Undefeated M-1 Challenge Welterweight Champion Alexey Kuchenko decisions Murad Abdulaev in rematch

M-1 UTMANING 72 RESULTAT
MOSCOW (November 19, 2016) – I sin första titel försvar, M-1 Challenge welterweight champion Alexey Kuchenko(15-0-0, M-1: 7-0-0) won a five-round decision over challenger Murad “Hunter” Abdulaev (15-5-0, M-1: 3-3-0) last night in a rematch to headline M-1 Challenge 72 in Mowcow.
Kunchenko, fighting out of Tyumen, Ryssland, defeated defending champion Abdulaev, Rysslands, i april förra året på M-1 Challenge 65 when he was unable to continue in round four.
Rising Russian middleweight star Artem Frolov (8-0-0, M-1: 5-0-0) also remained unbeaten, stopping veteran American fighter Luigi “Den italienska Tank” Fioravanti (26-15-0, M-1: 4-4-0), a former M-1 Challenge middleweight title challenger, på slag i öppningsrundan.
Former M-1 Challenge lightweight champion Artiom Damkovsky (22-10-0, M-1: 12-7-0), Vitryssland, may have positioned himself for another title shot by defeating Russian Alexey “Tilldelning” Makhnos (13-5-0, 3-2-0), whose corner stopped the fight in the third round.

PETERSBURG, Ryssland (November 9, 2016) – The already loaded M-1 Challenge 73: Slaget vid Narts card has been bolstered by the M-1 Global announcement that two American fighters, Lee “American Bulldog” Morrison och “The Finisher” Josh Rättelse House, have been added to the 2016 season-ending event December 9th i Ingusjien, Ryssland.
A super showdown between M-1 Challenge middleweight champion Ramadan Emeev(14-3-0, M-1: 8-1-0) and KO artist specialist Anatoly Tokov (24-2-0, M-1: 9-1-0) vilje rubrik M-1 Challenge 73: Slaget vid Narts in a battle of elite Russian fighters.
I co-funktionen, Mästaren M-1 Challenge fjäder John “Detta är den” Buchingers (31-4-0, M-1: 6-0-0), slåss av Slovakien, defends his title belt against undefeated Russian challenger Magomed Idrisov (5-0-0, M-1: 5-0-0).

Morrison (15-7-0, M-1: 2-4-0) and Rettinghouse (13-4-0, M-1: 1-0-0) are both fighting out of the state of Washington.
Morrison faces undefeated Russian prospect Moysar Evoloev (5-0-0, M-1: 5-0-0) in a fight contested at a 140-pounds (63.5 kilogram) catchweight. Morrison is a grappler (see photo below with him in top position) who defeated current M-1 Challenge bantamweight title-holder Pavel Vitruk by decision at M-1 Challenge 58.
Fighting at home in Ingushetia, Evloev is also a grappler who is coming off a first-round knockout of Alexander Krupenkin this past May at M-1 Challenge 66 (på bilden nedan).
Rettinghouse, den King of the Cage mästare, tar på Sergey Morozov (6-1-0, M-1: 3-1-0) in a bantamweight with future title implications for the winner.
A submission master who has a strong Brazilian Ju-Jitsu background, Rettinghouse is coming off his successful M-1 Global debut this past May at M-1 Challenge 66, in which Rettinghouse stopped Vadim Zhloboch in the opening round due to an injury.
Morozov, fighting out of Kazakhstan, is an outstanding striker and well-rounded MMA fighter. He was on the wrong end of the M-1 Challenge 68 Fight of the Night last July in a loss by decision to Rafael Dias.
Vid M-1 Challenge 59, Morozov (på bilden nedan) was awarded the Knockout of the Night award for his demolishing of Andy Young a year ago July.
An impressive victory will position the Rettinghouse-Morozov winner for a potential M-1 Challenge bantamweight title fight with defending champion Vitruk.

PETERSBURG, Ryssland (November 3, 2016) – The M-1 Challenge 72 main card is set with the recent announcement of four interesting bouts, headlined by M-1 Challenge welterweight champion Alexey Kunchenko‘s title defense against former title-holder Murad “Hunter” Abduleav, November 18 i Moskva, Ryssland.

In addition to the rematch between Kunchenko (14-0-0, M-1: 6-0-0) and Abdulaev (15-4-0, M-1: 3-1-0), the lightweight fight between former champion Artiom Damkovsky och Alexey “Tilldelning” Makhnos had already been announced by M-1 Global.
Undefeated Russian middleweight Artem Frolov (7-0-0, M-1: 4-0-0), a strong striker and Combat Sambo master, faces American opponent Luigi “Den italienska Tank” Fiorvanti (26-14-0, M-1: 4-3-0) battle with future title fight implications on the line for the winner.
Frolov is coming off a three-round unanimous decision over Rafael Xavier vid M-1 Challenge 70, while Fiorvanti is considered a good all-around fighter who is a former M-1 Challenge middleweight title challenger.
In a featherweight bout, fully recovered Kurbaneli Abdusalamor (6-2-0, M-1: 4-0-0) faces fellow Russian Timur Nagibin (7-2-0, M-1: 3-1-0). Abdusalamov has won four fights in a row, including his last 13 months ago against American Lee Morrison, which ended in a 3-round majority decision for the Russian fighter before he was sidelined with injuries.
Lätt Damir Ismagulov (8-2-0, M-1: 4-1-0), a native of Kazakhstan fighting out of Russia, meets Brazilian Rubenilton “Rubinho” Päron (16-3-0, M-1: 0-1-0). Ismagulov has won his last three fights, innefattande en 3rd-omgången knockout av Raul Tutarauli i M-1 Challenge 66 Fight of the Night. Pereira is coming off a non-title fight loss by decision to M-1 Challenge lightweight champion Alexander Butenko.

Buchingers (31-4-0, M-1: 6-0-0), slåss av Slovakien, is riding a 10-fight win streak into M-1 Challenge 73 since he lost to Conor McGregor i 2012. He captured the vacant M-1 Challenge title October 17, 2014 vid M-1 Challenge 52, stoppa Tural Nizami (see picture below) in the fourth round on punches in their Fight of the Night. Buchinger made a successful title defense 13 months ago at M-1 Challenge 62, taking a 5-round unanimous decision over Mansour Korobkov. I hans sista match, this past June against Mikhail Korobkov vid M-1 Challenge 67, Buchinger needed only 4:41 of the opening round to choke his opponent into a submission in their non-title fight.
Idrisov is a strong striker and Russian Whu-Shu Sanda champion. He knockout current M-1 Challenge lightweight champion Alexander Butenko in his professional MMA debut, tillbaka 2013 in a non-M-1 Global fight. His three M-1 Global victories have been against Yuri Maia (KO1 – stansar) i M-1 Challenge 49 Knockout of the Night, Max Coga (DEC3) och Sergei Grecicho (DEC3) in his last fight September 20, 2015 vid M-1 Challenge 51 (see picture below).
Additional M-1 Challenge 73 fights will soon be announced. All fights subject to change.

Vladimir Tikhonov, rated nr 9 genom WBA, och nr 13 by WBO, has put word out that he’s ready, willing and more than able to rumble with the best and brightest in the super bantamweight division.

Scott QUIGG, “let’s get it on”, he is calling the former WBA champion out, through promoter Dmitriy Salita.

Guillermo Rigondeaux, “I respect your skills but don’t believe you are invincible”, is Tikhonov’s message for the Cuban sweet scientist.

Nonito Donaire, “If you take care of business November. 5 against Jessie Magdalendo then how about you step to the line against me,”, said the 15-0 (8 Kos) ryska.

“Tikhonov is a big, strong super bantamweight who knows how to use his height, reach and power,” Salita said of the southpaw pugilist tutored by Igor Shafer in St Petersburg, Ryssland. “Vladimir is very well schooled and wants to fight the best fighters in the division. Russia is producing lots of top notch fighters, contenders and world champions. I feel that Vladimir has the skills and experience to be the new face in the super bantamweight division!”

Den 26 year-old Tikhonov got it done in his last outing against 40-4 Mikhail Krivolapov. Salita has proven himself to be judicious talent spotter, no surprise since he’s been to the mountain top himself, as a standout at 140 pounds, med en 35-2-1 record at junior welterweight/welterweight. “This Russian is ready to rock and makes heads roll at super bantamweight,” Ordet sa. “He can finish out this year with a bang and climb even higher in 2017!”

Ingusjien, Ryssland (Oktober 22, 2016) – Former two-time M-1 Challenge light heavyweight champion Viktor Nemkov put himself in position for another title shot and Pavel Vitruk became the first M-1 Challenge Bantamweight Champion at last night’s entertaining M-1 Challenge 71 i Ingusjien, Ryssland.
Kazakstan-native Nemkov (24-6-0, M-1: 17-5-0), fighting out of Stary Oskol, Ryssland, won a three-round unanimous decision from former Bellator champion Attila “Pumukli” Vegh(29-8-2, M-1: 0-2-0), of Slovakia, i Main Event.

Fighting in the inaugural M-1 Challenge Bantamweight Championship, Russian fighter Vitruk (14-2-0, M-1: 8-2-0) besegrade Vitali Branchuk (21-6-0, M-1: 1-2-0), Ukrainas, by way of a fourth-round submission.
Vitruk forced Branchuk into submission
Ryska weltervikt Sergey Romanov (9-1-0, M-1: 3-0-0) took a three-round unanimous decision from Carlos Alexandre “Indio” Päron (37-11-1, M-1: 1-1-0), Brasilien, while M-1 Challenge lightweight champion Alexander Butenko (42-11-2, M-1: 9-1-0) decisioned Brazilian foe Rubenilton “Rubinkho” Päron (16-3-0, M-1: 0-1-0) in a non-title fight contested at a 160-pound catrchweight.
Former M-1 Challenge light heavyweight Stephan “T-800” Puetz (15-2-0, M-1: 5-1-0), Tyskland, also put himself in position for another title fight, possibly against his arch-rival Nemkov, by forcing Brazilian Marcus Vinicius “Mountan” Lopes (9-2-0, M-1: 1-1-0) into submission via a rear naked choke in the third round.

Also announced was a lightweight battle between former champion Artiom Damkovsky och Alexey “Tilldelning” Makhnos.
Kunchenko (14-0-0, M-1: 6-0-0), fighting out of Tyumen, Ryssland, kommer att göra sitt första titelförsvar. He defeated defending champion Abdulaev, who was unable to continue in round four of their fight this past April at M-1 Challenge 65.
Abdulaev (15-4-0, M-1: 3-2-0), fighting out of Anapa, Ryssland, originally captured the M-1 Challenge welterweight title at M-1 Challenge 58, fatta ett beslut från Marcello Britopå juni 6, 2015 for the vacant title.

Damkovsky (21-10-0, M-1: 11-7-0), fighting out of Minsk, Vitryssland, has a crowd pleasing style. His last fight resulted in a kick-knockout victory (see picture below) av Maxim Divnich this past September at M-1 Challenge 70.
A native of Moscow, 26-year-old Makhno (13-4-0, M-1: 3-1-0) is a superior kicker and strong striker. I hans sista match, this past June at M-1 Challenge 68, Makhno won a decision over Felipo Rego (see picture below).

Emeev (14-3-0, M-1: 8-1-0), who was the M-1 Global 2015 Fighter Årets, returns to action after suffering a torn ligament in his elbow, which forced the Azerbaijan native to withdraw from his scheduled M-1 Grand Prix Middleweight Championship fight withAlexander Shlemenko.
The 29-year-old Emeev, fighting out of Makhachkala, Ryssland, first captured the vacant M-1 Challenge middleweight title in 2012, taking a 5-round unanimous decision from Mario Miranda vid M-1 Challenge 35, and he successfully won the rematch five months later vidM-1 Challenge 38, stopping Miranda via strikes in the third round.
I 2014, Emeev lost his title belt to Vyacheslav Vasilevsky by way of a fourth-round knockout (stansar) vid M-1 Challenge 51 i 2014. The resilient Emeev, emellertid, bounced back to regain his throne as M-1 Challenge middleweight champion, using a choke hold to submit Vasilevsky in the opening round at
M-1 Challenge 56.
Emeev has successfully defended his title against Luigi Fioravanti, who was unable to continue after four rounds at M-1 Challenge 63, and this past April Emeev defeated Brazilian Maiquel Falcao (see picture above) vid M-1 Challenge 65 in the first round by submission (choke).
Tokov (24-2-0, M-1: 9-1-0), 26, is a former ABC champion who fights out of Stary Oskol, Ryssland. He is riding a 17-fight win streak, including knockouts of Enoc Löser Torres vidM-1 Challenge 54 och Albert Duraev vid M-1 Challenge 46.
A feared striker with tremendous power, Tokov has stopped 14 av hans 24 victims to date, resulting in him developing into one of MMA’s most spectacular fighters and a true rising MMA star throughout Russia and Europe.

Ryska weltervikt Sergey Romanov will take on Brazilian fighter Carlos Alexandre “Indio” Päron, former M-1 Challenge light heavyweight champion Stephan “T-800” Puetz, Tyskland, faces Brazilian opponent Marcus Vinicius “Montanha” Lopes, and M-1 Challenge welterweight champion Alexander Butenko meets Brazilian Rubenilton “Rubinkho” Päron in a non-title bout..

The inaugural M-1 Challenge bantamweight championship match between Pavel Vitruk(13-2-0, M-1: 7-2-0) och Vitali Branchuk (21-5-0, M-1: 1-1-0), as well as a light heavyweight showdown featuring 2-time former M-1 Challenge light heavyweight Viktor Nemkov (23-6-0, M-1: 16-5-0) och Attila “Pumukli” Vegh (29-7-2, M-1: 0-1-0), were previously announced by M-1 Global.

Romanov (8-1-0, M-1: 2-0-0) is riding a seven-fight win streak, including a pair of victories at M-1 Challenge 68 över Andreas Birgels by way of an opening-round knockout (stansar), which was exactly the same way Romanov finished off Sergio de Fatimavid M-1 Challenge 65.

Päron (37-11-1, M-1: 1-0-0) made an impressive M-1 debut a year ago at M-1 Challenge 61, besegra Ruslan Zhemukov in the first round with the Submission of the Night. The large majority of his fights have been held in Brazil against his fellow countrymen.

Puetz (14-2-0, M-1: 5-1-0) captured the covered M-1 Challenge light heavyweight title in 2014, when he defeated defending champion Nemkov by way of a five-round split decision. The gifted German successfully defended his title belt twice against Luis Fernando Miranda (SUB2 – choke) vid M-1 Challenge 50 och Valery Mjasnikov(KO/TKO2 – stansar) vid M-1 Challenge 54. Puetz followed up with a third-round stoppage of then-M-1 Challenge heavyweight champion Marcin Tybura in a non-title fight at M-1 Challenge 57.
