decent. És bastant baix per a un pes creuer. Encara que tots dos som de Nova York, Mai havia sentit parlar d'ell abans.

"Hem estudiat l'estil de lluita de Mendez i tenim molt de respecte pel seu entrenador, Joel Díaz. Sé que Méndez és molt fort i s'avança. No sé si li agrada quan els seus oponents ataquen des dels costats, però estic disposat a lluitar contra ell pels costats., de cap i de peus a peus”.

"Aquesta és la meva novena lluita amb Joel i ens coneixem molt bé. A través del dolent i del bo, ell ha estat allà per mi.
"Estic segur que Freitas té confiança en la seva habilitat, però com qualsevol altre lluitador invicte ho fa bé fins que toca la paret., que és el que Joel vol que li faci fer. Ell vol que el castigui, pren el meu temps.
"Sento que tinc poder natural, pot agafar un cop de puny i tenir cor. Pega'm tant com vulguis, però vés amb compte un cop connecto i canvio les coses. El meu objectiu sempre és trencar-los, començant pel cos.
"Potser no tinc el pedigrí d'alguns d'aquests nois, però estic aprenent defensa, com em pas a mi mateix, mantenir-se a punt i el més important, només com lluitar. Com més experiència, com més madur et fas.
"Demà Només vull ser jo i escoltar el Joel al racó. No voldria quedar-me al marge de mi. Si vol parar-se i colpejar, fem-ho. Asseguro que és ell qui tornarà després dels primers moments".
