Dan Pasciolla looking to defend and win New Jersey State Heavyweight title this Friday against Quian Davis

Atlantic City, NJ (Květen 31, 2018) – Heavyweight Dan Pasciolla (9-3-3) won the New Jersey State Heavyweight title when he won a six-round unanimous decision over former world champion Imamu Mayfield on March 19, 2016.

 

 

 

The 32 year-old native of Brick, New Jersey signed on to fight Quian Davis (4-0-2, 2 KO) this Friday night at The Showboat Hotel in Atlantic City, and was informed that the fight would be for the vacant title.

 

 

 

That was news to Pasciolla and his manager Rich Masini, as the pair believed that Pasciolla was still the champion.

 

 

 

“I have been waiting for a fight. I was in camp in Poland, and I am in better shape. My goal is to get in the ring, and show a different Dan Pasciolla,” said the 5-year veteran.

 

 

 

When asked about Davis, Pasciolla is ready for his undefeated opponent.

 

 

 

“I know he did not have much of an amateur career. He is just another guy that I will be getting into the ring with. Experience plays a factor, and I bring much more than thaton Friday. I have been working hard, and things are coming together,”

 

 

 

Pasciolla is not letting the fact the he is already fighting for a belt that he already owns get in the way of his preparation.

 

 

 

“I am not sure why there is a new title since I already am the champion, but I will walk out with 2 belts on Friday. It is very important because it represents my state, so it is a big deal to me. I do not do a lot of talking. I will do my talking between the ropes.”

 

 

 

“This is a funny and crazy business at times,” said Pasciolla’s manager , Rich Masini. “Dan beat Mayfield for the state title, It is even recognized on Boxrec.com, but somehow, I guess that doesn’t count anymore, but Dan will enter the ring with that belt, and apparently now we are fighting for the same title but a different belt. That aside, Dan will be fighting a tough opponent. Dan is used to being the underdog, but he relishes that role. Dan has worked very hard, and he has transformed his body and is in great shape.”

 

 

 

“I am sure Davis has trained hard. I just think it is very ironic that the same man is fighting for another belt of the same title that he already owns. “I was a little rusty but I got better as the fight went on,” Remillard said. “He’s a tough kid who was slippery inside. If the fight went a little longer, I think I would have gotten him out of there.”

Worcester welterweight Andy Gonzalez (6-1, 5 KO) cruised to a four-round unanimous decision over a game Antonio Chavez Fernandes (7-30-4, 2 KO), of Brockton (MA).

WORCESTER, Hmota. (Březen 20, 2017) – The long trip back begins April 1st pro Matt “Sharp Shooter” Remillard, 12 years to the day from his professional debut, na “New England’s Future 2” show at the Palladium in Worcester, Massachusetts.
Remillard (23-1, 13 KO), fighting out of Manchester, Connecticut, hasn’t boxed for the six years, due to him serving a five-year prison sentence. He takes on Lawrence (MA) lehká váha Augustine “Nemilosrdný” Maura (6-1-3, 3 KO) in the eight-round co-feature. If their tense, near volatile stare-down at a recent press conference is a true indication, Remillard vs. Mauras is not going the distance, to put things mildly.

Seventeen years ago, Chicon first met Remillard at the Manchester PAL gym, but he made the 13-year-old aspiring boxer earn his opportunity to be trained. Paul made Matt clean the bathrooms, take care of spit buckets, etc. before he started training him.
“When he returned to the gym a few months back, I saw that his work ethic hadn’t faded,” Cichon commented. “I don’t believe he’s really that far away from where he was six years ago. He was idle five years but his first day back he sparred 12 kola. He stayed in good physical shape and is hungrier than ever. He thinks he has something to prove after his last fight, but he really doesn’t have anything to prove to me or anybody else. He is fighting a tough kid but Matt’s going to be victorious. I think in four or five more fights he’ll be back where he was in boxing.”

Millville NJ (Říjen 3, 2016)–Rising Promotions is proud to announce the signings of super middleweight Isiah Seldon, super lightweight’s Marvin Johnson & Dan Murray, Bantamweight Dallas Holden, Cruiserweight David Sparks and featherweight Dion Sparks to exclusive promotional contracts.
They join undefeated heavyweight Quian Davis (3-0-2, 2 KO) as the first group of fighters to ink contracts under the Rising Promotions banner.
Davis is coming off a 28 second knockout this past Sobota night in Trenton, New Jersey over Jonathan Hafley

V hlavní události, Thomas LAMANNA bere na Kendal Mena v osmikolovém záchvatu welterové váhy.
Seldon touží po návratu do ringu po dlouhém hledání duší za poslední dva a více let.
“Pracoval jsem v práci a zůstával v tělocvičně. Držel jsem se ostře, ale potřeboval jsem si dát pořádek do života, ” řekl Seldon. “Hledali jsme správný boj. V Rusku mi byly nabídnuty dobré finanční příležitosti, ale chci to udělat správným způsobem. Nejsem v tom kvůli penězům.”
Seldon se cítí ve věku 27, nyní je čas soustředit se na jeho prstenovou kariéru.
“Nejsem mladší, a když mi zavolal Rising Promotions a nabídli mi ten správný boj, Skočil jsem na to.”
Když byl dotázán na veterána Mitchella, Seldon opravdu hodně neví.
“Moc toho nevím. Viděl jsem pár jeho video úryvků a vidím drsné lidi, kteří se hlásí. Měl by to být dobrý boj. Velmi tvrdě jsem na to trénoval a jsem připraven.”
Na otázku, co vidí v příštích několika letech, žřídka, věří, že se Rising Promotions snaží na pódiu postavit několik karet boje, vidí aktivního 2016.
“Dívám se letos na další dva nebo tři zápasy. Rising Promotions řekl, že bych mohl být na jejich kartách do budoucna. Jen se snažím zůstat zaneprázdněn. Jsem 27 let a je čas jít. Režim bestie je zapnutý a já jsem nadšený, že ukážu nového Isiah Seldona. Předtím jsem byl jen výtržník, ale v době volna, Rozvinul jsem své boxerské dovednosti a jsem mnohem lepší bojovník.”

Davise z nedalekého Mays Landing, New Jersey není typický bojovník, který má sny o zisku titulu světové těžké váhy, ale má větší plány, aby pomohl formovat mládež oblasti Jersey Shore jako vzor.
Říct, že Davis je všestranný sportovec, je podhodnocení.
Buena High School, přední ruský fotbal ve všech dobách, byl 48. kolo draftu Florida Marlins a strávil tři roky v jejich systému malé ligy.

“Mým cílem je bojovat, dokud mě ten sport chce. Chci vést boje, které vytvoří můj životopis a dodají mi důvěryhodnost stát se trenérem všech sportovců. Chtěl bych vštípit to, co vím, a mé zkušenosti s baseballem, fotbal a nyní boxovat a stát se všestranným trenérem a vzorem. V komunitě jsou potřební lidé, kteří by měli mentorovat přicházející děti, a mám pocit, že tady můžu být tím chlápkem.”
