NEW YORK - September 7 – Welterweight World Champion Keith Thurman will serve as a guest analyst this Saturday on SHOWTIME CHAMPIONSHIP BOXING COUNTDOWN, providing insight and analysis during undercard streaming fights in advance of this Saturday’s Danny Garcia vs. Shawn Porter WBC Welterweight World Championship. Live streaming coverage from Barclays Center begins at 7 p.m. ET / 4 p.m. PT on the Showtime Sport YouTube-Kanal und Showtime Boxing Facebook-Seite and features multiple live fights and analysis preceding the evening’s three-fight SHOWTIME CHAMPIONSHIP BOXING® telecast (9 p.m. ET / 6 p.m. PT).

LOS ANGELES – FOX Sports today announced it has reached a landmark four-year, multi-platform agreement with Premier Boxing Champions (PBC) making FOX Sports the preeminent broadcaster for PBC’s top-tier championship fights featuring its biggest and brightest stars. The announcement was made by Mark Silverman, Präsident, National Networks, FOX Sports and Alan Haymon, President and CEO of Haymon Sports, creator of the PBC series.

 

 

 

“We’re thrilled to expand our relationship with the PBC in coming years and take the world’s best boxers to the next level by exposing them to the widest possible audiences across FOX, FS1 und FOX Deportes,” said Silverman. “While FOX Sports has been invested in boxing as a key property on both FS1 and FOX Deportes, this will be the first time in more than 30 years that boxing will be regularly featured in prime time on network television.”

ONTARIO, CALIFORNIA (September 4, 2018) – Ungeschlagen Federgewicht Anwärter Brandon Figueroa nimmt robusten Veteran Oscar Escandon in einem 10-Runden-Kampf und 2016 britischer Olympian Joe Joyce Schlachten Iago Kiladze in einer Acht-Runde Schwergewichts-Attraktion in dem Premier Boxing Champions auf FS1 und FOX Deportes Aktion Sonntag, September 30 von Citizens Business Bank Arena in Ontario, Kalifornien.

Figueroa (16-0, 11 KOs), der Bruder des ehemaligen Leichtgewicht-Weltmeister Omar Figueroa, Jr., weiterhin den Leiter im Federgewicht Division mit einem Schritt Testspiel gegen die harten ehemaligen Titel Herausforderer Escandon klettert. Die 21-jährige aus Weslaco, Texas war damit beschäftigt, im vergangenen Jahr, als er alle vier Spiele gewonnen und er hat zwei KO-Siege in diesem Jahr, Giovanni Delgado im März und Luis Suarez Roy Cruz schlägt in seinem letzten Kampf am August 4.

 

 

 

Der 34-Jährige Escandon (25-4, 17 KOs), die kämpften in der 2004 Olympian für Kolumbien, Veteran ist ein hardnosed von Ibague, Kolumbien Suche von zwei harten Verlusten Tugstsogt Nyambayar am Mai Rebound 26 auf FS1 und WBC-Weltmeister im Feder Gary Russell, Jr. in 2017.

WAS DENN: SHOWTIME Sports released Danny Garcia and Shawn Porter’s championship showdowns with welterweight titlist Keith Thurman in advance of their upcoming clash for the vacant WBC Welterweight World Championship Saturday, September 8 live auf Showtime.

 

 

 

Porter’s close but unanimous-decision loss to Thurman and Garcia’s split-decision loss to Thurman are available now in their entirety on SHOWTIME Sports digital platforms. Both the Porter-Thurman 2016 Fight of the Year Candidate and the Garcia-Thurman unification bout, which were broadcast live in primetime on CBS, would have been ruled a draw if a single round in each fight were scored differently.

 

 

 

Die September- 8 SHOWTIME CHAMPIONSHIP BOXING telecast of Garcia vs. Porter from Barclays Center in Brooklyn sees two former champions facing off for the chance at a second world title in one of boxing’s deepest divisions. The fight will mark the sixth fight this year featuring top-10 welterweights on SHOWTIME and the eighth matchup of top-five vs. top-five opponents on the network across all divisions.
