IBF #12 Baranchyk and heavyweight sensation Lippe-Morrison return December 10
Miami, OK (November 29, 2016) – Junior welterweight phenom Ivan “The Beast” Baranchyk and undefeated heavyweight knockout artist Trey Lippe-Morrison, both members of Holden Productions’ “Four State Franchise,” return to the Buffalo Run Casino in Miami, OK Saturday, December 10.
Headlining in a ten round contest, Baranchyk’s fighting his fourth consecutive bout at the Buffalo Run, where he is an adopted fan favorite. Raised in Russia and fighting out of Brooklyn, NY, Baranchyk is 12-0 with 10 wins by knockout. In his most recent bout, Baranchyk clearly outpointed crafty Zhimin Wang on ShoBox over ten rounds to capture both the USBA and WBC USNBC championships.
So far, Baranchyk has won all of his fights decisively and his team believes the sky’s the limit.
“He’s exceeded expectations,” said Promoter Tony Holden. “He’s fought three times on ShoBox and has two first round knockouts plus a dominant decision victory. I’m very excited for his future.”
Lou DiBella, who promotes Baranchyk along with Holden and Fight Promotions Inc, is equally enthused.
“Ivan is one of boxing’s biggest punchers and he’s making the move from prospect to contender. I’m happy he’s found a home away from home in Miami, OK and he’ll be able to continue to impress in front of his adopted hometown fans.”
Opposing the IBF #12 rated Baranchyk is Wilberth Lopez, 16-5 (10 KO’s), of Tuscon, AZ. The tough Lopez has four wins against previously undefeated fighters including Leon Spinks III (6-0-1) and Damian Alejandro Sosa (8-0), besting the latter as part of the Mayweather-Maidana II undercard.
In the co-main event, Lippe-Morrison faces veteran Ty Cobb, 19-7 (11 KO’s), of Wichita Falls, TX. One of the most popular prospects in the US, Lippe-Morrison is 12-0 with all 12 wins by knockout. The fighting pride of Vinita, OK, Lippe-Morrison made his TV debut in September and did so with many eyes on him. The 27-year-old passed with flying colors, stopping fellow unbeaten Ed Latimore in less than 2 ½ minutes. He is a massive draw at the Buffalo Run, where he routinely fights in front of standing room only crowds.
The Lippe-Morrison-Cobb match is scheduled for six rounds.
Also appearing on the card in an eight round junior middleweight contest is fellow “Four State Franchise” member Dillon “White Lightning” Cook. Hailing from Seneca, MO, Cook owns a solid 17-1 professional ledger with 7 victories by way of knockout.
Challenging Cook will be 43 fight veteran Juan Jesus Rivera of Mexico. Rivera, 28-15 (18 KO’s), fought many quality fighters including former world champion Cesar Bazan, Daniel Sandoval, Dierry Jean and Roberto Ortiz.
Other bouts will be announced shortly.

The New Generation: Lippe-Morrison ready for ShoBox debut
Miami, OK (September 22, 2016) – As the son of popular former heavyweight champion Tommy Morrison, Trey Lippe-Morrison’s name alone generates attention.
A quick glance at the Oklahoman’s record shows that all 11 of his victories came by knockout, 10 inside of two rounds. Those who dug deeper into Lippe-Morrison’s career will see that he’s trained by legendary Freddie Roach at Wildcard Boxing Club in Los Angeles, CA. On the contrary, his critics note that his name alone generated the buzz rather than his knockouts and many second generation boxers didn’t meet expectations.
On Friday evening at the Buffalo Run Casino, Lippe-Morrison looks to make his TV debut a successful one when he battles fellow unbeaten Ed “Black Magic” Latimore. The bout opens a quadrupleheader on Shobox: The New Generation and is scheduled for 6 rounds. Latimore, 13-0 (7 KO’s), owns amateur wins over former heavyweight champion Charles Martin and 2012 US Olympian Dominic Breazeale. The Pittsburgh, PA native will be Lippe-Morrison’s toughest test to date and he believes the heavy interest in this fight will only elevate his career when he emerges victorious.
“This is a difficult fight for Trey,” said Tony Holden, Lippe-Morrison’s promoter. “Latimore is undefeated and had a good amateur background. He and his team believe this fight will opens doors for him. The interest in this fight is extremely high not just because of whom Trey is but also since there are two unbeaten American heavyweight squaring off early in their careers. The winner is definitely worthy of being considered a top up and coming heavyweight.”
Lippe-Morrison is a member of Holden Productions’ “Four State Franchise” and fought 9 of his 11 fights at the Buffalo Run Casino, a venue he’s helped sell out multiple times. With the hometown advantage and flawless start to his pro career, Lippe-Morrison knows there will be pressure on him but believes he’s ready to handle it.
“There is a little bit of added pressure,” the 26-year-old said of fighting on TV. “There are of course the people that want to see me on the same level at my father but some of it is brought on by me. My team and I believe I’m ready for this. I’ve been getting a lot better and learning every day under Freddie Roach. Freddie says I’m prepared for the step up and he has full confidence in me. Now I’ve got to go out and perform.”
The quadrupleheader airs live on Showtime at 10 PM ET and also features Ivan “The Volk” Golub against James “Keep em’ Sleepin” Stevenson, Ivan “The Beast” Baranchyk vs Zhimin Wang and Radivoje “Hot Rod” Kalajdzic taking on “Notorious” Travis Peterkin.
Tickets are sold out and this excellent evening of boxing is promoted by DiBella Entertainment and Holden Productions in association with Fight Promotions Inc. and Roc Nation Sports.

Trey Lippe-Morrison Headlines Saturday in Miami, OK!
Miami, OK (January 22, 2016) – Heavyweight sensation Trey Lippe-Morrison will compete in his final six round contest when he faces Thomas Hawkins in the main event of a Holden Productions card at the Buffalo Run Casino in Miami, OK.
Coming from the talent laden city of Houston, TX Hawkins has a 4-1 record with one win by knockout. Although he will enter tomorrow’s fight as the underdog, he sees it as added motivation to spoil future plans for Lippe-Morrison.
“When nobody expects you to win, it puts all of the pressure on your opponent. I’ve seen film on Trey and he’s a tough kid. My trainer knew his father well and Trey is a straight forward fighter just like his dad. As long as I work on what we did in training, we expect to win!”
Perfect as a pro with ten wins all by knockout, Lippe-Morrison’s jaw-dropping power has drawn comparisons to his father. Currently training under the tutelage of Freddie Roach at the Wild Card Boxing Club, the popular Vinita, OK native has huge expectations in boxing circles but must first get past Hawkins.
“It feels good to be moving up from six to eight rounds if all goes as planned,” said Lippe-Morrison. “I don’t know much about Hawkins outside of some footage I saw on YouTube where he appeared to be a patient and smart fighter that will make you pay for mistakes. My plan is to box him and get rounds in. I never go for knockouts they just happen to come.”
“Trey is the real deal and I plan to put him in big fights within the next year,” said promoter Tony Holden. “We are going to keep stepping him up and hope to get him rounds but he continues to knock out every man in front of him. I have no doubt that Trey Lippe-Morrison is the next American heavyweight star.”
Highlighting the undercard will be Lippe-Morrison’s “Four State Franchise” stablemates in separate bouts. Along with Lippe-Morrison, the Four State Franchise has fought in front of standing room only crowds on multiple occasions.
Bartlesville, OK based welterweight Jarrett “The Legacy” Rouse will look to make it 9-0 when he squares off with Arkansas’ Juan Parra over six stanzas.
Welterweight Jesse Cook of Seneca, MO aims for his sixteenth victory but Corpus Christi, TX’s John David Charles will attempt pull off the upset and win for the second time in three bouts. Cook and Charles will do battle over six rounds.
In a six round special attraction junior middleweight bout, unbeaten Nathan Gallimore travels from Evanston, IL to put his 10-0-1 ledger on the line against 34 fight veteran Rahman Yusubov of Texas.
“The Four State Franchise continues to impress in the ring and the demand for them is unlike anything I’ve seen since I promoted Tommy Morrison,” said Holden. “All of these guys can fight and I look forward to seeing them in bigger bouts in the near future.”
