Toro Promotions, Inc. Flexing its Heavyweight Muscles Around the Boxing World

LOS ANGELES (Duben 3, 2025) – Toro Promotions, Inc. has built a powerhouse stable of heavyweights that is making noise all around the boxing world.

Last week in Saudi Arabia, the one-two punch of Tostne “Mr. T” Rogava (11-0, 8 KO) and Dante Stone (18-1, 12 KO) both registered knockouts in the preliminary round of the inaugural Rydah Season/WBC Boxing Grand Prix.

Garcia struggled to land during the second half of the bout, save for a couple moments in the 12^th when the two combatants stood toe-to-toe.

Both combatants had their moments, but facing the toughest opponent of his career, the 27-year-old Adames shined. One judge scored the middleweight bout even at 95-95, while the other two scored it for Adames by scores of 96-94 a 97-93.

“This means a lot for me in my career and this is a big accomplishment winning against a fighter of his caliber,” said Adames, who was born in the Dominican Republic and fights out of Washington Heights in New York City.

“I am aggressive and speedy by nature, so I came in ready to do my thing. He started slow, wanting to see what would happen, and simply had the wrong game plan. He got a bit tired as the fight went on, took a lot of hard shots from me and it was evident that I caused him a lot of damage.”

“I expect my opponent to fight the same style. It was nothing special for me, just a quality fight,"Řekl Derevyanchenko.

“He stayed southpaw, that was the difference in the fight. I don’t know what I’ll do next. I need a little bit of rest and then I will go back to the gym because I love boxing and I love the show.”

“I would like to thank the fans, SHOWTIME and the Montiel family for supporting me. Marriaga was a tough opponent, but I managed to dominate,” said Ramirez. “I had a varied fighting style and kept him on his toes the whole time.”

Marriaga (30-5, 26 KO) was the aggressor throughout, particularly in the first round as he backed Ramirez up with combination punching. LOS ANGELES (Srpen 8, 2020) – FOX Sports and Premier Boxing Champions announced today an exciting slate of boxing shows that will include action in some of the sports’ hottest divisions and is highlighted by the highly anticipated showdown between unified welterweight champion Errol “Pravda” Spence, Jr. a dva-divize mistr Danny “Rychlý” Garcia headlining the first in a series of FOX Sports PBC Pay-Per-Views on Saturday, Listopad 21.

The FOX PBC Fight Night return schedule kicked off tonight with Jamal “Shango” James taking on Thomas Dulorme for the WBA Interim Welterweight title from AEG’s Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles. The schedule includes six events that will be broadcast on FOX, one FOX Sports PBC Pay-Per-View and 11 shows on FS1, running from August 8 through the end of the year. Initially the live events will be held without fans in attendance at the Microsoft Theater at L.A. Live in Los Angeles.

Top welterweight contender Yordenis Ugas (25-4, 12 KO) takes on Abel Ramos (26-3-2, 20 KO) for the WBA Welterweight Title headlining a broadcast that begins at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT. ugas, who was born in Cuba but now lives and trains in Las Vegas, has been one of the most active welterweights in the sport the last three years and will look to capture a welterweight title in his second attempt. The only man standing in his way is Ramos, who scored a stunning victory with a TKO stoppage that came with one second left in his fight against Bryant Perrella on FOX in February.
