Providence, RI (Septembre 15, 2015)–Il a été annoncé aujourd'hui à l'île State House Rhode que invaincu WBO ancien Jr. Champion des poids moyens Demetrius Andrade sera de retour sur le ring le samedi soir, Octobre 17 quand il prend Dario Fabian Pucheta qui aura lieu au Mohegan Sun à Uncasville, Connecticut.

Le combat sera contesté pour la WBO international Jr. titre Middleweight.

Andrade (21-0, 14 KO) sera de retour pour la première fois dans 16 mois, et l'Octobre 17ème combat sera le combat qui Andrade tremplin vers un titre mondial.

Andrade a défendu son titre avec un arrêt de 7e ronde au cours de Brian Rose sur Juin 14, 2014 au Barclays Center à Brooklyn.

Pucheta de Benos Aires, L'Argentine a un dossier de 20-2 avec 11 KO. Le 28 ans a remporté trois dans une rangée qui comprend son dernier combat quand il a arrêté Bethuel Ushona (32-2) sur Octobre 4, 2014 à Windhoek, Namibie.

This action packed card is loaded with some of Connecticut’s fastest rising stars, and will be headlined by the much anticipated return of former amateur sensation, and undefeated professional Tramaine “Mighty Midget” Williams.

Williams (8-0 2KOs) out of New Haven, CT, turned pro at the age of 19 after a stellar amateur career, winning his first 8 pro fights in under a year and a half. Legal issues in 2013, halted Williams’ fast track to stardom. After over a year and a half layoff, Williams is set to make his return and reclaim the momentum and buzz that he created as a teenager. Promoter A.J. Galante was happy to give Williams a second chance.

 

“People make mistakes in life, big or small, especially kids. I’m a firm believer in people can learn from them, and I’m big on second chances. I’m proud to be the one to give Tramaine a second chance in boxing, when not a lot of people were willing to. I sat with him, we spoke, and I saw a kid look me in the eye and I saw that he was sincere about getting back on the right track. I’m hoping by giving him a second chance, he will make the most of it, and fulfill his promise. Also featured on the card will be New Haven’s Nate “The Great One” vert (7-0, 2KOs) as he takes on tough veteran spoiler Est Shailezov (17-9-1, 4KO) from Kyrgyzstan, currently residing in Philadelphia, Pennsylvanie

 

Galante made clear that he has not signed Williams, vert, or any boxer for that matter to promotional contracts, but he noted there are requirements to fighting under Prize Promotions, “My vision is to give guys opportunities that could springboard them to bigger and better things. I’m looking to actually promote the sport the old fashioned way, and put together exciting 50-50 matchups. I think anyone who fights on my card should be recognized as a throwback fighter, and someone that wants to really become great. My matchmakers Russell Peltz, Brittany Rogers and I have not put any soft matches together. Fans can look at this lineup, and realize it’s nearly impossible for there to be an upset, because all these bouts, de haut en bas, are equally matched. John Thompson reflects on Boxcino semifinal win and looks forward towards the final on May 22

Newark, New Jersey (Avril 21, 2015)— Jean “Apollo Kidd” Thompson has begun preparations for his Mai 22 Boxcino final bout against Brandon Adams. (17-1, 12 KO).

Danbury, CT (Avril 16, 2015)- At the beginning of April, newly licensed Connecticut boxing promoter A.J. Galante introduced his company, Promotions de prix. Galante spoke of his goal of bringing “Old School” boxing to Connecticut.

Ultimately Galante said what cemented his choice on his matchmakers, was a trip to Philladelphia in October, to attend a show promoted by both Peltz and Rogers, “When you think Philly boxing, you think gritty and exciting, and you can’t think Philadelphia boxing without Russell Peltz and Brittany Rogers, and I am looking forward to bringing those types of shows and that environment here to Connecticut.” It won’t be long for Galante to fulfill his promise, as his first show Danbury Fight Night, aura lieu le30 mai au Danbury Arena, in his hometown of Danbury, CT.

Philadelphie (Mars 31, 2015)–Ce est moins de deux semaines des demi-finales de la Boxcino 2015 des poids lourds et JR. tournois de poids moyen qui auront lieu le vendredi soir, 10 avril et se tiendra au Sands Casino Resort à Bethléem, Pennsylvanie.

 

Le spectacle sera retransmis en direct sur ESPN Friday Night Fights avec les combats de demi-finale à partir de Boxcino 9 PM ET.

 

Tous les combats de demi-finales sont prévues pour huit rounds.

Bethlehem, Pennsylvanie (Février 26, 2015)–Vendredi nuit, 10 avril, une soirée spéciale de la boxe débutera à partir du Sands Casino Resort à Bethléem, Pennsylvanie, comme le Boxcino 2015 Jr. Middleweight & Demi-finales des poids lourds auront lieu le même soir.
Le spectacle est promu par Promotions bannière Arthur Pelullo et sera diffusé en direct sur ESPN Vendredi Night Fights à 9 p.m. ET sur ESPN2
Au cours des deux dernières semaines, les quarts de finale ont eu lieu dans les deux divisions, et les match-ups sur Avril 10 sont les suivants:
Dans le Jr. Division Middleweight:
Brandon Adams (16-1, 11 KO) se battra Vito Gasparyan (15-3-5, 8 KO) tandis queStanyslav Skorokhod (9-0, 7 KO) batailles John Thompson (15-1, 5 KO).
Dans la division des poids lourds:
Andrey Fedosov (26-3, 21 KO) va prendre Lenroy Thomas (19-3, 9 KO) etRazvan Cojanu (13-1, 7 KO) carrés au large avec Donovan Dennis (13-2, 10 KO).
Tous les quatre combats de demi-finale Boxcino sont prévues pour huit rounds.
“Nous sommes très heureux d'être amener les demi-finales Boxcino au Sands à Bethléem,” dit Promotions bannière président Arthur Pelullo.
