Iraq War veteran and Quincy’s favorite son, Chris Traietti (24-4, 19 KOs), who is also co-promoter of “Fight Night at the Bay”, pounded Nick Lavin (5-6, 4 KOs) from the opening bell to capture the vacant New England Cruiserweight Championship by way of a decisive eight-round unanimous decision. Traietti teed-off on the over-matched Lavin for most of the fight, but his tough Connecticut opponent lasted to the very end.

Derek Silveira making up for lost time Headlining “Fight Night at the Bay”

The 31-year-old Silveira fought for a long time with bones spurs in his right elbow. He underwent surgery and later went to training camp in Las Vegas for a fight that, ne yazık ki, fell through. QUINCY, Kütle. (Temmuz 6, 2017) — Many of New England’s best and most popular professional boxers will be showcased Cumartesi gece, Ağustos 5, üzerinde “Fight Night at the Bay” kart, Granite Chin Promosyonlar tarafından sunulan, at Marina Bay Sportplex in Quincy, Massachusetts.
Former N.E. ağır siklet şampiyonu Derek Silveira (12-1, 6 KOs), Salem'de kavga etmek (MA), will headline against an opponent to be determined in the eight-round main event.

A former World Boxing Council (WBC) United States cruiserweight titlist, Traietti is a college graduate who did one tour of duty in Iraq while serving in the U.S. Hava Kuvvetleri.
