Providence, RI (September 15, 2015)–Det tillkännagavs idag vid Rhode Island State House som obesegrad tidigare WBO Jr. Mellanvikt mästaren Demetrius Andrade kommer att återvända till ringen på lördag kväll, Oktober 17 när han tar på Dario Fabian Pucheta som kommer att äga rum på Mohegan Sun i Uncasville, Connecticut.

Matchen kommer ifrågasättas för WBO International Jr. Mellanvikt titel.

Andrade (21-0, 14 KO: s) kommer att återvända för första gången i 16 månader, och 17 okt matchen kommer att bli kamp som kommer att språngbräda Andrade tillbaka till en VM-titel.

Andrade försvarade sin titel med en 7: e omgången stopp över Brian Rose juni 14, 2014 vid Barclays Center i Brooklyn.

Williams stops Bowles in six in Danbury Fight Night main event

Danbury, CT (Maj 30, 2015)--Prospect Tramaine Williams capped off a great night of boxing with a 6th round stoppage over Josh Bowles in the final scheduled round of their Featherweight bout at the Danbury Arena.

The show was the Inaugural Danbury Fight Night promoted by Prize Promotions.

The main event saw Williams show his quick hand speed to outpoint Bowles for most of the fight. In the final round, Williams landed a booming straight left that sent Bowles down hard on his back. Bowles did well to get to his feet only to take a barrage of punches and the fight was stopped at 1:36 of round six.

Williams, 124 lbs av New Haven, CT är nu 9-0 med 3 knockouts. Bowles, 123.75 lbs of Harrisburg, PA är nu 9-2.

Nate Green remained undefeated by pounding out a 6-round unanimous decision over Timur Shailezov in a Bantamweight bout.

Scores var 60-54, 59-55 och 58-56 for Green, 118 lbs av New Haven, CT and is now 8-0. Shailezov, 118 lbs of Philadelphia is 17-10-1.

Josh Crespo scored a thrilling first round stoppage over Edgar Cortes in a scheduled 6-round Featherweight bout.

Crespo decked Cortes with a hard right hand in the opening seconds of the bout. Cortes got to his feet but ate a barrage of jarring punches before the bout was stopped at 2:20 runda en.

Crespo, 124.5 lbs av New Haven, CT. är nu 4-2-3 med 1 knockout. Cortes, 121 lbs of Vineland, NJ. är 1-1.

In thrilling 4-round war, Andrew Bentley scored a majority decision over previously undefeated Oscar Bonilla in a Lightweight bout.

The two slugged it out to the delight of enthusiastic crowd. Bentley was able to tag a hard charging Bonilla as he came in. There were several toe to toe exchanges were both guys ate heavy leather.

Danbury, CT (Maj 6, 2015)– På 30 maj Prize Promotions presents their first professional boxing card, Danbury Fight Night, taking place at the Danbury Arena, i Danbury, CT. This action packed card is loaded with some of Connecticut’s fastest rising stars, and will be headlined by the much anticipated return of former amateur sensation, and undefeated professional Tramaine “Mighty Midget” Williams.

Williams (8-0 2Kos) out of New Haven, CT, turned pro at the age of 19 after a stellar amateur career, winning his first 8 pro fights in under a year and a half. Legal issues in 2013, halted Williams’ fast track to stardom. After over a year and a half layoff, Williams is set to make his return and reclaim the momentum and buzz that he created as a teenager. Promoter A.J. Galante was happy to give Williams a second chance.

 

“People make mistakes in life, big or small, especially kids. I’m a firm believer in people can learn from them, and I’m big on second chances. I’m proud to be the one to give Tramaine a second chance in boxing, when not a lot of people were willing to. I sat with him, we spoke, and I saw a kid look me in the eye and I saw that he was sincere about getting back on the right track. I’m hoping by giving him a second chance, he will make the most of it, and fulfill his promise. Williams certainly won’t be coming back after a long layoff with a soft touch, he will be taking on Josh Bowles (9-1, 1KO) out of Harrisburg, PA in a 6 round featherweight attraction.

 

Also featured on the card will be New Haven’s Nate “The Great One” Grön (7-0, 2Kos) as he takes on tough veteran spoiler Timur Shailezov (17-9-1, 4KO: s) from Kyrgyzstan, currently residing in Philadelphia, PA

 

Galante made clear that he has not signed Williams, Grön, or any boxer for that matter to promotional contracts, but he noted there are requirements to fighting under Prize Promotions, “My vision is to give guys opportunities that could springboard them to bigger and better things. I’m looking to actually promote the sport the old fashioned way, and put together exciting 50-50 matchups. I think anyone who fights on my card should be recognized as a throwback fighter, and someone that wants to really become great. My matchmakers Russell Peltz, Brittany Rogers and I have not put any soft matches together. Fans can look at this lineup, and realize it’s nearly impossible for there to be an upset, because all these bouts, top to bottom, are equally matched. Everyone fighting on 30 maj understood from the start that they have to fight tough competition, because in the end, it will only bring the best out of them and they will actually grow as a boxer from their matches. Plus the fans deserve it.”

 

This all action night of Professional boxing will also feature some of Connecticut’s most exciting and promising prospects. New Haven’s exhilarating Josh Crespo (3-2-2, 1KO) kommer att ta på Edgar Cortes (1-0) in a four round Featherweight bout.

In what could potentially be the fight of the night, Veteran Richie “Kid Brasil” Neves(8-2-1, 4Kos) of nearby Hyde Park, NY kommer att ta på Gilbert Alex Sanchez (5-6, 2Kos) av Camden, NJ in a Super Welterweight bout scheduled for six-rounds.

 

The night will also feature three highly anticipated debuts from charismatic Light Heavyweight “Fly” Mike Marshall av Bronx, former amateur standout, Super Weltervikt Mike Rue Las Vegas, by way of Columbus, Ohio, and decorated amateur Saso Leskaroski of Macedonia.

ORANGE, Calif. (Maj 5, 2015) – Junior mellanvikt Brandon Adams (16-1, 12 Kos) is returning to a familiar situation. After coming up short in last year’s Boxcino finals and suffering the only loss of his career, the Los Angeles-native dropped down one weight class and fought his way back to the 10-round championship fight.

Adams faces the smooth boxing skills of John Thompson (16-1, 5 Kos) av Newark, New Jersey on Friday, Maj 22, från Omega produkter Outdoor Arena i Corona, Calif. i Boxcino 2015 junior middleweight championship.

John Thompson reflects on Boxcino semifinal win and looks forward towards the final on May 22

Newark, NJ (April 21, 2015)— John “Apollo Kidd” Thompson has begun preparations for his Maj 22 Boxcino final bout against Brandon Adams. (17-1, 12 KO: s).
Kampen kommer att ske på Fredag, Maj 22 i Corona, California and will live on ESPNFredag Night Fights.
Thompson is in Virginia, training under Kay Koroma and he is looking to win the prestigious tournament against Thompson in the 10-round bout at the Omega Products International Outdoor Arena in Corona, Kalifornien.
Thompson (16-1, 5 KO: s) is coming off a 8-round split decision over previously undefeated Stanyslav Skorokhod on April 10 i Betlehem, PA.
“I outboxed the guy,” säger Thompson. I focused on what I needed to focus on and that was using my jab. I also focused on not to exchange and bang with him and I did a pretty good job of that.”
“As well as I fought, I do not think that was even my best win.”
Now he looks towards Adams. Adams of Los Angeles has experience in the Boxcino finals as his only loss was to Willie Monroe Jr. in last year’s Middleweight finals.
“I am happy to be in the finals. This is an opportunity that will be the uprising of my career,” continued Thompson.
“Brandon is a brawler. He will have a few weeks to come up with a strategy to beat me.”
Said Thompson’s promoter, Vito Mielnicki of GH3 Promotions, “I believe we are longer, been in tougher and the better boxer. Brandon is a good fighter but I think he is too green. I know he had a brief amateur career and he could be too green for John.”

Danbury, CT (April 16, 2015)- At the beginning of April, newly licensed Connecticut boxing promoter A.J. Galante introduced his company, Pris Kampanjer. Galante spoke of his goal of bringing “Old School” boxing to Connecticut.

To prove he is serious about his vision, Galante has turned his matchmaking over to Hall of Fame Philadelphia promoter, Russell Peltz along with one of the sports youngest and most promising promoters and matchmakers, Brittany “BAM”

Rogers.

“Russell is the definition of Old School matchmaking, he’s one of the last out there, so it was a no brainer for me to reach out to him, and I am honored that he is willing to work with me.” Galante uppgav, “His resume speaks for itself, I am extremely confident that working together, we will put on spectacular shows” Galante was also extremely excited to work with Brittany “BAM” Rogers, who works in conjunction with Russell Peltz,

“I’m often referred to as one of the youngest boxing people on the business side of things, but BAM is actually younger than me, and has been in the sport longer than me. I have a lot of respect for her and have been learning a lot through working with her.”

Ultimately Galante said what cemented his choice on his matchmakers, was a trip to Philladelphia in October, to attend a show promoted by both Peltz and Rogers, “When you think Philly boxing, you think gritty and exciting, and you can’t think Philadelphia boxing without Russell Peltz and Brittany Rogers, and I am looking forward to bringing those types of shows and that environment here to Connecticut.” It won’t be long for Galante to fulfill his promise, as his first show Danbury Fight Night, will take place on30 maj på Danbury Arena, in his hometown of Danbury, CT.

Philadelphia (Mars 31, 2015)–Det är mindre än två veckor kvar till semifinal i Boxcino 2015 tungvikt och jr. mellanvikt turneringar som kommer att äga rum på fredag ​​kväll, 10 april och kommer att hållas på Sands Casino Resort i Betlehem, PA.

 

Showen kommer att sändas i TV live på ESPN: s Friday Night Fights med Boxcino semifinal slagsmål börjar vid 9 PM ET.

 

Alla semifinal skjutningarna är planerad till åtta omgångar.

Bethlehem, PA (Februari 26, 2015)–På fredag natt, 10 april, en speciell kväll för boxning inleds från Sands Casino Resort i Betlehem, PA, som Boxcino 2015 Jr. Mellanvikt & Heavyweight semifinal kommer att ske på samma kväll.
Showen främjas av Arthur Pelullo s Banner Kampanjer och kommer att sändas live på ESPN: s Fredag Night Fights vid 9 p.m. OCH på ESPN2
