Morrison (15-7-0, M-1: 2-4-0) and Rettinghouse (13-4-0, M-1: 1-0-0) are both fighting out of the state of Washington.
Morrison faces undefeated Russian prospect Moysar Evoloev (5-0-0, M-1: 5-0-0) in a fight contested at a 140-pounds (63.5 quilograms) catchweight. Morrison is a grappler (see photo below with him in top position) who defeated current M-1 Challenge bantamweight title-holder Pavel Vitruk per decisió a M-1 Desafiament 58.

BAKU, Azerbaidjan (Juny 5, 2016) — Ukrainian fighter Alexander Butenko won a hard fought 5-round decision over Artiom Damkovsky last night to become the new M-1 Challenge lightweight champion in the M-1 Desafiament 67 main event in Baku, Azerbaidjan.
Butenko (41-11-2) and Damkovsky (20-10-0) battled from start to finish with Buntenko winning a unanimous decision to capture the vacant M-1 Challenge lightweight title.

ST. PETERSBURG, Rússia (Juny 1, 2016) – A sudden illness has forced Magomed Idrisov to withdraw from his scheduled M-1 Challenge featherweight title fight aquest dissabte (Juny 4) against defending champion Joan “Aquest és el” Buchinger a M-1 Desafiament 67: Battle in the Land of Fireat Baku, Azerbaidjan.

Mikhail Korobkov (9-1-1, M-1: 0-1-1), de Rússia, is the late replacement for Idrisov but, due to Korobkov coming off of a loss in his last fight (decision to Timur Nagibin last Friday atM-1 Desafiament 66), his fight versus Buchinger (30-4-0, M-1: 5-0-0) is a not for the title and it has been downgraded from main event to co-feature. Buchinger, lluitant fora d'Eslovàquia, has won his last nine fights dating back four years.
The new main event matches Alejandro “Iron Capture” Butenko (40-11-2, M-1: 7-1-0), d'Ucraïna, and BelarussianArtiom Damkovsky (20-9-0. M-1: 10-6-0) pel vacant M-1 Challenge campionat de pes lleuger.

ST. PETERSBURG, Rússia (Maig 5, 2016) – M-1 Global has announced that M-1 Challenge featherweight champion Joan “Aquest és el” Buchinger will defend his title against undefeated challenger Magomed Idrisov, com a cap de cartell M-1 Desafiament 67, Juny 4 at Baku, Azerbaidjan.
Also announced is a fight between undefeated Kazakh welterweight prospect Shavkat Rakjmonov and Brazilian veteran Carles Alexandre “Indi” Pera.

Buchinger (30-4-0, M-1: 5-0-0), fighting out of his native Slovakia, captured the vacant M-1 Challenge featherweight title 1-½ years ago at M-1 Desafiament 52, parada Tural Nizami (veure la imatge a continuació) in the fourth round on punches. His lone title defense last October was a decision win over current M-1 Challenge lightweight championMansour Barnaoui a M-1 Desafiament 62. Undefeated in his last nine fights, dating back four years, Buchinger is 5-0 en-1 M competència global.
Fighting out of Russia, Idrisov (6-0-0, M-1: 3-0-0) is the European Wu-Sanda champion. PETERSBURG, Rússia (Gener 27, 2016) – President de M-1 Global Vadim Finklechtein ha anunciat pròrrogues de contracte per al campió de pes ploma M-1Joan “Aquest és el” Buchinger, antic títol de pes pesat lleuger M-1 Challenge Stephan “T-800” Puetz i el millor contendent nord-americà de pes ploma Sotavent “Buldog americà” Morrison.
“Hem allargat el contracte amb els combatents veterans de l'M-1 Global Buchinger, Puetz i Morrison,” Finkelchtein va dir. “Treballem constantment en la nostra llista per tenir els millors lluitadors possibles.”
Buchinger (30-4-0, M-1: 5-0-0), el jove de 29 anys d'Eslovàquia, va capturar el títol vacant de pes ploma M-1 Challenge 2014, mitjançant un nocaut de quarta ronda de Tural Raginov a M-1 Desafiament 52. En 2015, Puetz es va enfrontar al campió de pes pesat M-1 Challenge invicte anteriorment Marcin Tybura, que va perdre en tres rondes a causa d'un nas greument trencat a M-1 Desafiament 57. En la seva baralla més recent el desembre passat a M-1 Desafiament 63, Puetz va perdre el seu cinturó de títol en una represa amb Nemkov per decisió.

Barnaoui (12-3-0, M-1: 2-2-0), lluitant fora de París, will be making his first title defense against a dangerous challenger. After defeating previously undefeated Maxim Divnich(10-0-0) (veure la imatge a continuació) by way of a first-round stoppage via punches, Maig 2, 2015 aM-1 Desafiament 57, Barnaoui dropped down in weight and he unsuccessfully challenged M-1 Challenge featherweight champion Ivan Buchinger this past October by five-round decision at M-1 Desafiament 57.
Belarus-native Damkovsky (20-9-0, M-1: 10-6-0), shown below on mat, is riding a four-fight win streak to become the top contender going into his title fight showdown with Barnaoui.
