HVA: In the latest installment of the original digital franchise FIGHT NIGHT, Showtime Sports® takes viewers behind the scenes of last Friday’s ShoBox: Den nye generasjonen main event, as 19-year-old Devin Haney scored an impressive unanimous decision over former world title-challenger Juan Carlos Burgos.

Denne uken på FNU Combat Sports Show, we discuss the latest news in MMA and boxing, recap the past week’s events and preview the upcoming events this week. We also discuss Walter “2 Guns” Wright winning his main event fight against Mark DeLuca a couple days after we interviewed him last week. Wright’s split decision win came in part due to a persistent jab that frustrated DeLuca and left him bloodied, bruised and exhausted by the final bell. Of course bringing up this fact gets us all going on the absolute necessity of the jab in any combat sports fighter’s toolbox.

Demetrius Andrade Goes To Harvard

PROVIDENCE (November 4, 2015) – Sist torsdag kveld, undefeated super welterweight Demetrius “Boo Boo” Andrade (22-0, 15 KOs) ble hedret av Harvard Club på sitt årlige Fight Night i Bostons Back Bay.
Den 27-år gamle Andrade, bekjempelse av Providence, is a former world super welterweight champion. The sensational southpaw was a 2008 US-. Olympian og 2007 Aiba VM-gullvinner.
“Det var flott å være på Harvard Club med så mange vellykkede mennesker der støtte boksing,” Andrade said. “Jeg var takknemlig for dem som viser så mye interesse for meg.”
