Atlantic City, NJ (Juni 7, 2017)–Super mellanvikt Gabriel Pham (8-1, 4 KO: s) will look for his 3rd consecutive victory when he takes on veteran Edgar Perez in a bout scheduled for six-rounds that will be part of a packed undercard denna lördag natt vid The Claridge Hotel i Atlantic City

Since suffering his only professional blemish, den 28 year-old Pham of Atlantic City, New Jersey has stopped his two previous opponents.
Pham believes he will only get better as his trainer, Chuck Eisenbeis will be back in his corner after being absent from Pham’s last couple of bouts.
“It is good to have him back. He taught me everything that I know,” said Pham. “We have been working on footwork, and my jab. I have seen the improvement everyday. Chuck has been working with some UFC fighters and it is great to have him back.”
In Perez he is taking on a durable fighter, who has faced many top prospects, 13 undefeated fighters and a world champion in Jermall Charlo.
“He is a Puerto Rican. I know he is tough as I am Puerto Rican as well. Han har 27 slagsmål, so that is three-times more than I have. He is experienced and he goes rounds for the most part. I have seen some film where can be slick, so I have to be cautious of that. I have been working hard, so I am confident that I will get the job done.”
With a win, Pham can see himself getting into contention for some regional title opportunities.
“A win will set me up for a step up fight. I will discuss that with my manager after this fight. I am happy where I am at as this will be the 3rd fight this year for me and this is by far the busiest stretch of my career. I am looking to impress the fans and keep doubling the expectations with each fight. This will be a top-shelf performance. I want to stop this guy. I don’t go in looking for it, but if I see that I have him staggered or hurt, I will try to get him out of there.”

Atlantic City, NJ (Juni 6, 2017)–Popular native son, weltervikt Anthony “Saft” Unga will look for his 6th consecutive win when he battles hard-hitting George Sosa i den åtta runda co-funktionen denna lördag night at The Claridge Hotel in Atlantic City.

I main event, Thomas “Cornflake” Lamanna (22-2, 9 KO: s) tar på Carlos Winston Velasquez (24-28-2, 15 KO: s) i en åtta Ligt weltervikt tävling
Young of Atlantic City has a record of 16-2 with six knockouts has won five in a row was given the task of fighting Sosa on two weeks notice. Young was training for an all-New Jersey showdown with Juan “Odjuret” Rodriguez, Jr. but Rodriguez had to pull out due to an injury.
“My camp has been great. Sosa is a late-replacement, but that really does not matter, because I was preparing for whoever,”sade 29 year-old Young.
Young knows that Sosa is a big puncher, but feels he is a different fighter outside of his home-country of the Dominican Republic.
“Sosa has 15 vinner, and I know he has all of his victories by knockout. But he was matched lightly when he fought in the Dominican Republic. It doesn’t matter what he will bring, because I have been preparing for him like he is Floyd Mayweather.”
Young has been preparing in New Jersey under the tutelage of trainer, Raul “Chino” Rivas. Young is in a camp that includes recent world champion Jason Sosa, top contender Tevin Farmer and lightweight contender Michael Perez among others, and Young feels that the switch of trainers, which mirrors this win streak is no coincidence.
“Chino has fixed a lot of my bad habits. He has me working on the jab, pivoting, and working the body. Since moving to Chino, I have improved with every fight.”
This will be the 10th appearance on the Boardwalk for Young, and he will look to his mark to 9-1 i Atlantic City (Young is 2-0 at The Claridge).
“I am privileged to fight where I was born. I always look forward to fighting in Atlantic City, and I look forward to putting on a great show på lördag natt.”
Sosa of New Jersey has a record of 15-8 with all 15 wins coming via knockout.
Den 30 year-old Sosa is a six-year professional, who began his career in the Dominican Republic with six consecutive knockouts.
Sosa’s losses have come to fighters who had a combined record of 87-7-1 and they included Three undefeated fighters plus contenders Ray Robinson and Ed Peredes.
Sosa has won two consecutive bouts by knockout as in his most recent effort he stopped Jesus Pascual in three rounds on October 29, 2016 in the Domincan Republic.

Atlantic City, NJ (Maj 31, 2017)–Welterweight contender Thomas “Cornflake” Lamanna will take on 54-fight veteran Carlos Winston Velasquez in the main event of of a stacked card on Lördag, June 10th vid The Claridge Hotel i Atlantic City.
The show is promoted by Rising Promotions.
Lamanna av Millville, New Jersey will compete in a bout scheduled for eight-rounds.
Den 25 year-old LaManna has a record of 22-2 med nio knockouts.
This will be LaManna’s 5th appearance at The Claridge, and 15th start in Atlantic City.
“I have something big planned for the rest of 2017, but I have to handle Velasquez first. I’m talking meaningful titles against meaningful names. I want to keep fighting guys with the experience this way going in to another big fight, I know I’ll be 100%.,” sade Lamanna
“Camp has been awesome with coach Charles Johnson, coach Vince Jackson and Strength and Conditioning with former IBF Cruiserweight Champion Imamu Mayfield.”
“We are looking for another great night at The Claridge,” said Debbie LaManna of Rising Promotions. “We continue to put on great shows, and June 10th will be no different. We feel that the momentum of our shows is starting to help the restoration of boxing in Atlantic City.”
“After Thomas gets through this fight, We will are going to be looking for a regional title belt in one of the the four recognized organizations. If we win that and defend that a couple of times and move through the ratings of the sanctioning bodies, Thomas can earn himself a world title shot,” said Vinny LaManna.
Velasquez of Managua, Nicaragua has a record of 24-28-2 med 15 knockouts.
Den 37 year-old Velasquez has been a professional since 2005, and has some quality wins on his resume over Danilo Moises Solis (18-1), Maisael Castillo (20-0).
Velasquez has also been in the ring with former world champion Jose Alfaro (21-4), former world title challengers Daniel Estrada (17-1), Michele Di Rocco (25-1-1), Petr Petrov (24-2-2), Matt Zegan (38-5), Rene Gonzalez (28-4-1), Luis Cruz (20-2) & Hank Lundy (25-5-1) as well as contenders Luciano Cuello (25-1), Aaron Herrera (20-0), Mahonry Montes (22-0-1), Adrian Granados (12-2-1) & Dusty Hernandez Harrison (26-0).
