Webster z Glassboro, New Jersey has been working hard in the gym as he prepares for this most important bout.

I have been asking for Groves after he gets done with the WBSS Tournament or WBA champion Tyrin Zeuge. I would also like to take on WBO champion Gilberto Ramirez.”

 

 

 

This is a special weekend for Atlantic City Boxing as the Atlantic City Boxing Hall of fame will have it’s 2nd induction weekend, and may of the legends of the sport will be in attendance to watch Webster fight.

This last year has been rough, as I have been going through a bad situation in my personal life, but I have to thank Mis Downing, Roy Jones Jr., Ray McCline and my trainer Denny Brown to have helped me get through this. Atlantic City, N.J. – 26 kwietnia, 2018 – As part of the 2nd annual induction weekend, the Atlantic City Boxing Hall of Fame presents the “ACBHOF Fight Fan Experience” which will take place on Saturday, June 2nd at The Claridge Hotel.

 

 

 

“The Fight Fan Experience” is a bonus for boxing fans to an already action-packed weekend that will include a Meet-And-Greet, two professional fight cards, and induction ceremonies.

 

 

 

“The Fight Fan Experience” includes the opportunity to rub shoulders and meet some of the legends of boxing, as well as view the Jack Johnson Exhibit, “Smokin” Joe Frazier Legacy Exist Exhibit, the great sculptures of James O’Neal and Philly Boxing History Exhibit. Fans will experience music by DJ Young Hitta, interactive activities, participation in a Pop-Up Boxing Gym, an opportunity to view and buy Icons of Boxing Memorabilia, and back by popular demand our pop-up barbershop styled by A True Gentleman’s Barber Shop Polo’s Lounge plus much more.

The bout will headline a card promoted by Rising Promotions.
CEO of Rising Promotions Debra LaManna stated, “We are starting 2017 with a tremendous card and we plan on only doing bigger and better things for boxing this year.”

The 25 year-old is coming off a defeat to undefeated Dusty Hernandez Harrison in a thrilling bout that took place on September 15th w Filadelfii.

In that bout, LaManna fought a good fight and had solid moments throughout the hotly contested bout that was for the USBA Welterweight title.

LaManna is moving back up to the 154 pound division where LaManna is undefeated (7-0 między 148-154 funtów) in the division for which he turned professional in 2011.

Lamanna (19-1, 7 KO) pobliskiego Millville, New Jersey will be making his second consecutive appearance at The Claridge. LaManna won a 8-round unanimous decision over Ariel Vasquez on December 5th.

LaManna used his reach and height and worked behind his jab to keep Vasquez at bay. As the fight wore on, LaManna started to dominate with body punches and cruised home to victory to the tune of 79-72 on two scorecards and 78-73.

W ko-feature 6 rundy, former IBF Cruiserweight champion Imamu Mayfield will be making his long awaited comeback in a Heavyweight bout.
Mayfield of Perth Amboy, New Jersey will making his first appearance in just for 8-years.
Mayfield won the IBF Cruiserweight championship when he won a 12-round unanimous decision over Uriah Grant on November 8, 1997. He made one defense and was stopped by Arthur Williams on October 30, 1998.
Mayfield won the USBA Cruiserweight title with 10th round stoppage over Gary Wilcox on June 30, 2001.
Mayfield has also fought world champions Juan Carlos Gomez, Krzystof Wlodarczyk and Alexander Povetkin.
